Characters & Story
High school student Kurosaka Gengo became host to an alien parasite called Mutsume, thus gaining a power that sets him apart from the common man. Mutsume's pursuer, a beautiful alien girl named Ishtar is an "Observer". She settled at Gengo's place in order to keep an eye on him. As it turns out, civilization was granted to humanity by Ishtar's ancestors in times long past, to allow the latter to absorb energy from intelligent creatures.
But a former Observer, the mysterious "Big Bro" informed her that their own race has been created artificially. Does it mean there's a "God" behind the Observers and everyone else, who's pulling the strings?!
KUROSAKA GENGO
Used to be an ordinary and unassuming high school student, but one day he was possessed by a "parasitic" alien called Mutsume, thus obtaining the ability to manipulate water. Mutsume's been absorbed by Gengo and his consciousness ought to have disappeared. However...
ISHTAR
An "Observer", she protects earthlings from those who would devour them. She came chasing after Mutsume, but the latter possessed Gengo's body, so she settled at Gengo's place to keep an eye on him. More spontaneous than she looks.
BIG BRO
This mysterious man is a former Observer. He seeks to ally himself with Gengo and Ishtar in order to thwart the Observers' ruling body's plot to obtain absolute power. Has a massive crush on Karino Yuuko. Goes by the nickname of Big Bro.

Meanwhile, Mutsume ought to have disappeared, absorbed by Gengo. But the parasite's memories have been transferring to the boy, making him not-quite-himself, but some sort of oddity. Could Gengo be "God's creation, the worst weapon ever"?
Then the Observers decided to devour mankind to extinction. Ishtar, who came to care for humans, now experiences an acute sense of affliction. Will Gengo and Ishtar be able to fulfill their modest, yet greatest wish to "protect those they care about"?
KARINO YUUKO
A teacher at Gengo's high school, she's actually possessed by a plant-like "parasite". Her personality fused with that of the original human being, and she's an intellectual. Protecting her sudents takes precedence over everything else.
TOWADA SAYOKO
Gengo's classmate and childhood friend. A tough girl, but she actually cares a lot for Gengo. Has a parasite dwelling inside her, but it didn't take over her personality.
AKAGI MAYA
Gengo and Towada's classmate, this girl is rather prone to daydreaming. She's been possessed by a parasite, but Ishtar dragged it out. She has no memories of the incident.

High school student Kurosaka Gengo became host to an alien parasite called Mutsume, thus gaining a power that sets him apart from the common man. Mutsume's pursuer, a beautiful alien girl named Ishtar is an "Observer". She settled at Gengo's place in order to keep an eye on him. As it turns out, civilization was granted to humanity by Ishtar's ancestors in times long past, to allow the latter to absorb energy from intelligent creatures.
But a former Observer, the mysterious "Big Bro" informed her that their own race has been created artificially. Does it mean there's a "God" behind the Observers and everyone else, who's pulling the strings?!
KUROSAKA GENGO
Used to be an ordinary and unassuming high school student, but one day he was possessed by a "parasitic" alien called Mutsume, thus obtaining the ability to manipulate water. Mutsume's been absorbed by Gengo and his consciousness ought to have disappeared. However...
ISHTAR
An "Observer", she protects earthlings from those who would devour them. She came chasing after Mutsume, but the latter possessed Gengo's body, so she settled at Gengo's place to keep an eye on him. More spontaneous than she looks.

This mysterious man is a former Observer. He seeks to ally himself with Gengo and Ishtar in order to thwart the Observers' ruling body's plot to obtain absolute power. Has a massive crush on Karino Yuuko. Goes by the nickname of Big Bro.

Gengo's classmate and childhood friend. A tough girl, but she actually cares a lot for Gengo. Has a parasite dwelling inside her, but it didn't take over her personality.
