Hinowa: Uuuh.


潮： そうかい？じゃ、放してやらあ。
Ushio: Is that so? Well then, I’ll drop it.

婢妖： なにィ！？まさかあ自分の武器を人質にい！
Hiyou: What! You threw your weapon at the hostage!

ましてや白面の方の所までいきつけるとでも思っってるのかああ！！
Hiyou: You can’t hope to beat me now that you’ve thrown the Beast Spear away,
much less make it to Hakumen no Kata*!

*”Kata” is more honorific form than Mono

Hiyou: Hi heh heh, idiot!


潮： ふ。。。ふん。こうなっちゃまったらなァ、
Ushio: F…fuh. So it turned out this way…

潮： 「獣の槍」がなかろうが。。。
てめえらが何匹こようが。。。
Hiyou: Me without the Beast Spear…

潮： オレはいってみせらあ！！
Ushio: Just like I wanted!


とら： あーあ、ほんっとバカだなあ。
Tora: Jeez, he’s a real idiot.

とら： 槍なしでどーするつもりだよ～。
Tora: What was he intending to do without the Spear~


とら： あいつはいつもああだ。。。わしをめんどーにまきこむんだ。
Tora: He’s always like this… Getting me mixed up in this annoying crap.

Tora: Seems only human words will do for this…

そして、おまえの期待どーりのコトをしちまう、

Tora: You look like you were waiting for this!

Ushio: All right, you Hiyou are back together? If you can still convey a message after this,
tell this to the guy in charge!

Hiyou: Hi-hiyaaaa!


潮： オレはどんなことがあっても、おまえのトコにいってやるとなあ！
Ushio: No matter what happens to me, I’ll make it to him!

Tora: Oh, oh. The Hiyou are running home.

潮： わっ、びっくりしたあ！　くしだよ、くし！
落ちてんだよ。
Ushio: Wah, you scared me! It’s a comb, just a comb!
You dropped it.


潮： そのくしで闘うんだろ？　大事なんだろな。。。
Ushio: You fight with that comb, right? It must be important…


日輪： くしは念を集めるための道具よ。別にどうってことないわ。
Hinowa: The comb is just a tool to bring my focus together. It’s not anything special.


潮： オレも持ってんだぜ。
Ushio: I’ve got one too.

Hinowa: But don’t forget! It’s not that I cannot use it!

Tora: Jeez, this girl is even more obnoxious than Ushio!

日輪： いつかまた、その槍を返してもらいにいくわ！
その時までせいぜい大事にすることね！
Hinowa: You’ll come to return the Spear sometime later!

Hashiranobou (Pillar Boy)

極めてノーてんき、とにかく明るい妖怪。いつのまにか、家の柱が増えているという時は、
コイツが住みついた証拠である。
A thoughtless but cheerful youkai. When the pillars on your house suddenly increase,
it’s proof that you have one of them living with you.

しっぽの先でなんでも切り裂く。
Its skin is wood. It’s made of wood and can bring itself together.
It can breathe fire and the end of its tail can cut through anything.

潮： 木でできているモノとなら一体化できる木妖は、
家庭円満を目指す柱の坊をとりこみ、一匹の良い妖怪になりましてとさ。
とっぴんぱらりのぷう。
Ushio: Mokuyou, which is made of wood and can bring itself together,
captures Hashiranobou, whose aim is family happiness, and is turned into a good youkai.
