法力の基本の「五行陰陽」の思想よ。

The basic ideology of houriki is “The Five Elements of Yin and Yang”.

日輪： 妖やそれが起こす超常現象を含めて、
森羅万象には五つの性質と法則がある。

including bakemono and other supernatural phenomenon.

日輪： すなわち　陰と陽二つの元となるものから生まれた
「木」・「火」・「土」・「金」・「水」・の五気。
Hinowa: So the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.
are the basis from which yin and yang are born.
日輪： そしてその法則のひとつ、木は根をのばし土をえぐり
土は水の流れを止め　水は火を消し　火は金（属）を溶かし
金（属）の斧は木を倒す。
ぐるぐるまわる強さと弱さ。。。

Earth arrests the flow of Water. Water douses Fire. Fire melts Metal.

Hinowa: When I first met you, I defeated the Hiyou, who had the essence of Wood,
with a Metal technique.

日輪： とらと戦った秋葉は、とらの雷―かみなりは「木」の性質―
を金属の錫杖でさばいた。
Hinowa: When Akiba fought Tora, Tora’s lightning had the essence of Wood.
Akiba used a metal staff.

日輪： いい？
Hinowa: You see?

日輪： 妖と戦うんでも、敵の性質に合わせたに戦いをしなきゃならないのよ。
Hinowa: You fight bakemono but you must know your enemy’s nature to match him in battle.


日輪： わからないでしょうね？
Hinowa: You don’t get it, right?

潮： うん。
Ushio: Right.


日輪： さて。。。ここは二階の北館。。。
―獣の槍を壊すとしたら。。。
Hinowa: Well then… This is the second floor of the north hall…
If they’re going to destroy the Beast Spear…

Hinowa: Other men are feckless, so I do it.

日輪： 戦いの才能があれば、男も女も関係ないんだ。
Hinowa: If you have the ability to fight, it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman.

日輪： 二度とはいわぬ！私を女だと思ってなめないことね。
Hinowa: Don’t say it again! Don’t underestimate me just because you think of me as a girl.

日輪： 君はただ、だまってついてくればいいの。私が獣の槍を
とり返してあげる。　そして、そこで正統伝承者を決めるのよ。
Hinowa: It’d be best if you just shut up all together. I’ll get the Beast Spear back.
And that will decide who the real Chosen One is.


潮： ちくしょ～何かいい返してー　けど、日輪が強いのは本当だもんな～
Ushio: Dammit~ I wanna say something back but… Hinowa’s really strong~
