バル： その姿じゃきっと何かのまちがいで迷いこんじゃったんでしょう？
ここにいると、捕まっちゃうよ。

バル： ぼくは、日本語でいう「妖怪」だよ。
Bal: I’m what you Japanese call a “youkai”.

バル： バルトアンデルズっていう妖怪なんだ。
お姉ちゃんの５０倍は長く生きてるよ。
Bal: I’m a Baldanders youkai. I’ve lived 50 times as long as you, Oneechan.

麻子： そのコードは? ここは。。。？
Asako: What are those cords? What is this place?

バル： ここは妖怪のことを研究する所なんだ。
ヨーロッパで捕まって、ぼくもここに連れてこられたの。
Bal: They study youkai in this place. I was captured in Europe and brought here.

バル： 本当は、古い城の塔で眠っていたかったんだけどね。。。
Bal: I was just sleeping in the tower of an old castle…

バル： まさか。。。ぼくは変身できるだけだよ。

麻子： まったく何てトコよ。
断然あたし怒ったわ！！
Asako: For them to do such a thing!

麻子： うしおを誘拐するわ、こんな小さいおばけを捕まえてるわ！
Asako: First they kidnap Ushio and now these people are imprisoning such a little obake!

バル： 仕方ないよ。あの人間達にはかなわないんだから。。。
Bal: There’s nothing to be done. It doesn’t matter to them…

麻子： よくないっ！
Asako: It’s not okay!

麻子： どんなに力を待ってたって、どんな目的を持ってたって、
絶対によくない！
Asako: No matter how strong they are or what their aim is,
it’s totally not okay!

麻子： あなたを出してあげる！出る方法わかる？
Asako: I’m getting you out of here! Do you know how to get out?

バル： う、うん。
Bal: Y-yes.

バル： ―まず、壁のキルリアン安定制御盤の前に立って、
右のボタンを。。。
Bal: First, hit the right button on the front of the Kirlian Oscillator control panel on the wall.

麻子： うん！
Asako: Got it!

人： 電圧2万ボルト。以降、同電圧くり返します。
Person: That’s 20,000 volts. Next, we’ll repeat at the same voltage.

二コラス： よし、やってくれたまえ。
Nicholas: Good, do it.

ニコラス： 。。。やはり反応なしか。霊槍、獣の槍を持つ者なら
キルリアン反応を見せても良いものを。。。
Nicholas: Absolutely no reaction. The spirit spear and the one who weilds it
should show some Kirlian Reaction…

マルコ： 結局、大した霊的な力はないのかもな。。。
Marco: Perhaps it has no real spiritual power at all…

人： 獣の槍に電流を通しても、あの赤い布すら反応しない。
Person: Even after we passed electricity through the Spear of the Beast,
there was no reaction in the red cloth.

There’s still so much unknown to us.

ヘレナ： そう結論する前に、あの子が、本当に獣の槍の伝承者なのか、

Helena: Before we conclude, we must confirm that the boy is the real Chosen
of the Spear of the Beast!

マルコ： 解剖してみる前にそれを確かめ、戦闘の記録をとってみるか。。。
Marco: Before we try dissection, should we see if we can confirm it through a battle simulation?

ニコラス： そうだな。戦わせてみよう。
Nicholas: Good idea. Try making him fight.

先に行っててくれ。私は、白面の者の体組織増殖の方を見てゆく。

バル： はははってお姉ちゃん。。。本当にぼくが怖くないの？

おばけにもいいおばけがいるの知ってるんだ。
Asako: Well,
I know there are good obake out there.

バル： その指の毛の？
Bal: What’s that hair on your finger?

麻子： そうよ。うしおをみつけてこの毛をひっぱったら、
とらくんが来てくれるんだって。
Asako: Oh, yeah. When we find Ushio, I’ll pull on this hair and Tora-kun will come.

バル： すごいよ。。。その毛を身につけてたら、
お姉ちゃん、見つからずにここまで来れたんだよ。
Bal: Amazing! If you carry that hair, Oneechan,
he’ll come if you’re caught.

麻子： それを～　あいつらとらくんに何したと思う？
Asako: Yeah~ Wonder what they’d think of Tora-kun!?

バル： お姉ちゃんはよく怒るねえ。
Bal: You really are angry, Oneechan.

バル： ここには、怒り方を忘れちゃったヒトがいっぱいいるのに。。。
Bal: There are many here that have forgotten how to get angry…

麻子： とーんでもない。うしおやとらくんの方が、
よっぽどひどく怒るのよ！
Asako: No way! Ushio and Tora-kun get really, really ticked off!

Asako: Whoa, like demons!

バル： 強いの？あの人間達よりも？
Bal: Are they strong? Stronger than these humans?

麻子： きっとね。

とら： せめて、あそこにある「てれぴん」でもうつりゃあな。。。

とら： あの人間どもはわしの毛で作ったニセのあの女を連れてった。。。

Tora: They took away that hair-copy girl I made…

TV: Tora-kun.

Tora: Huh?

テレビ： 君に確認するために、現在別室で行なわれている、

TV: So you understand, we’re showing you an image of the battle test that is currently
taking place in another room.

アオツキ・ウシオにまちがいないか。
TV: He bears the Spear of the Beast, he controls you with that power,
and he’s destroyed many, many Metamorphose.
That is Aotsuki Ushio, correct?

とら： げひゃひゃひゃひゃ！！
Tora: Geh hya hya hya hya!!

とら： 今さら何いってんだ、クソボケ！
わしを支配してるってのァ気に入らねえし、
Tora: What are you idiots talking about!?
I’m not happy with him controlling me,

とら： ちょーなんとかってのも知らねえが。。。
ほかにあんなマヌケ面いるかよ！
ToraL But you’ve got no idea what you’re talking about…
Besides, look at that stupid look on his face!

テレビ： ウシオくん、これは白面の者に対する兵器をつくるのに
必要な試験なのだ。本気で戦いなさい。
Marco: Ushio-kun, this is a necessary test in order to build a weapon
against Hakumen no Mono. Please fight seriously.

テレビ： 君の大切な友達が、こちらに忘れないでくれたまえ。
Marco: Please don’t forget that your very good friend is here.

ウシオ： ばかやろう。電流でヘロヘロなんだよ！
Ushio: You jackass, I’m still exhausted from being electrocuted!

人： ケストラー博士、白面の者の体組織増殖の準備できました。
Person: Dr. Koestler, we’re ready to multiply the Hakumen no Mono tissue.

ニコラス： はじめてくれ。
Nicholas: You can start.

ニコラス： 獣の槍表面から採取した、白面の微小な体組織に、
ほかの超―形態の組織を加え。。。
Nicholas: We add different Metamorphose tissue to that of Hakumen we harvested
from the surface of the Spear of the Beast.

ニコラス： それを低い電流で刺激し続ける。
Nicholas: Then we keep stimulating this with a weak electrical charge.

ニコラス： そうすると、白面の体組織は、次第に活性化し、
Nicholas: Through this, the Hakumen tissue should gradually be stimulated,

ニコラス： 我々の研究を進めるのに必要なだけ増殖してゆく。
Nicholas: Then we can increase it as we need it as our experiments go on.

人： ですが、博士。　危険はありませんか？
Person: But, doctor, isn’t this dangerous?

問題はない。
Nicholas: This experiment is between two Kirlian Oscillators.
There won’t be a problem.

ニコラス： ７分20秒増殖順調。
Nicholas: 7 minutes 20 seconds into multiplication, doing well.

ニコラス： 素晴らしい！　これで我々は白面に大きく近づいたのだ。
Nicholas: Wonderful! With this, we’ll learn so much about Hakumen.

バル： ここはもう重要研究区画だから、
人はあんまりいないんだ。
Bal: This is an area for very important experiments,
so there aren’t many humans around.

バル： ここをぬけたところが、人を捕まえておく区画だから、
うしおって人もそこにいると思うよ。
Bal: This is the area where they keep people, so I think this Ushio person will be here.
