Half angels: Individuals cursed because of their impure lineage. Tsukimiya is a Vampire Half Angel, and with her companion-of-convenience Hinata, with whom she shares a strained relationship at best, and an antagonistic one at worst, are on a search for the "God's Book of Prophecy". The book harbors immense power, and is supposedly the only thing capable of removing the half-blood curse that Tsukimiya and Hinata share. The problem is that nobody knows if the book's power is enough to save two people, and neither is willing to share with the other.

It was three months ago when Souka suffered a seizure... The name of the illness is the "I-Type Vibeil Outbreak." To summarize the illness, it basically multiplies the antibodies inside of her body by enormous amounts, causing the antibodies to attack her own body, which will eventually lead to her death. There is no cure for this illness, but there is one treatment. That is to deliver her antibodies to another patient, Cildy, by biting into her body to transfer the antibodies. Cildy also carries an illness called the "Louge Golge Syndrome" which is the complete opposite of Souka's I-Type Vibeil Outbreak and Cildy carries no antibodies, which will cause her to become vulnerable to diseases. The two need each other to survive, but they notice as time passes that Cildy is becoming weaker and weaker. At the same time, Souka hints at a secret that Cildy carries with her. That secret veils all the facts about their diseases...

Gina's father sent his son a prototype version of the humanoid cellphone, but Ginta's sister unexpectedly made some "changes" to the new cellphone and due to that it makes countless mistakes. The cellphone humanoid, named Momoko, slips on flat surfaces, rips Ginta's jacket, turns a jacket into a puzzle, and trips and nearly kills Ginta when a pair of scissors slip out of her hand. Ginta asks himself, "Will I live long in this condition?" Notice: This manga is different from traditional manga. Instead of reading right to left, it reads left to right.

Ririko lost her parents and siblings in a mysterious incident where details remain in the shadows. At her new school, Ririko becomes friends with Maya and has some interest in a male student named Shirou. She questions about the black clock tower that stands in the center of the town, but no one bothers to answer the question. Her new life in her new home seemed all as well until one day Maya calls Ririko out and takes out the same checkered card that Ririko was given to her and she summons some unknown creature! As Ririko is in confusion as to what's going on, Shirou appears and says "Not another one....." What's going on around here?

He turns around and finds Akira bringing her lips towards his... Love has bloomed in the middle of a rainy night.

New gag manga debuting in Shounen Jump.
Jin somehow got stranded on a deserted island. As he becomes more and hopeless about how to get back home, he finds a lamp buried in the sand at the shore and he makes a plan to escape his situation using the lamp, but he finds out that the genie in the lamp was surfing! In another situation, there is a quiz show where things are completely weird and unexpected, but it's too difficult to explain in words! Hilarious little jokes are on every page. A must read if you like comedy!

The point of view begins with Hakaze, a witch who ended up on a deserted island. Changing point of views, we now look at Yoshino and Mahiro. Yoshino and Mahiro were best friends, but one day Mahiro suddenly disappeared. Yoshino assumed that he found a clue to whoever murdered his family. Despite the close bond they had, Yoshino has no idea where Mahiro is. However, one day when Yoshino was putting flowers on Mahiros' family's grave, a woman questions Yoshino about Mahiro at gun point. According to the woman, Mahiro got involved with some serious issues that will inevitably put the human race in a catastrophic situation, and the Japanese government is desperately looking for Mahiro. Apparently some sort of "magic" is involved. What happened to Mahiro? And who is this Hakaze girl? What does Hakaze have to do with this?

This week I'm looking forward to seeing Negaigoto 300000 km/s as well as Natsu no Zenjitsu getting translated/scanlated; I'm a sucker for romance. As for non-romance series, I'm hoping someone'll translate/scanlate Zetsuen no Tempest. The raws look really good; it's no wonder Rena scanned the raws. :P And hopefully Bloody Cross gets a translator since the first chapter kind of looked interesting (hey, it has a hot girl and a pretty boy with some nice action thrown in) and the group doing the series needs one to continue with the series. Monokuro Kitan looks pretty and dark too and I see a translator already jumping in to translate. ^_^

And if you haven't checked out the supernatural seinen comedy series, Shinigami Trilogy, which was shouted out in June, about a shinigami saving a girl then go check it out; the second chapter just got scanlated. And someone please translate Those Who Chase the Ageha from last week. Pretty please with a cherry on top?
