Jirochou: Who woulda thought we’d live to see the day…
Where it’s bonfires and moonlight illuminating the town that never sleeps rather than neon lights?
This place is noisy the whole damn year –so nights like this ain’t too bad once a spell.
Otose: We’re fortunate the town even made it to night, really.
Jirochou: Yeah, next we just need a little sunlight on this place, and we can pat ourselves on the back for a job well done.
Otose: My my, to think simply getting by day-to-day would become a job in and of itself…
It used to be that you could sit around twiddling your thumbs and tomorrow would show up on its own, but nowadays unless you pin it down and shake it up a little, one might not last long enough to walk in much less see it.
Everyone worked so hard and did so well…is that not enough to see tomorrow?
Jirochou: It’s not like we don’t have enough, --more like the enemy’s got a lot and then some.
We managed to open a can of whoop ass and send ‘em crying back home but they haven’t been defeated.
Best case scenario, we’ve just fooled ‘em into thinking they had to eat a loss for a bit.
We knocked around some elite units and cut their footsoldiers down a lil’, but all things considered, we’re still lookin’ down the barrel of one hugeass gun.
