とら： あいつなんかわしのしったことかよ！
Tora: He’s got nothing to do with me!

これなるは座敷童。
Omamori-sama: Osa*, who governs the spirits of
the Toono mountains from top to bottom.
I am Zashikiwarashi.

オマモリサマ： 現在あまたの妖どもが追う蒼月潮の件に関し、
お願いに参りました。
Omamori-sama: I have come to make a request involving the matter
of the multitude of bakemono who are pursuing Aotsuki Ushio at present.


かがり： だっ大丈夫ですかっ、潮サマッ！？
Kagari: A-are you all right, Ushio-sama?

潮： ああ、おがげでな。。。はっ！
Ushio: Yeah, thanks to you. Ugh!

オレたちになおも刃向かうとは。
Youkai: W-what’s with these guys…
It’s just the three of them and they’re holding us off.


妖怪： だがもう少しだ。あと少しでこの憎いヤツらをぶち殺せる！
Youkai: Just a little more. Just a little more and we’ll be able to kill these wretches.


かがり： とら様はどう。。。されたのですか？
Kagari: Did something happen…to Tora-sama?

潮： さあな。。。はぐれたっきりだ。。。
どっかで油うってんだろ*！！
Ushio: Well… He wandered off somewhere…
He’s probably somewhere yammering on and on.

*the idiom translates to “selling oil” and means to spend a lot of time talking about nothing, which is what oil-salesmen used to do in old Japan

かがり： そんなコトありませんっ！
Kagari: That can’t be true!


かがり： 今に。。。今にきっと。。。
Kagari: Any minute now…surely, any minute now…


潮： とら。。。！
Ushio: Tora…!

一鬼： くくっ愚かなイタチどもよ。　もう動けまい。死んでゆくか。。。
Hitotsuki: Ku kuh Foolish Itachi. You can’t even move now. You’re going to die…

一鬼： しかしおまえらは年若いな。ここで提案しよう。
Hitotsuki: However, you’re both still young. Let’s make a deal here.


一鬼： 潮を殺せば許してやる。
Hitotsuki: Kill Ushio and all will be forgiven.


潮： ふーん、そりゃいーや。
Ushio: Fu-hn… It’s a good deal.


潮： ありがとよ、おまえらまでオレにつきあう必要ねえよな。。。
Ushio: Thanks guys, but there’s no need for you to go down with me…


雷信： 一鬼！われわれを獣ふぜいとあなどるな。
Raishin: Hitotsuki! Don’t insult us just because we’re shaped like beasts!


一鬼： そういうと思っていたわっ！
Hitotsuki: I thought that’s what you’d say!
