Bleach 222

As I noted earlier in the discussion thread, I didn't have time to do a full script. So this week AkiDot did most of the work with heavy edits and the like. If she ever decides to post here, give her some love. I'll see what I can do about notes later today though.

Also, I have a request for the cross-posters out there. I'm not irate or bothered or anything, but when you cite the scripts go ahead and try to remember just to post a link back instead of taking the whole thread? Sometimes I toss in some notes that don't make the crosspost and readers everywhere else don't get them.

(The Vizards have apparently rotated in all of their members to keep Masked Ichigo busy inside Hatch's barrier. Currently, Love is inside, but is having a hard time against Masked Ichigo's growing power.)

Love (Rabu): <Breathing SFX> Ou!?

Love (Rabu): Fuuuuuuuuu! Looks like that gaze's gone completely Hollow.

Lisa (Risa): (Love's passed the hour mark in there... I'm up to bat again.) Hey Kensei, who took the longest to change amongst us anyway?

Kensei: 69 minutes and 2 seconds for Hiyori.

Lisa (Risa): What time do you have?

Kensei: Just 20 seconds shy of that.

Lisa (Lisa): Love, it's a Cero!

Well, I guess disproves the theory that was somewhat accepted around the fandom that only Menos-type Hollows/Arrancar could possibly fire off a Cero.

Little Girl Vizard: Won't Rabu have to turn into a Hollow now?

(Ichigo's Hollow self seems to molt off to reveal Ichigo's real spiritual body; complete with the wounds he sustained fighting Anti-Ichigo, but with his Hollow mask still on his face.)

Interesting sight that suggests that even though the Inner World is inside yourself; you'll still bring the damage back with you like when you leave your spiritual self and go back to your physical self. So the chain of damage here goes Inner World => Real Spiritual Body => Physical Body.

Hatch (Hacchi): Yes, sir.

Little Girl Vizard: Hey, is he all right...? Ha-chin?

Transcribe that however you want, but this character is simply saying Hatch-chin, and condensing it into something like "Hatchin" to sound cuter.

Hirako: So, how are you holding up?

Ichigo: Been better, I guess.

(Ichigo doubles over, and remembers Anti-Ichigo's last warning.)

Anti-Ichigo: If there's even the smallest of openings, I'm gonna be seeing your sorry face again, and next time I'm going to take your skull and crush it underfoot!!

(Ichigo tightens his hand around his Zanpakutou.)

Ichigo: Ain't gonna be a next time, jack.

Since I don't really have anything close to resembling what you'd call a formal education in the Japanese language (more or less self-taught), it's easy to see how I missed the s/th phonetic crossover effect when I first transcribed the title from katakana to English. Another +1 to AkiDot for putting up with me on final drafts like this.

Anyway, with that out of the way, yes the title is in reference to Ichigo's newfound resolve as he's now regained the throne of his Inner World and become sovereign over the Hollow again. Still... where's Zangetsu?

(Scene change to the Living World; Orihime senses Ichigo's reiatsu and evaluates his situation again.)

Orihime: Hmmm, Kurosaki didn't make it to class again. I can feel his reiatsu if I focus, so he should be all right.

Orihime: He's maybe training in secret around here... we shouldn't have to search all over for him, but... even Kuchiki's troubled... (He... left without saying anything to her...)

(Orihime remembers the troubled Ichigo from the recent past.)

Orihime: Ack! What is this all of a sudden. I'm being all depressed. Er, but even Ishida and Sado are all taking breaks, so it's natural to get all worked up about it. What do I do if this keeps up, though? Maybe I'll get Tatsuki to have a bite to eat tomorrow; she's been under the weather too... Great, so I'll head over to her place and see what I can do for her.

(An old lady drops by and has a word with Orihime.)

(Orihime returns to her room and sees a huge freaky monitor now installed in it.)

Shinigami technology can get a bit... organic. Take a look at the crew over at the 12th Division and what sort of devices/technology they use and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Hitsugaya: Feh, bad timing it looks like.

Hitsugaya: Captain Hitsugaya Toushiro of the 10th, reporting in.

Monitor: Acknowledged; now connecting...

(The monitor blinks on; it's Yamamoto.)

Yamamoto: This was a quick jerry-rig solution; I'm not surprised, Captain Hitsugaya. Anyway, this emergency broadcast is to relay one thing: Aizen Sousuke's actual goals.

Sounds like next week could be the start of revelations a la Bleach again. That and Hitsugaya sounds like he's a slacker. =o
