なあ、うしお　おめえの槍も手が出なかったな。
Tora: Hmn, a Sickle Weasel. He was pretty skillful with that sickle.
Hey, Ushio. You dropped your spear.


とら： さ。。。こんなめんどくせーコトやってねえでいこーぜ。
ホカイドーとやらにいくんだろ？
Tora: Well… Let’s just forget this crap and go.
We’ve gotta go to Hokkaido and whatnot, right?


とら： うしおってばよ！
Tora: Come on, Ushio!


とら： バカヤロウー！あれくらいでくたばっちまうヤツがあるかよ！？
目えあけんかい　ホラァ！
Tora: Idiot! Are you gonna drop dead after just this!?
Open your eyes! You hear me!


とら： おめーこのバカがさっさと起きやがらんかい！

Raishin: It’s useless. He was struck by Juurou’s great sickle.


雷信： 気づく事もなくその者は死ぬるな。
Raishin: You haven’t noticed but he’s dying.

とら： なにィ？
Tora: What?


雷信： いくらあの時その槍にまもられたとはいえ、
Raishin: Although the Spear protected him somewhat,

雷信： 首がとばなかっただけよかったのよ。
Raishin: It only kept him from being decapitated.


とら： ちっ、そーかよっ。
Tora: Ch-, I see.

雷信： ぬし、この人間に訳あって憑いているようだが
このまま死んでは困るだろう。
Raishin: It will be trouble for you if this human you seem to haunt dies this way.


とら： あん？どいうことだ。
Tora: Hn? What do you mean?


かがり： 鈍いね。この人間を助ける方法があるっていうんだよ。
Kagari: You’re dense. He’s saying there is a way to save this human.

Raishin: Uh-


とら： 言えっ！
Tora: Tell me!


かがり： あたしの薬よ！鎌鼬の傷は鎌鼬の薬じゃなきゃ治らないわ！
Kagari: My medicine! A Kamaitachi wound must be healed with Kamaitachi medicine!


かがり： 薬をつける役目のあたしの作った薬なら、
その人間を救えるわっ！
Kagari: Because I am the one who holds the role of the medicine maker,
I can save the human!

Kagari: You’re a bakemono too. If the human you haunt dies, you’ll have nowhere to go.
So listen to what we have to say!

とら： バカ！わしゃこんなヤツなんてくたばっていいんだよ。
Tora: Stupid! That guy can drop dead for all I care.

かがり： それならなんでそんなにムキになってその人間助ける方法聞くのよ！
Kagari: If that’s so, then why did become so angry when you asked the way to save this human!

雷信： その人間を助けたかったら、十郎を討つのに力を貸せ！
Raishin: If we save this human, you must lend a hand in fighting Juurou!

雷信： おまえの力も役に立つだろう。
もちろんその人間も手伝ってもらうがな。。。
Raishin: You’re power will be very effective.
And of course, this human will also be of help.


とら： おまえらうしおをおだてて　十郎をこいつがやったら、
こいつも殺しちまう気でいたろ？
Tora: You guys stirred Ushio up.
After he kills Juurou,

雷信： その通りよ。必要なのは「獣の槍」の力だけだったからな。

自分の手で、とり殺したいでしょ！？

潮： とらっ、あいつどこ行ったっ！？
Ushio: Tora, where did he go!?


潮： あいつは殺すぞ。もっともっと人を殺す！
あいつの目はそう言ってた。。。
Ushio: He’s going to kill again. He’s going to kill A LOT more people!
I could see it in his eyes…

Tora: Stupid, you can’t move. There’s nothing you can do about that now.

潮： でもあいつを止めなきゃ。
Ushio: But we have to stop him.


潮： あいつには憎しみしかなかった。。。
Ushio: He’s only full of hatred

潮： 人間へのよ！
Ushio: For humans!

潮： とら、おめーだいじょーぶかよーっ！！

とら： うるせーなァ。こんなのくっつけときゃ治るんだよ！
Tora: Shut up. It’ll heal once it’s attached for bit!


潮： ホントか、ホントにくっつけときゃ治んのか？
Ushio: Really? It’ll really heal if you reattach it?

とら： ちっ、そーだよ！
Tora: Ch-, yeah!


潮： よーし！
Ushio: All right then!


とら： いてーててて！
Tora: Ow-ow-ow-ow!


潮： おとなしくしろっ。人間が腕折ったらこーすんの！
Ushio: Take it like a man. This is how humans treat a broken arm!

とら： わしのは折れたんじゃねーや！
Tora: My arm’s not broken!

Ushio: What was that for? That was mean.

とら： いつもはその槍でわしをぶっ叩くだけのおまえが、
なんでこんないらん世話やっくんだよ。
Tora: Why are you, who are always whacking me with that Spear,
trying futilely to take care of this?


潮： そうだなーなんでかな？
Ushio: You’re right. Why am I?

潮： う～ん。。。
Ushio: Uuumm…


潮： 人間だからかなー。
Ushio: Probably cuz I’m human.


とら： 人間か。。。
Tora: Human, huh?

十郎： 高速道路だと？　けっ、人間どもめ！
Juurou: All for a highway? Keh, accursed humans!

十郎： 朝になって工事が始まったらみんなぶち殺してやる！
Juurou: When morning comes and construction begins,
I’ll kill them all!


十郎： うるさい音と鉄のにおいを、
人間どもの血の色にかえてやる！
Juurou: I’ll replace the loud noise and the smell of iron
with the color of human blood!


十郎： 朝よ。。。来い！
Juurou: Come quickly, morning!

雷信： 十郎がまだやっていない人間達への報復は
この山の高速道路工事の人間を殺すことです。
今まで何かの理由があったらしく中止になっていてのが
今日早朝から再開されます。。。
Raishin: In retribution against the humans he hasn’t killed yet,
Juurou is going to kill the humans doing construction on the mountain highway.
For some reason, there’s been a work suspension up until now
but it’ll be resuming this morning.

潮： その工事現場に向かってんだな？？
Ushio: We’re heading for the construction site, right?

雷信： ええ。
Raishin: Right.


潮： 。。。なあ、とら　　あいつおかしかったんだぜ。。。
Ushio: Hey, Tora. He was really strange…

とら： ああ？
Tora: Huh?


潮： あの時。。。あいつ。。。十郎さ
なんか泣いてるみたいだったんだ。。。
Ushio: Back there…he…Juurou looked like he was crying…

とら： バカいえ！
Tora: Don’t be stupid!


かがり： あたしは人間とつるんでるあんたの手切りおとしてこと
別に悪いなんて思ってないからね。
Kagari: I hope you, who associate with humans, won’t hold it against me
that I cut your arm off.

とら： けっ、こっちだってあやまってもろおうなんて思ってねーや！
Tora: Keh, I don’t think that was much of an apology!

Raishin: Won’t you stop here, Kagari?

雷信： せっかくこの者らがやる気になっているのに水をさすな。
Raishin: You’ll throw water on all our work to get them to do this.

かがり： いいえ、言わせてよ　　雷信兄さん！
Kagari: No, I told you, Raishin-niisan!

かがり： 十郎兄さんがああなったのだって人間のせいじゃない！
Kagari: It’s not the humans’ fault that Juurou-niisan is like this!


かがり： 昔あたし達は人間が飛騨と呼ぶ地方にすんでたわ！
Kagari: Long ago, we lived alongside humans in the Hida region!


かがり： 湖のほとりの山々は、静かでいごこちのよい
あたし達の庭だった。
Kagari: In the mountains on the bank of the lake,
we had our quiet, cozy garden.

かがり： 人よりもずっと獣の数が多い　その地であたし達は仲良く暮らしていたのよ。
Kagari: We lived happily in that land where beasts outnumbered men.


かがり： 昔、人間はあたし達をおそれ、たがいになわばりを侵すことはなかったの。
Kagari: Long ago, humans feared us and neither of us invaded the others’ territory.


かがり： 十郎兄さんはね、あんなじゃないわ！。。。あんなじゃない。
人間の小指を切るのもためらう優しくてあたたかい妖怪だった。。。
Kagari: Juurou-niisan wasn’t like this! Not at all…
He was a kind, sweet youkai who hesitated even to cut a human’s pinky finger.


十郎： この山はいいなあ　かがり。
Juurou: Isn’t this mountain nice, Kagari?


十郎： オレは大好きだよ。
Juurou: I love it so much.


十郎： いつもすずしい風のあそぶブナ林もいいし、
Juurou: The cool wind always blowing through the beech trees is so nice.

十郎： 冷たい清水の湧いてるあの泉もいいなあ。
Juurou: So is the spring where cool blue water wells up.

Juurou: It would be nice to live forever and ever

十郎： 三人で暮らせたらいいなあ。
Juurou: Together with Raishin-niisan and Kagari.


かがり： それが。。。
Kagari: And then…


かがり： あたし達の哀しみは人間達の一存で決定した。
Kagari: Our grief came from a single human decision.


かがり： 雷信兄さんも十郎兄さんも抵抗したけど、
Kagari: Raishin-niisan and Juurou-niisan opposed them,


かがり： 人間達の鉄の機械にしょせん勝てるわけがなかった。。。
Kagari: But after all, there was no way they could win against the iron machines of the humans.

Kagari: After that… we began to move from place to place.

かがり： あたし達がどこに行っても人間達の鉄のにおいは容赦なく
あたし達を追い散らした。
Kagari: Wherever we went, the smell of human iron was unrelenting,
driving us away.


かがり： 追いたてられる度十郎兄さんは言ってたわ。
Kagari: Juurou-niisan said it every time we were driven away.


十郎： オレにもっと強い鎌があればなあ。
Juurou: If only my sickle were stronger.

十郎： もっと　もっと　強い鎌があればいいんだよなあ。
Juurou: I wish I had a much, much stronger sickle.

十郎： そうすれば。。。そうすればここから離れなくて。。。
Juurou: If I did… If I did, we wouldn’t have to leave this place…


かがり： あたしはむやみに殺し続ける十郎兄さんを見るのがつらいの。。。
殺さなきゃならないかもしれない。。。
。。。でも、
Kagari: I hate seeing this Juurou who keeps killing at random…
We may have to kill him…
But…

かがり： 心はいつだって兄さんの味方よ。
Kagari: In my heart, I will always be his friend.

Juurou: What can you say?

十郎： 「獣の槍」を持った人間でオレを殺そうとしたくせに。。。
Juurou: Since I killed the human who had the Beast Spear…

Kagari: Juurou-niisan, there must be another way besides killing humans!

かがり： あたし達と一緒にまた別のところは行って暮らしましょうよ、ねえ！
Kagari: Let’s go away and live in some other place together!

The humans will only follow us again!

Ushio: Here I come!


十郎： オレはそんなのイヤなんだよっ！
Juurou: I can’t stand this!


潮： こいつは強い。。。
強いけどこのままだときっともっともっと人を殺すんだ。
Ushio: He’s strong…
He’s strong but at this rate, he’ll kill a lot more people.


潮： 負けられない。絶対に負けないぞ。。。
Ushio: I can’t lose. I absolutely can’t lose this…

十郎： 本当の力でどうしてもオレを殺りたいようだなあ、人間！

Juurou: You want to kill me with that true power, don’t you, human!
So do my brother and Kagari!


雷信： 十郎！
Raishin: Juurou!


十郎： くそォォ　皆キライだ！
Juurou: Damn you, I hate you all!
