The huge amount of water that pours from of the 15,000 meter class mountains have all the "nutrients" sucked out of them by the mountains by the time they reach the mouth of the river.
And the place where those nutrients "accumulate" are none other
than a cave at that at the foot of the mountains...
inside the "Death Falls".
Komatsu: Th... There's a cave inside the waterfall...
And it's "filtered" to be a pond full of nutrients, right...?
Toriko: Yeah. A highly concentrated pool that squeezes out all of the mountains' blessings.
And the elegantly swimming fish that changes that into luminescent energy is the "Shining Gourami". ["Shining Gourami" in white.]
