Raishin: Juurou, don’t!

かがり： 兄さん！

かがり： 兄さん。。。
Kagari: Niisan…

Kagari: This is terrible…


かがり： 十郎兄さんが。。。なんで。。。
Kagari: Why would he do this?

雷信： わからん。。。
Raishin: I don’t know.


雷信： あいつのコトはもうわからなくなった。。。
Raishin: I don’t understand him anymore…

雷信： わかっているのはあいつが人間どもにも、
オレたちにとっても危険だということだ。
Raishin: What I do know is that he is putting us all
in danger from the humans.


かがり： でも。。。十郎さんは強いわ。。。もしかすると雷信兄さんより。。。
Kagari: But…Juurou-san is strong. Perhaps stronger than you, Raishin-niisan.


雷信： ああ、かがり、ヤツはオレよりも強い。
Raishin: Yes, Kagari, he’s stronger than me.

かがり： だが誰かがあいつを止めねば。。。
Kagari: But there must be someone who can stop him.

潮： うわーっ！オヤジからもらった金おっことしちまった～！
Ushio: Uwa! I lost the money I got from Pops!

潮： っかしーなー、ちゃんと腹にまいといたハズなのになーっ！
Ushio: That’s so weird! I had it strapped to my waist!

潮： 槍の布と服買った時はポクットの金つかったしなー
Ushio: When I bought the Spear cover and cord I used the money in my pockets…

潮： うわーあれがないとこれから先、旅が続けられねーよー！
Ushio: Uwa! We can’t keep traveling without it!!


とら： はあん。
んなモンなくたっていーじゃねーか。見苦しいなあ。
Tora: ~Yawn~
It’s fine if you don’t have it. It’s no big deal.


潮： バカヤローッ。　昔はどうかしらんけどなあ
今は何をすんにも金がいるんでーっ！
Ushio: Idiot! I don’t know what people did in your day
but now, if you want to do anything, you need money!


とら： バーカ。てめえがどじなだけよ。
Tora: Stupid. You’re screwed.


潮： さがそう！きっと青葉城のあたりだ。
Ushio: I’m gonna go look for it! It must be at Aoba Castle.

潮： きとくなヒトがひろってくれてるかもしれないな！
Ushio: Some Good Samaritan probably picked it up!

とら： ねえよ。
Tora: No way.


潮： なにーっ！？
Ushio: What was that!?


潮： そうかもなあ。
Ushio: You’re probably right~

とら： 疲れる。。。アイツといると疲れるわ。
Tora: Being around this guy is seriously wearing me out.

Raishin: There he is.


かがり： でも、あれがそうなの？　あんな子供が。。。
Kagari: Really? That child?

雷信： そうだ。妖同士ではだいぶ前から噂だったのだ。
Raishin: Yes. He’s the one we’ve been hearing rumors of
from our fellow bakemono .


雷信： おまえも感じろだろう？
あの「獣の槍」の危険なにおいを。。。
Raishin: You feel it too, don’t you?
The dangerous smell of the Beast Spear…

かがり： それはそうだけど。。。
Kagari: Yes. I do.


雷信： ま。。。いずれにしても、
試せばわかる。
Raishin: Well, in any case,
we’ll know once we’ve tested him.

Ushio: Aw, it wasn’t there after all.

とら： だから言ったろー。ここは「ケーサツパン」*
とかいうヤツにいってだな～。
Tora: I told you so. You’d better tell one of those “poleesman” guys.

*Due to his mispronunciation, Tora actually says “Police Bread” instead of “Police Officer”

潮： おまえよくそんなコト知ってんな！
Ushio: You’re sure learning a lot!

潮： ちがうけどよ
Ushio: Even if it’s wrong.

とら： へへ　　テレピってやつでやってたんだ
Tora: He he It’s from that “Teevee” thing.

女： きゃっ。
Girl: Kyah!


女： やだあ、風吹いたと思ったら
ストッキング急に破れちゃったあ！
Girl: Oh no, I thought it was just the wind
but my stocking suddenly ripped!

男： へへ。
Man: He he.


男： オレそれ知ってるよ。ばーちゃんが言ってた。
風吹いて知らんいうちに切り傷なんかできてたら
そりゃヨーカイ「かまいたち」のしわざなんだと。
Man: I know what it is. My granny told me about it.
When the wind blows and you get some cut you can’t explain,
the “Kamaitachi”* did it.

*”Kamaitachi” means Sickle Weasel

女： かまいたちィ？へんなのー！
Girl: Kamaitchi? That’s silly!


男： 風がたまたまつくる真空がやってんだとよ。
あれ見てみろよォ。
Man: They’re just chance vacuums caused by the wind.
Look over there.

女： わ！
Girl: Whoa!

男： オレもはじめて見たけどよー。
Man: But it’s the first time I’ve seen one.

潮： 面白いなー。
Ushio: That’s interesting.

潮： 真空が妖怪だとよーとら。
Ushio: They think the vacuums are youkai, Tora.


潮： とら？
Ushio: Tora?


とら： 真空ってヤツのせいなんかじゃねー。
Tora: It’s not due to any vacuum thing.

潮： あん？
Ushio: Huh?


潮： つむじ風か？
Ushio: A whirlwind?

とら： 風じゃねえ。。。
Tora: That’s no whirlwind.


とら： 鎌鼬だ。
Tora: It’s a Kamaitachi.

（箱： とらはフツー人には見えない。）
(Box: Tora cannot be seen by normal people)

Ushio: Geh! What’re you doing! Why are you attacking me!


潮： くそ！
Ushio: Crap!


潮： ひゅっ。
Ushio: Hyuh.

Raishin: Gueh!!


潮： まったくおめーらはたいしたワケなく人を襲いやがって！
Ushio: Jeez, you guys attack people for no good reason!


かがり： 待ってください！
Kagari: Please wait!

Kagari: Please forgive us!


かがり： お怒りはごもっともです！
ですが、どうか！！
どうかわたしの話を聞いてください！！
一緒に来ていただけないでしょうか？
Kagari: Your anger is completely understandable!
But please! Please listen to what I have to say.
Will you please come with us?


潮： はあ？
Ushio: Eh?

とら： ニブイな！そいつらおまえは槍の持ち主か確かめたのよ。
Tora: You sure are thick. They were making sure you were the Spear’s owner.

とら： そんなコトより大騒ぎになってるぜー。
Tora: And they also made quite a scene.

人々： おお、あのガキへんなモンふりまわしたあげくに
女を刺そうとしてるぞっ！
けーさつよべっ！
People: Oh, after all that weird jumping around,
that kid is trying to stab that woman! Call the police!


潮： あわわわわ。。。！
Ushio: Aaack!

かがり： 一緒においでください。お願いでございます。
Kagari: Please come with us. We have a request to make.


人々： あっ今度は女をつれて逃げたぞっ
People: Oh, now he’s running away with her!

潮： わかった　わかった。じゃあ早く連れてってくれよ！
Ushio: Okay, okay! Just hurry up and lead the way!

潮： あれから新幹線や車でこんな山奥につれてこられちまったよ。
Ushio: So they took us up into the recesses of these mountains by car and bullet train.

潮： 一人じゃもう帰れねえなあ。ここはどのあたりだろ？
Ushio: I’m not going to be able to get back on my own.
Doesn’t look like there’s much around here.

とら： 今、金おとした時よりも落ちついてるなんて、
ヘンだぞ、うしお。
Tora: It’s weird that you’re calmer now than when you lost that money, Ushio.

潮： さーてなー。慣れちまったのかなあ。
Ushio: Oh, well, I’ve gotten used to this stuff.


潮： それに願いをきいてくれたれ、旅費くれるっていうし。
あいつらそんなワルいヤツじゃないような気がするんだ。
Ushio: Besides, they said they’d give us some travel money is we listened to their request.
They don’t seem like bad guys to me.

Kagari: You are the weilder of the Beast Spear.
We have something which we would like the chance to ask of you.


かがり： 御推察のとおり我々は年経た妖怪―。人は。。。
Kagari: As you have surmised, we are ancient youkai. Humans…

雷信： 鎌鼬と呼びます。
Raishin: Call us Kamaitachi.

雷信： お願いでございますー。。。
Raishin: This is our request.

雷信： 。。。いたずらに殺戮、破壊にはしる我らが兄弟十郎を。。。
殺してくださいませ。
Raishin: Our brother Juurou is running amok, idly massacring people.
We wish for you to kill him.
