白面を倒すためには、獣の槍の力だけでなく、オレが強靭な精神力を持たねばならず、
鏢と訓練を開始.
So that I won’t rely solely on the power of the Beast Spear to defeat Hakumen, I need to have a strong mind and will, so Hyou started to train me.

そこへ突じょ、とらそっくりの妖“字伏”が飛来。さらに黒いとら“紅煉”が出現。。。
ヤツこそ、鏢が長年追い続けていた敵。
All of a sudden, these “Azafuse”, who looks just like Tora, fly in. Then this black Tora called “Guren” appeared. He’s the enemy Hyou’s been following all these years!

そして鏢が語った驚くばく事実。紅煉ら字伏達は、かつて獣の槍を操っり、魂を吸い取られ
変化した人間だったこと。字伏達の出現は白面復活の印であること。その字伏抹殺を条件
に復活したのが強敵・紅煉。。。すると、とらも元は人間なのか？
Then Hyou revealed a startling fact. Guren and the other Azafuse were all formerly humans who’d had their souls consumed while wielding the Beast Spear. The Azafuse’s appearance mark the resurrection of Hakumen. This powerful new enemy, Guren, was resurrected to kill the rest of the Azafuse… Does this mean Tora was originally human too!?

鏢も去り、不安が募るなか迎えた始業式の日。麻子と帰宅途中、突然、
オレを見る麻子の様子に変化が。。。！？
Hyou left and I was facing the day of opening ceremonies with an increasing sense of unease.

潮： こんにゃろおどかすんじゃねえーよっ。
最近皆そーなんだからよっ！
Ushio: Damn it! You’re not going to fool me.

麻子： 何よ。。。大声出して。。。
そんな名前聞いたこともないわよ。。。
Asako: Why are you yelling?
I’ve never heard that name before.

潮： お。。。おい　ちょっと待てよ、麻子。。。

失礼だと思わないの！？
Asako: Don’t call me so familiarly! Don’t you think it’s rude to call someone you’ve just met
without “san”!?

潮： 初めて会った。。。だ！？
Ushio: Someone…you’ve just met!?

潮： ちょっと待てよ、麻。。。
Ushio: Wait a second, Asa-

厚池： おい、
気をつけろよ。
Atsuike: Oi,
watch out!

潮： あ、すんまさん。。。
なんだ横尾、厚池！
Ushio: Oh, sorry-
Hey, Yokoo! Atsuike!

潮： 聞いてくれよ、中村がおかしーんだよ！

Ushio: Listen. Something’s wrong with Nakamura!

Stop screwing with me!

横尾： あっ、おい　やめろっ。
Yokoo: Ah! Oi, quit it!

潮： 中村と組んでオレをだますつもりかよ！ちくしょう。
Ushio: Are you in on this with Nakamura to mess with me? Screw you!

厚池： だからおまえなんて知らねえっていってるだろっ。
Atsuike: I told you I don’t know who you are!

横尾： いいかげんにしろよっ！！
Yokoo: I’ve had enough!!

横尾： 何いってんだ、こいつ？
Yokoo: What’s he talking about?

潮： おまえら本当にオレのコト、忘れちまったのかよ。
Ushio: You guys have really forgotten me!?

横尾： ヘンなヤツー行こーぜ。
Yokoo: What a weirdo. Let’s go.

潮： 何が変だぞ！どうしてもわかんねーよ。
Ushio: Something’s wrong! I just can’t figure it out.

潮： 何で麻子も厚池も横尾もオレを忘れるだよ！
Ushio: Why have Asako, Atsuike, and Yokoo all forgotten me?

潮： ゴメン、おばさん。麻子帰ってる？

父： おっとっと！
Father: Hold on a minute!

父： おまえさん、行儀悪いよ。
Father: You’ve got some bad manners there.

Ushio: Ojisan?

父： 誰かわからんけど、初めての家に上がる時は
あいさつしなきゃな！
Father: I don’t know who you are but you’re supposed to
greet someone the first time you come into their home!

母： あらあら麻子の友達かい。。。
Mother: Oh my, are you one of Asako’s friends?

母： 見ないカオだね。
Mother: I haven’t seen you before.

麻子： 何よ。。。こんなところまでついて来て。。。
Asako: What the-? You followed me here?

潮： 麻子。。。本当にオレ知らんのかよ。。。
Ushio: Asako! You really don’t know me?

潮： 蒼月。。。潮。。。
Ushio: Aotsuki….Ushio…

麻子： 知らないっていってるでしょ！
Asako: I told you I don’t know you!

麻子： 帰りなさいよっ。
Asako: Go away!

Ushio: Sorry….I must be mistaken.

潮： ゴメン。。。おじさん。。。ゴメン。。。。
Ushio: Sorry… Ojisan… Sorry…

Father: Wait up.

父： 食っていきな。
Father: Have this.

潮： え？
Ushio: Huh?

母： うちの人、若いコがしょげてると弱いのよ。
Mother: He has a soft spot for disheartened youngsters.

父： 麻子にフラれたんだよな。。。
ま、それ食って元気だしな。
Father: You’ve gotten the cold shoulder from Asako, huh?
Well, eat something and you’ll feel better.

父： 残念ながら縁がなかったと思って、あきらめとくんな。

Shinno: Yes. The Gouyou* “Hinoe”.

*Gouyou= Strong/Great Bakemono Hinoe= “Brother of Fire”

神野： 獣の槍を封じておった赤い織布は、妖が一本一本の糸に
変化して、それを織ったものであった。
Shinno: The strip of cloth that seals the Beast Spear was made from bakemono
transforming one by one into threads and then wrapping around it.

神野： それと同じく剛妖「火の兄」は。。。
Shinno: The Gouyou “Hinoe” is made the same way.

神野： 多数の妖の体から成る強力な巨大妖だ。
Shinno: A powerful daiyoukai made from the bodies of many bakemono.

神野： まさに東西の妖の力の結晶。。。
Shinno: A perfect crystallization of the power of the Eastern and Western bakemono.

神野： 我々西の妖は次に白面の者とまさえる者とまさえる時、
もう敗北するわけにはいかないのじゃ。。。
Shinno: The next time we Western bakemono face Hakumen no Mono,
we don’t mean to be defeated again.

長： 東の妖とてもそれは同じだろうよ。。。西の。。。
Osa: We Eastern bakemono are of the same mind, West.

神野： ああ　そうじゃったな　東の。。。
これも見てほしい。。。
Shinno: Yes, of course, East.

新しい結界自在妖だ。
Shinno: This is a new barrier-creating bakemono,
made by combining the Eastern one and the Western Maduchi.

長： おまえさんところの間鎚は、一体２７０体の妖の
動きを止めたが、
この新しい「華槌」は一体で４２０体の妖を止められる。
Osa: Your Maduchi could hold up to 270 bakemono.
This new Kaduchi will be able to stop up to 420 bakemono.

神野： それを2万体か。。。本当にお主らと手を結ばねば。。。
どうなったいたじゃろう。。。東の。。。

長： 何の、それはお互い様だ、西の。。。

神野： 蒼月のために用意した鎧じゃ。
Shinno: It’s armor for Aotsuki to use.

神野： 槍の力によって、いくら通常の人間より頑丈になるといえど、
やはり体を護るものがなけらば、長くは戦えまい。
Shinno: Due to the power of the Spear, he is far sturdier than a normal human being,
but he’ll be able to fight longer if his body is protected.

神野： 白面と戦うとすれば、人の作った鎧でヤツの毒気で破壊される。。。
妖の気を浴びせた特別のものでないとな。

This special armor, bathed in bakemono “ki”, will not.

Kagari: He hasn’t been able to do it because it takes so much power.

イズナ： そんなコトいうなよ、一鬼。。。
Izuna: Don’t say that, Hitotsuki!

イズナ： 時順達が戦いを見てくれば、ひょっとしたら
白面の倒し方、
わかるかもしれねーじゃねえか。
Izuna: If Tokijun can see the battle, we might be able to see the way
to defeat Hakumen no Mono.

それが我らが勝つ鍵だからァ！
Tokisaka: Go all out!
That’ll be the key to our success!

時順： 来た。。。白面の者の妖気が、時までもねじ曲げておる。
Tokijun: Almost there! Hakumen no Mono’s youki is twisting up time itself!

時逆： いつもここで時を越えられぬのだ。
Tokisaka: This is always the place we can’t get past!

時順： いくぞ時逆、力を貸せい！
Tokijun: Let’s go, Tokisaka, put your back into it!

時逆： おお！！
Tokisaka: Right!
