I've implemented your suggestions. Would you happen to know what it is Ivarella calls Isidro? Is it "Smartass" (or any equivalent thereof) or "Monkey?

The guy might be referencing Isidro being kicked out of the boat or something. I suspect something like that happened, but I'm not sure. If so, the bolded alternaive might be closer to what the character actually meant.

I don't read Japanese, but from what I remember from previous (scanlated) translations, Ivarella does in fact refer to Isidro as a "monkey." So I believe that is the appropriate translation.

Regarding the alternative translations, I suggest asking a fellow Japanese->English translator for advice, as I hesitate to choose among the alternatives when I am unfamiliar with what the original sentence was.
