*The Story So Far*

ある日、オレのもとへ、ボロボロになった遠野妖怪のリーダー・一鬼と、
鎌鼬の雷神・かがり、イズナが現れ、いきなり加勢を頼まれる。
One day, the battered Toono youkai (Izuna, the Kamaitachi Raishin and Kagari, and their leader Hitotsuki) suddenly appeared on my doorstep to ask for my help.

ワケを聞くと、どうやらただごとではないらしく、東と西の妖群の間で
白面の者をめぐり、長同士が対立。
Listening to their story, I realized it was no small business, but a confrontation between the Osa of the East and the West concerning Hakumen no Mono.

獣の槍と人間を信じて待つという東の遠野の長に対し、どちらも信じられぬ
西の長・神野は、妖への総攻撃を主張。結界自在妖「間槌」を使い、オレの
母ちゃんが張る結界を壊し、白面を倒すという。今、日本は沈む！
It’s the Eastern Osa of Toono, who believes in the Beast Spear and humans and is willing to wait, against the Western Osa Shinno, whose aim is to take his bakemono to strike at Hakumen no Mono. Using the barrier-creating bakemono Maduchi, they want to break my mother’s barrier and destroy Hakumen. But then Japan will sink!

そんな無謀な攻撃をやめさせ、神野に捕らえられた長を救出するため、
オレたちは西の陣地へ向かった。。。！！
We’re headed toward the Western encampment to save the Osa, captured by Shinno, and stop this reckless attack!!

侵入を許すとは。。。
Ibuki: Strange… that we should be allowed to enter the sky mansion so easily…

イズナ： 瀬戸内上空で迎撃されただけだもんな。。。
Izuna: We were only intercepted in the air above Seto…

イズナ： ワナか。。。
Izuna: Is it a trap?

威吹： ここは西の妖どもの要塞だ！
Ibuki: This is the Western bakemono stronghold!

威吹： 内部にはからくりワナが仕掛けてある。。。
Ibuki: There will be automatic traps set within.

イズナ： 入り込むのもの慎重にしないとな。。。
Izuna: We’ll have to be cautious when we enter.

イズナ： 中でヤツらが待ちうけてるとなると。。。
Izuna: There must be others waiting inside.

威吹： 長の監禁されているのはおそらく一番上の間であろうが、
Ibuki: They must be holding the Osa in the highest part.

威吹： そこに行くのも難しいということだ。。。
Ibuki: It will be difficult to make our way there.

イズナ： 三人のうち誰かが囮になるか。。。
Izuna: Should one of the three of us act as a decoy?

イズナ： こっそりってのは、この際ムリみてえだな。
Izuna: Trying to sneak in won’t really work in this situation.

威吹： 西の妖どもがどう出るか？
Ibuki: Where will the Western bakemono come from?

イズナ： 用心しないとな！
Izuna: We must be on our guard!

Izuna: Indeed! This is rash action!

潮： 待ちぶせてる！ワナもあるかもしんねえ！
Ushio: There going to ambush us! And there are probably traps!

潮： そういう時はガンガン行くの！！
Ushio: At times like this, you just have to go in screaming!

威吹： 何いっとるのだ？
Ibuki: What is he talking about?

イズナ： うしお短期だな～
Izuna: Ushio’s a bit impatient~

威吹： おい待て。。。
Ibuki: Oi, wait-

潮： おめえらはここにいるんだな！オレは行くぜ！
Ushio: You two can stay here but I’m going!

潮： と。。。
Ushio: All r-

潮： うわあああ～！
Ushio: UWAAAH!

威吹： 何やっとるんだあいつは？
Ibuki: What is he doing?

イズナ： うしお。。。人間だったっけ。。。
Izuna: Ushio’s a human being…

潮： フツーの屋敷じゃね。。。
Ushio: This is no ordinary mansion…

Ushio: W-what is this place!?

イズナ： うしお　あぶねえっ！
Izuna: Ushio, watch out!

Ushio: Don’t stand there all cool and shocked!

潮： ワナは全部オレがひきつけてやらァ。。。
Ushio: I can take care of all the traps …

潮： さ、てっぱんに行こーぜ！
Ushio: Now, let’s go! We’ll make it for sure!

とら： 一気に突っこむぜ！つかまってろ！
Tora: We’ll go in all at once! Hold on!

雷信： は！
Raishin: Right!

かがり： 待ってください！
Kagari: Wait!

雷信： 西のヤツらかっ　かがり？
Raishin: Is it the Westerners, Kagari?

かがり： いいえ。。。何か。。。感じた。。。
ことのない。。。感じ。。。
Kagari: No…I feel…something…

とら： 力を出せなくしちまう！
Tora: I can’t use any of my powers!

とら： 結界！

雷信： ということはこれが一鬼のいっていた。。。
Raishin: This must be what Hitotsuki was talking about-

とら： うおおおお！
Tora: Uooooh!

一鬼： おのれ。。。ここまでかよ。。。
ど。。。どうりで神野め。。。自信満々のはずだ。。。
Hitotsuki: Damn it…it’s here…
No wonder…that damned Shinno…was so sure of himself…

一鬼： まさか。。。こんなに。。。いやがるとはな。。。
Hitotsuki: I can’t believe…it can do all this…

Ushio: Just a little more to the top…

イズナ： うしおー　全部一人でやることねーのによう。
Izuna: Ushio, you didn’t do it all alone, you know.

潮： へっ。。。ここまで来るのに一匹も妖でなかったろ！
Ushio: Heh… There hasn’t been a single bakemono this whole way!

潮： 今にいっぱい出やがった時のために、休んどいてくれよ。
Ushio: I’m resting up for when they all pop out to get us.

イズナ： うしお。。。
Izuna: Ushio…

Ushio: Be careful.

潮： ふ～　やっとたいうになった。
Ushio: Phew~ I can finally stand up.

威吹： おい、人間。
Ibuki: Oi, human.

潮： なんだよ、オレはうしおだっつーの！
Ushio: What? And the name’s Ushio!

威吹： おまえは長を好きだといった。
Ibuki: You said you like the Osa.

威吹： 。。。好きだから助けたいと。。。
それはどういう意味だ？
Ibuki: …You like him, so you want to save him…
What does that mean?

潮： ああ？おまえ「好き」ってコトわからんの？
Ushio: Huh? You don’t know what “like” means?

威吹： 自分らカラス天狗は、使命を為すためにこの世に生じた。
長をお護りし、山を護る。
Ibuki: We Karasu Tengu exist in this world to carry out missions.
To protect the Osa. To protect the mountains.

威吹： 好きとか嫌いでは行動せぬ。
おまえの行動が理解できない。
Ibuki: We neither like nor hate.
I cannot understand your behavior.

Ushio: Sorry! I don’t really understand it myself.

潮： でも、無表情な威吹でも疑問に思ったりすんだなァ～
Ushio: But even expressionless Ibuki thinks of these questions?

潮： そういうトコロって「好き」だぜ。
Ushio: I “like” that.

威吹： 答えになってないな。
Ibuki: You did not answer my question.

潮： ゴメナさいねえ。
Ushio: Well, soooory!

Shinno: I am the Western Osa, Shinno.

神野： 自ら試させてもらおう。
Shinno: And I’d like to try it out myself.
