おばあさま： お外堂さんをお祭りしとる家はずーっとその家をまもうて
くださるんじゃ。
Oobaasama: The house that holds an Ogedou-san will always be protected by it.

おばあさま： おまえに最後のお外堂さんを持たす。
Oobaasama: I give ya the village’s last Ogedou-san.

おばあさま： わしら設楽の里の５０年来の心残りをかたづけとくれ。
Oobaasama: Ya must bring a close to the 50-year-old regret of Shidara Village.

Oobaasama: We of Shidara Village have lived in these mountains for generations,
enshrining Ogedou-san…

おばあさま： あの戦争を境にあの家から二匹この家から五匹というように、
Oobaasama: Two from that house and five from this house
were lost in battles at the borders…

おばあさま： だんだんにおらんようになってしもうた。
Oobaasama: And gradually there came to be fewer and fewer.

おばあさま： そして残って二匹のうち、一匹が東京ではぐれ、
残ったのがここにおるだけじゃ。
Oobaasama: And now there are only two. There are only the one
that was lost in Toukyou and the one that remains here.

おばあさま： ええか水乃緒。。。しくじるんじゃないぞ。。。
必ずやあのはぐれたお外堂さんを、このお外堂さんで。。。

なっとるかわからん。

人： はぐらさんがおる学校には転校の手続きはすんどるけん。
Person: We’ve made preparations for you to go to the school
where the lost one is as a transfer student.

人： そ、そんな。。。お外堂さんをそんなふうにゆうたらマズイっすよ。
Person: I…I don’t think…ya can deal with Ogedou-san so easily.

人： そ、そうですよ、水乃緒サン。
Person: Y-yeah, he’s right.

水乃緒： ほう、この辺のガッコをしきっとるあたしに説教か？
Minoo: Hmm, ya’re lecturin’ me to stay in the village school?

人： ス。。。スイマセン。。。
Person: I-I’m sorry…

When we glorified them, the village prospered.
Because we did, their atrocities toward humans’ve been glossed over.

住んどる箱を見るのは初めてじゃ。

This is the first time I heard of an Ogedou livin’ in one.

水乃緒： この設楽の里に一匹しかおらんお外堂さんよ。
Minoo: There’s only one Ogedou-san left in Shidara Village.

人： そんであのはぐれたお外堂さんを。。。
Person: And the lost Ogedou-san?

水乃緒： ああ。。。５０年前、こっから女が持ち出して
そのまんま野放しにした危険なお外堂さん。。。
Minoo: Yep. 50 years ago, a woman took it from here.
The dangerous Ogedou-san has been left at large since then.

水乃緒： それを殺すなんて後始末を、お外堂さんのあつかいに
長けたっちゅうだけで押し付けられるあたしが、

Minoo: I’ll kill it and have it settled, since I’m the only one who’s proficient
in handlin’ the Ogedou-san…
