苦しめられておる村に通りかかり。。。

おじいちゃん： その正体が怪物であることを見破って、
Grandpa: The monk saw that the god was really a monster,

おじいちゃん： しっぺい太郎という犬と一緒に怪物を退治したっていうお話さ。
Grandpa: And the story goes that he and a dog called Shippeitarou exterminated the monster.

おじいちゃん： そして。。。その人身御供の選ばれ方が。。。
Grandpa: And, well…the way they chose the human sacrifice…

おじいちゃん： その者の家に白羽の矢げつき立つというものだったんだ。。。
