~Recap of Previous Events~
Sumimura Yoshimori and Yukimura Tokine, as Kekkaishi, members of a clan specialising in ayakashi extermination, fight to protect the Karasumori ground.
The highest authority of the Urakai, the Council of Twelve, have sent their Eighth Seat, Okuni, to investigate Karasumori!
Before the eyes of those gathered in Karasumori, a mysterious black box appeared. From within, ayakashi emerged, and Yoshimori and the others were defeating them relatively easily, when Tokine, chasing after the one behind it all, plunged into one of the boxes herself!
To make things even worse, the perpetrator, Box User Kakushino, had planted a dangerous ayakashi cocoon on the scene... and what emerged from that cocoon was the immense ayakashi, Kurokabuto, which has now matured to completion...!!
Is Karasumori in big trouble...?!
