紫暮： この「特殊災害対策室」設立時以来ですな。
Shigure: It’s been since this “Special Counter-Disaster Unit” was established.

紫暮： 愚息が空でお世話になったのを知ったのもその時です。。。
いやはや、失礼いたしました。
Shigure: I know of the time you took care of my idiot son in the sky…

妖怪による事件の処理に当たっていようとはな。。。
Shigure: The “Special Counter-Disaster Unit”, pieced from the Environmental Agency,
Japanese Defense Agency, and the JSDF, deals with trouble involing youkai…

厚沢： 自衛官である自分も、あの事件後この別室に来るまで、
その存在さえしりませんでしたから。。。
Atsuzawa: I had no idea of its existence until I transferred here
from the JSDF after my experience on the plane.

紫暮： うむ。。。
Shigure: Hmm…

紫暮： 昔から、我が光覇明宗の法力僧達と国の連絡は、
密にあった。
Shigure: From long ago, we’ve kept the connection between the hourikisou
of Kouhamei Sect and the country a secret.

紫暮： －妖の活動の規模の小ささと、数の少なさで、
対応は光覇明宗だけに任されていた。。。
The scale of bakemono activity is small and reports are few in number,
so they’ve left it to the Kouhamei Sect alone…

紫暮： だが、近年白面の者の胎動ともとに増加した妖の災害に、
Shigure: However, in recent years, with the quickening of Hakumen no Mono,
the disasters involving youkai have increased,

紫暮： 国もついに「特殊災害対策室」を設け、光覇明宗と協力し、
妖怪対策を強化した。
Shigure: Finally, the country established the “Special Counter-Disaster Unit”,
in cooperation with the Kouhamei Sect, to strengthen our measures against youkai.

紫暮： すでに無視できぬ、
来たるべき白面の者との。。。
Shigure: The coming of Hakumen no Mono was
too far gone to ignore…

紫暮： 最期の戦いに向けて。。。
Shigure: We face the final battle…

Atsuzawa: Yessir.

厚沢： 「H・A・M・M・R」という機関を、
ご存知ですか？
Atsuzawa: Do you know of the organization called “HAMMR”?

紫暮： 。。。「ハマー」と呼ばれる。。。アメリカさんの
技術協力集団。。。
Shigure: The Americans’ Technological Co-op Group…that “HAMMR”?

紫暮： そうです。我々は妖怪を科学的に分析し、
それに効力のある兵器を開放するために、
アメリカに技術援助を頼み、彼らが派遣されたのです。
Shigure: Yes. We send requests to America for technical assistance
to gauge the effectiveness of our weapons and for scientific
analysis of youkai.

紫暮： 今じゃすっかりアメリカさんお及び腰になって、
Shigure: Now, the Amercians have become rather indecisive about it,

紫暮： 「ハマー」機関はすっかり規模縮小されたと聞いたが。。。
Shigure: I’ve heard HAMMR’s scale had been reduced…

厚沢： 。。。その「ハマー」が。。。
Atsuzawa: …this HAMMR…

Atsuzawa: Due to their overly-analytical nature,

Atsuzawa: Working to perfect Kirlian Oscillation Theory.

思想家にして心理研究学、超心理学の権威。
Atsuzawa: Dr. Marco Pavroti.
Mental study of thought, an authority on parapsychology.

厚沢： 彼らの率いる「ハマー機関」は、対白面の者を
最終目標にした兵器づりを、我が国の技術者と共同で行なうはすでした。
Atsuzawa: As the leaders of HAMMR, they worked to create arms that would eventually
work against Hakumen no Mono, sharing our country’s technology.

厚沢： それが、いつしか研究の対象が妖から。。。
より具体的なものへと。。。移っていったのです。
Atsuzawa: But their focus has switched from researching their bakemono subjects…
to something more…concrete.

Marco: We are researching ways to destroy Hakumen no Mono.

マルコ： 成果はあまり良くないわ。－理由は。。。
Marco: Our results have not been very good. The reason being…

マルコ： 君らのいう「バケモノ」。。。超―形態の情報不足からくるものだ。
Marco: There’s an insufficient amount of information about Metamorphose-
what you call “bakemono”.

マルコ： 本国から帰還命令が出ているが、このままでは納得がいかない。
Marco: We’ve been commanded back to our own country,
however, we cannot consent to leave this as it is.

マルコ： よって我々は、
君らに協力してもらうことにした。
Marco: We’ve decided to gain your cooperation.

ヘレナ： 君と「けもののやり」と、もう一つにね。
Helena: Yours, your “Beast Spear’s”, and that of one other.

潮： もう一つ。。。？
Ushio: One other?

ヘレナ： 最近、君は白面と交戦したらしい。。。
「やり」の刃の表面に白面の対組織の一部が
少しでも付着していれば。。。
Helena: It seems you recently battled with Hakumen…
