Ushio: Hey…where am I?

潮： オレ、どうしてここに。。。
Ushio: How did I get here?

潮： 確か麻子と真由子が東西の妖達にさらわれて、それを追って来たんだ。。。
Ushio: Last thing I knew we were following the Eastern and Western bakemono
who’d snatched Asako and Mayuko…

潮： 遠野の上空で西の妖の空屋敷が見えたと思ったら。。。
Ushio: In the skies over Toono, I though I saw the Sky Mansion of the Western bakemono…

潮： 雷信とかがりが襲ってきて。。。
オレ達、落っこちたんだよな。。。
Ushio: Raishin and Kagari attacked us…

とら： ここだぜ、落ちつけや。
Tora: Right here. Calm down.

潮： あ！！
Ushio: Oh!

潮： 麻子や真由子は！？なァ、どーしたオレらこんなトコにいるんだよ！？
Ushio: What about Asako and Mayuko? What are we doing here!?

とら： そいつは、おめえが寝てたマクラに聞いてみな。
Tora: Try asking the one you were just using as a pillow.

潮： え。。。枕。。。？

Ushio: Huh? A pillow?

小夜： こぶさたですね。。。
Saya: It’s been quite some time…

小夜： 蒼月くん。。。
Saya: Aotsuki-kun.

潮： 小夜さん。。。
Ushio: Saya-san!

白い髪の一族の女の子。
彼女の頼みで、ザシキワラシを閉じ込めている結界を、
とらとオレが切ったんだっけ。。。
Ushio: The girl of the white-haired family line who acts as a bridge between humans and youkai.
I met her on my way to Hokkaidou. She asked Tora and me to break the barrier that
was holding a zashikiwarashi…

潮： さっ、小夜さん、オレを。。。覚えてるの。
Ushio: S-Saya-san, then you…remember me?

小夜： 忘れませんよ。。。
Saya: I could never forget.

潮： だからそりゃもういいーんだよ！
Ushio: That’s so great!

小夜： そう。。。
Saya: I see.

小夜： 周りの人がうしおくんのことを忘れて。。。
Saya: All the people around you have forgotten you.

潮： もう、まいったよ。。。
Ushio: Well, it kinda sucks.

潮： たいていのコトは乗り切っていく自身あったのによ。。。
これは効いたよ。。。オヤジは石ンなってるしょ。。。
Ushio: I was pretty confident I could weather usual trouble…
But this has really gotten to me, what with Pops turning to stone…

潮： 槍が鳴ってる。。。
Ushio: The Spear’s sounding.

潮： 妖か。。。！？
Ushio: Another bakemono!?

小夜： あのね。。。
Saya: Well…

小夜： うしおくん達が来るのを私、知っていたの。。。
Saya: You see, I knew you were coming, Ushio-kun.

潮： え。。。
Ushio: Really?

小夜： そして私は重大な事を知らせるために、うしおくんと
とらさんに来てもらったの。
Saya: You were brought here so I could let you know something very important.

小夜： オマモリサマに頼んで。。。
Saya: I asked Omamori-sama to do it.

潮： ああ何だ、オマモリサマ！しばらくだったなァ！！
Ushio: Oh, sorry, Omamori-sama! Long time no see!

とら： ムダだよ、そいつもわしらのコトは忘れてらァ。
Tora: Save it. She doesn’t remember either of us.

オマモリサマ： いくらきてもさやのつくったけっかいは
うあぶれぬのに。。。こやつらまたきておるな。
Omamorisama: No matter how often they are unable to break Saya’s barrier,
they still come.

小夜： ええ、オマモリサマ。
Saya: Yes, Omamori-sama.

潮： ヤロウ！
Ushio: Dammit!

とら： へーきだぜ、この女の結界にゃあれくらい強え婢妖でも
入ってこれねえ。
Tora: It’s fine. Even those strong Hiyou can’t get into her barrier.

潮： 何だよォ　とら、おめえさっきからエラッそーによ。
Ushio: What’s with you being so smug!?

とら： うるせええええ。
Tora: Shaaaadup!

小夜： とらさんのいうとおりです。そして。。。それが私が
蒼月くんを覚えている。。。
理由。。。
Saya: It’s as Tora-san says. And it’s the reason I remember you,
Aotsuki-kun.

小夜： うしおくん。。。
この婢妖はね。。。
Saya: Ushio-kun.
These Hiyou-

小夜： 人や妖の記憶をー
食べるの。。。
Saya: They’re eating people and mononoke’s
memories…

小夜： 人や妖の頭の中に一瞬にして入って取り憑き。。。
うしおくんととらさんに関する記憶だけ、
食べてなくしてしまったの。。。
Saya: In an instant, they enter and attach themselves inside
the heads of humans and mononoke.
They eat only the memories concerning you and Tora-san…

潮： 。。。なんで。。。そんなコトを。。。
Ushio: Why is this happening?

とら： けっ、白面がまた妙ちくりんなコトおっぱじめやがったか。
Tora: Keh! Hakumen has started all this weird business again?

小夜： 白面の者の力はねー
人やほかの妖が己を恐れること。。。
Saya: Hakumen no Mono’s power-
is humans and other mononoke’s fear of it.

小夜： ほかの者が白面を恐れれば恐れるだけ。。。
その者の「力」を自分の「力」としてしまう。。。
Saya: When their fear of Hakumen is as high as it can be,
their power becomes its power…

小夜： それが白面の者の強大さの秘密だわ。

白面を倒すためだけにある獣の槍と。。。

existing only to defeat it…

小夜： 白面の者に憎しみを燃やし、

小夜： 蒼月とともに無敵の力をふるう妖怪・とら。。。
Saya: The daiyokai who fights alongside Aotsuki with uncounquerable power, Tora.

小夜： 今、その二人の存在を忠心に、妖と人間の連合が
完成しつつあった。。。
Saya: Now, with the existence of those two people in their hearts,
bakemono and humans have begun to ally together…

小夜： そこに生みだされるのは希望。。。
Saya: From that, the hope is born…

小夜： 彼らなら白面の者を倒せるかもしれない。。。

希望は自分の恐怖を確実に薄めるから。。。

潮： ちょ。。。ちょっと待って。。。なんで小夜さん、
白面の者を知ってる？
Ushio: W-wait a minute. How do you know about Hakumen no Mono, Saya-san?

潮： それに。。。なんでいろんな事情をそこまで。。。？
Ushio: And…how do you know about everything that’s happened up to now?

小夜： ある妖からすべて。。。聞いたの。
Saya: The mononoke here told me everthing.

私の結界内にかくまわれているの。。。
Saya: That mononoke is injured,
and I have wrapped my barrier around him.

小夜： うしおくんも会ったことあるわね。
Saya: You’ve met this mononoke too, Ushio-kun.

小夜： 時を上り時を下る
この妖さんに。。。
Saya: This mononoke moves back and forth
through time…

潮： あ。。。！！
Ushio: Oh!

潮： 時逆！
Ushio: Tokisaka!

時逆： よう。。。蒼月ィ。。。
Tokisaka: Yo…Aotsuki…

潮： どっ、どうしてんだよ、ボロボロじゃねーか！
それになんで時逆が小夜さんトコにいるんだよ！
Ushio: W-what happened to you? You’re all beat up!
And why are you here at Saya-san’s place?

時逆： まァ、話を聞けやァ　蒼月ィ。。。
Tokisaka: Well, listen to what I have to say, Aotsuki…

白面の思惑は、しかし。。。
たった一人の少年と一体の妖によって邪魔された。
Tokisaka: Hakumen anticipated creating fear in all the people of this country,
but a single boy and bakemono stood in its way.

時逆： いやもうその二人は戦ったよ。。。
たった一年のうちにな。。。
Tokisaka: More than that, they fought it,
for over a year…

時逆： 戦う二人の姿は大勢の目に焼きつけられた。。。
Tokisaka: The image of the two fighting was burned into the minds of a so many people…

時逆： 助けられた人々はずっと二人を忘れない。。。
そして心にこう思いこむ。
Tokisaka: The ones who were saved by the two would never forget them…
and they would hold this in their hearts-

時逆： 妖はけっして倒せぬものではない！

とら： けっ、おもしろくねーなァ、その結論はよォ！
Tora: Keh. What stupid reasonsing!

時逆： おまえもそれに強力してるのになァ。。。
Tokisaka: You were cooperating all along…

Ushio: And then?

とら： ブツ　ブツ
Tora: Grumble Grumble

時逆： 白面もおもしろくねえ。。。
ああ、実におもしろくねえよなァ。。。
Tokisaka: Hakumen didn’t like it either…
Oh, it truly did not like this…

その思いが人間どもの方にある限りー
Tokisaka: When it finally appeared,
all the humans who had that thought-

時逆： うしおととらのことを、人間が知っている限り、
「恐怖」は「希望」に変わってしまうかもしれぬわ。
Tokisaka: all the humans that knew of “Ushio and Tora”-
their fear might turn to hope.

時逆： だから白面は放ったのだ。。。
うしおととらの記憶を喰う妖怪を。。。
Tokisaka: So Hakumen split off Hiyou
to eat the memories of Ushio and Tora…

麻子： あなた。。。
誰？
Asako: Who are
you?

二人： おまえ誰だよ。。。
Two boys: Who’re you?

厚沢： 君は何だ。
Atsuzawa: Who are you?

時逆： 妖や人々を絶望につき落すため。。。
自分に対する「恐怖」を保っため。。。
Tokisaka: To thrust bakemono and humans into hopelessness…
To preserve their fear of it…

潮： そうか。。。ようやくわかったよ。。。
Ushio: I see…I finally understand.

とら： ふ～ん。
Tora: Fuhn.

潮： あ！
Ushio: Oh!

時逆、何か知らないか！？
Ushio: Asako and Mayuko were taken by the bakemono of the East and West.
Do you know anything about it, Tokisaka!?

Tokisaka: W-what?

時逆： 何ということだ。
Tokisaka: How could they!

時逆： そこまでそこまでやったのか。
Tokisaka: Have they…have they gone this far?

とら： 何だよ　じれってーなァ、早くいえ！！
Tora: Gone how far? I’m getting irritated, so spit it out!!

時逆： あたしらが時越えに挑んだ。。。
Tokisaka: We managed to make it through time-

時逆： 目指すは百面との最期の戦いの時―
そこでヤツの戦い方や弱店をつかもうとしたんだ。。。
Tokisaka: Trying for the time of the final battle with Hakumen
to grasp the tide of the fight or Hakumen’s weak points…

時逆： 長の命で今までも数回試みたがなァ。。。
妖に続く時の流れは妖気で歪められてていつも失敗だったんだァ。
Tokisaka: We’ve tried several times up to this point, on the Osa’s orders…
With youki, we warped the flow of time but we always failed.

時逆： あたし達やがんばった。。。歪みも乗り越えた。。。

時逆： あたしらは長達たことそ伝えたよ。
Tokisaka: We reported what we had seen to the Osas.

時逆： 。。。獣の槍がなくしゃ
白面は倒せねえ、
Tokisaka: …Without the Beast Spear,
Hakumen cannot be defeated.

時逆： 獣の槍は。。。必要なんだよ。。。

sacrificed herself…

時逆： ならこいつのはどうだ。。。
Tokisaka: So what do they intend…
