イズナ： ああ。。。間にあわなかった。。。
西のヤツら白面を攻撃しちまったよ～

とら： けっ、それでもいいじゃねーかよ！　どうせ、いつかはやるんだ。

白面： 我は一度とて忘れたことはない！
忘るるものか！
Hakumen: I haven’t forgotten a moment!
Have you!?

白面： 幾星霜の時を経ても、何千何万の人間や妖を滅したとしても。。。
Hakumen: Though a long time has passed,
though I’ve destroyed uncountable humans and bakemono…

潮： あっ、頭の中にガンガン響く！
何だ！？白面の者は何をいおうとしてる？
Ushio: Ah! It’s pounding in my head!
What!? What is Hakumen no Mono saying?

白面： 我はあの時のことを忘るるものか！！
Hakumen: I won’t forget what happened before!!

白面： 我は白面の者、
―あれは二千三百年も前のことよ。。。
Hakumen: I, Hakumen no Mono,
over 2300 years ago,

白面： この国ではないほかの処でだ。
Hakumen: I was not in this country but elsewhere.

白面： 我はたわむれにまたひとつ、国を潰した。
Hakumen: I was crushing another country for sport.

白面： その国の皇后に化け、内から国を腐らせてやるつもりだったが
気がかわった。
Hakumen: Changing into the country’s empress, I planned to rot it from the inside
but changed my mind.

白面： その国の王が小賢しくも我を倒そうとしてのだ！
Hakumen: The emperor of that country was clever and tried to defeat me!

白面： 即座にその国もろとも、死を与えてやったがな。
人間の苦しみを我の喜び！それ自体はいつもの事だった。
Hakumen: I granted him and his country death on the spot.
Human misery is my joy! It had always been so.

白面： 我はその地を後にした。
Hakumen: I left that land behind

白面： 次はどの国をそう滅ぼしてやろうかと想いながら。
Hakumen: As I wondered which country to annihilate next.

白面： 行く先々で妖どもを殺しながら、
一昼夜ほども飛んだろうか。
Hakumen: I flew for a night and day,
killing bakemono as I went.

白面： 何かが。。。
来る。。。
Hakumen: Something is
coming…

白面： 遥か遠くから。。。
Hakumen: From far in the distance…

白面： 我を目指して。。。
Hakumen: It has its sights on me…

白面： 妖か？
Hakumen: A bakemono?

白面： いや、
違う。。。
Hakumen: No,
it’s different…

白面： 何か。。。
もっと。。。
別の力―
Hakumen: Something
with a different
kind of power…

白面： いずれにしても、
我の尾ひとつで砕いてくれるわ！
Hakumen: In any case,
I will crush it with a single tail!

白面： 我は少しも疑わなかった。。。
Hakumen: I had no doubt…

白面： だが。。。
Hakumen: But…

白面： 何！？
Hakumen: What!?

白面： 信じられなかった。。。人間の武器も妖の牙も
通らぬ我の尾が一撃でやられたのだ！
Hakumen: I couldn’t believe it… my tail,
which can be harmed by neither human weapon or bakemono fang, was attacked!

白面： 出でよ　くらぎ！
Hakumen: Come forth, Kuragi!

白面： 何だ！？　向こうから何か来ている！！
Hakumen: What!? Something’s coming from the other side!!

白面： こんなことは始めてだった。。。
この国の生成から存在するこの白面にとって。。。。
Hakumen: That was the first time…
Since the creation of this country, I have existed…

白面： おのれ！
Hakumen: Damn you!

白面： 我が三つの尾すらー
Hakumen: Even with three of my tails-

白面： その「何か」の進行を止めることはー
Hakumen: I could not stop the advance

白面： できなかったのだ！
Hakumen: of that “something”!

白面： 何だ？
Hakumen: What?

白面： 五つの我の尾を破り、なおも進んでくる！
この気配は何だ！？
Hakumen: It’s destroyed five of my tails and it’s still coming!
What is this presence!?

白面： 我に「本能」などというものがあるなら。。。
Hakumen: I have instincts…

白面： その「本能」が大きく造けていた「止まるな！」とー
Hakumen: And those instincts screamed at me not to stop-

白面： そうだ　あの時。。。
Hakumen: Yes, that time…

白面： あの時こそ、我がこの世に生まれ出でて初めて
あの感情を持った時だった！
忌まわしきー

白面： あれが妖ならこれで止まらぬわけはない！
Hakumen: If it’s a bakemono then I can stop it!

白面： 何でも溶かす「酸」の尾と！
妖の弱み鉄の尾よ！

And bakemono are weak against my iron tail!

鉄の尾をもものともしなかった！
Hakumen: The thing
went through my iron tail like nothing!

白面： 何なのだいったい！？
Hakumen: What the hell is it!?

白面： 我は忘れぬ。。。
その物が我にもたらした感情を。。。
Hakumen: I’ll never forget…
The feeling it gave me…

白面： あの感情。。。
Hakumen: The feeling of…

Hakumen: I screamed without thinking!

二本！！
Hakumen: All I had left
was two tails!!

白面： その槍は止まっていた！
Hakumen: I had stopped the spear!

白面： 最期の尾。。。我が鉛に変えようとしていた尾で。。。
かろうじて止まっていた。
Hakumen: The final tail I turned to lead and caught the spear in it.

白面： 我はその尾を噛み切った！
Hakumen: Then I bit off that tail!

白面： そして我の尾ごとその槍をその場に残しー
我は逃げたのだ！
Hakumen: I left the spear behind, wrapped in my tail-
And I ran!

白面： 我はー逃げたのだ！
Hakumen: I…ran away!

白面： この我―すべてを呪い　すべてを滅するために在る。。。
白面の者が！
Hakumen: I, who curse everything! I, who exist to destroy everything…
I, Hakumen no Mono!

白面： 直接戦うこともせず！恐怖し、逃げたのだ！！
Hakumen: I could not fight it! I was afraid and I ran away!!

白面： だが今はちがう！　今の我は当時の百倍も千倍も
人や妖を殺し、恐怖させ、
万倍も億倍も強くなったのだからな！
こうやって獣の槍を前にしてもそれを叩き潰す喜びしか感じぬ！
Hakumen: But this time will be different! I have killed hundreds and thousands of
humans and bakemono since then, gained the fear and become
ten-thousand and a hundred-thousand times stronger!
And now, I can stand before the Beast Spear and feel only the joy of crushing it!

Tora: Muh!

潮： 神野。。。
早く逃げろ！
Ushio: Shinno…
Hurry, run!

潮： と。。。ら。。。押さえ。。。られそうもねえぜ。。。
Ushio: To…ra…I can’t…control it.

とら： うしお！まさか。。。おめえ？
Tora: Ushio! It can’t be… You’re-

潮： そうさ。。。
Ushio: Yes…
