Yukibaba: Sa…Sanpitarakamui?


サンピタラ： 雪女、いやその昔、人であった時の名をとって、
朝霧と呼ぼうか。。。
Sanpitara: Yukionnna…No, long ago, among humans, you were called Asagiri*, weren’t you?

サンピタラ： おまえは己を追った、この街に復讐するといっておるそうだな。
Sanpitara: It seems you’re chasing them out and taking revenge on this city.


雪ババ： そうじゃ、私をこの街のこんな狭い建物に追いやった
人間どもを、凍りつかせてやるのじゃ！
Yukibaba: Yes! I’m going to freeze the humans that chased me out with their narrow buildings!

雪ババ： おだまり！サンピタラ、おだまり！！
Yukibaba: Silence! Sanpitara, silence!!


サンピタラ： それはこの時計台がまだ札幌濃学校の演武場であったころ、
札幌の琴平の近く中のよい夫婦がすんでおった。
Sanpitara: When this clock tower was still the martial exercise fields of the
Sapporo Agricultural School, there was a good couple near Kotohira,
near Sapporo.


サンピタラ： 夫は濃学校の教師―研究熱心だが妻思いの男だった。

哀しく去ってしまうという話さ。。。
Husband: It says they married but when he learned her true form, she sadly left him…
