i like how the manga is done.. i feel its very original and true from the artist mind and not much of to sale point of view.

I think that its drastically underated and unknown because of its gore and sexual assaults. It dominates each tag(Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Horror, Tragedy) in my mind as the best in each genre.
Hands down worth the time and if Miura ever gets back into it then it will be released on time, making it more appealing to non-addicted readers.
Its recent volumes have gotten a little too epic for my taste to be honest, but the first couple of chapters are right down my alley(aka the 100 year war).
The character of guts is probably one of the simplest/best characters that i've ever had the pleasure to read about and grow to enjoy. The reader begins to associate themselves with the character and through this relationship they feel sympathic towards his struggle.
If I had to sum up Berserk in one word i'd make up a word- "Bombay"(urban dictionary that bad boy-its a good one) Permalink " "

Most epic storyline imaginable - without the huge amount of obvious similarities and cliche characters many other stories suffer of. At the same time the niveau of the super detailled artworks might be unparalleled, while Miura has a great sense for epic shots as well.
