Tsukiyama (number 9)
Igano (no. 10)
My little toe is always banging against the table corner, which really hurts. So I've taken to walking around withs lippers on to ensure that even if I bang it, it doesn't hurt. But it just happens that whenever I forget to wear my slippers, the deliveryman comes, or the soup I'm cooking boils over, and in my hurry I bang my toe.
Was expected to be the future of Japanese football, but lost his life in a tragic accident. His younger brother, Kakeru, was heavily injured in the accident. Suguru's heart was transplanted into his brother together with his beliefs, hopes and dreams.
Enrolled into Enoshima High School in order to find the MF Araki that his brother acknowledged. Since then he has worked with enthusiasm to get onto the team. Currently in special training to turn his weak dribble into a weapon!!
Nicknamed Seven. A teammate of Suguru and Kakeru's in their childhood with exceptional football sense. She used to be a well-known genius player in America called the "Little Witch". Currently manages the football club.
Eno High starts their Inter-High Kanagawa Prefecture Preliminaries campaign with a daring super-offence formation! Kakeru and his teammates, who continue to grow as they play, have to defeat Tsujidou Academy in order to reach the next round of preliminaries! In other notes, a turning point has occurred in Nana's life. Previously known in the American association football world as the "Little Witch", Nana has received an invitation to join the national female football team, Nadeshiko Japan. She's taken part in a test match... and now what does Nana truly want...?
Position MF. Extremely easily satisfied and attacks on the side he likes. Kind of perverted...
A MF with a genius ball sense. He taunts his opponents with what seems like magic... however, he's on a very strict diet.
Position FW. Excellent at post plays due to his height of 189cm.
Position MF. Araki's partner in stand-up and football, balancing him out.
Position FW. Although he is small, he a right-wing specialist due to his excellent technique and speed.
Position MF. His accurate technique and deduction skills make up the team. The deep-lying playmaker (regista) who starts the attack.
Consultant for the Enoshima High football club. Regulates the whole club with a strictness Iwaki doesn't have.
Coach of the Enoshima High football club. Born and bred in Enoshima, he has experience in representing the school as captain in his youth.
The coach of Tsujidou Academy's football team. Was in the same team as Iwaki during his high school days.
Starting Eleven (above black bar)
Enoshima High School Football Club (K: you can remove 'school' if necessary... OR, you can do what we did in chapter 29/47 and just put "Enoshima Starting Lineup")
[K: look at page 4 of chapter 29/47 for this and copy that but try to put in the school year of the players..! Just a "1st yr" or whatever will do.]
19 Takase Michirou
FW 1st yr
9 Hino Junpei
FW 2nd yr
7 Matoba Kaoru
FW 1st yr
8 Hyoudou Makoto
MF 2nd yr
10 Araki Ryuuichi
MF 2nd yr
5 Sawamura Yuuji
MF 3rd yr [K: OMG! I didn't know that o.o]
4 Oda Ryouma
MF 2nd yr
13 Sakamoto Shuuji
MF 2nd yr
3 Horikawa Akito
DF 2nd yr

2-5-3 Formation (black bar under Kurebayashi)
Although it appears to be a super-offence-oriented formation with only 2 defenders, this is actually a flexible formation that takes advantage of the excellent fitness levels of the defending midfield, allowing them to shift position to make 5 defenders when needed. Methods of attack are abundant, including the through passes of MF "Magician" Araki, MF Oda's long passes and FW Matoba's dribble breakthroughs from the wing. FWs Kakeru and Takase may occasionally be in the starting lineup. Thus the Enoshima Eleven are constantly evolving and changing.
Starting Eleven (above black bar)
Tsujidou Academy Football Club [K: or do whatever I said for the previous page..]
9 Hasegawa Kyousuke
7 Shindou Nobuaki
10 Kim Dae-sun [K: his official name is apparently Kim Dae Jun. But I don't care. Also his freckles appear to be missing and I am not happy, please draw them on. I can take a photo of the page if you want...]
11 Seta Shintarou
8 Kumada Kazuo
6 Fuwa Kinichi
5 Honda Kenta
3 Sugama Shou
2 Akagi Touru
4 Ishikawa Kei
1 Onizuka Makio [K: OMG GTO + MY BOSS MY HERO!!!]
There are 4 DFs, with the larger built defenders, Sugama and Akagi, placed in the center. In addition, the defending midfielders, Fuwa and Kumada, are able to nip the buds of their opponents' offence in the midfield. This lineup appears to rely heavily on wing attacks, but Tsujidou Academy, with a reputation of being called 'punks', seems to have another strategy, one that can't be dealt with ordinarily, up their sleeve. Pay careful attention to the playmaker, number 10 MF Kim, and the sole FW Hasegawa!!

Announcer: Enoshima High School against Tsujidou Academy!
#56 Surprising Tactics
Guy: The commentary will be given by me, Yamanashi Ichirou,
Girl: and Fukushima of the hallowed Enoshima Broadcasting Club.
Announcer: Mmm... The SC and FC have merged,
Announcer: and our school campaign seems to be going better and better!
Announcer: The 3 matches so far have been concluded with devastating victories over traditional football veteran schools.
And, if we defeat Tsujidou Academy,
Announcer: we will advance into the Kanagawa Prefectural Tournament!
Tsujidou Guys: Shut your mouth!! We'll kill you!
TG: Hey you- if you want to be all poncy, at least do it fairly!
TG: Fukushima-saaan, let me do it!
Announcer: Eh... the Tsujidou Academy supporters are being extremely forceful. However, we will not submit!
The result of this game will also be announced tomorrow, Monday, during lunch break...
Kakeru: So many people are here, Kouta.
small text: There are even people from the broadcasting club!
Kouta: Yeah, because if we win this, we'll be in the round of 16s.
Ugh... I really want to play!
Kakeru: We'll get to even if we're not starting.
Today's opponents feel a little different from our previous opponents.
sfx big one at top of panel: walking
sfx mobile phone: type type
sfx gum: blow-
sfx yawn: yawn~
Kouta: Yeeaah... they don't look like a team that could have beaten Zennichi University-Affiliated High 4-0 at all.
Kakeru: They came late and they're not even warming up.
Nana: Don't underestimate them, guys.
Nana: They were like that before the last game too.
Once the whistle blew, they got serious unbelievably quickly.
Nana: As for warming up, I think they finished that already.
Nana: Look, there's proof. [K: I'd rather not...! D:]
Their shirts are soaked with sweat.
Kouta: They... kind of look like a group of assembled punks.
Iwaki: Of course.
Iwaki: If you just look at the ability level of the players in this game, we would come out top.
Iwaki: However, honestly speaking, I don't know what will happen.
Iwaki: But, in this 1 week of training, we've developed strategies against them too.
Go and play with confidence!
Announcer: Well then, first up is Eno High's starting lineup!
Announcer: The goalkeeper is Kurebayashi Leo, number 1.
He has let in only 3 goals since the beginning of the tournament!
Announcer: The two-back formation that was in place since the beginning of the competition is still present!
The defenders are the physically talented Kaiouji Gou,
Audience: Ooooooohhh! Kaiouji!!
We're cheering for you!
Announcer: and the nimble and shrewd "Sniper", Horikawa Akito.
Girls: Eeeeeeew! Horikawa's weird!
Horikawa: [SCARY FONT!] Hey, even if you're girls... I'll kill you kill you kill you...
Announcer: The defensive midfielders are the phenomenally fit Oda Ryouma, equally talented in offence and defence,
guarding the middle of the pitch,
Audience: Oda-saaan! [K: seriously... his eyes get bigger and bigger as the manga goes on...]
Announcer: and on the left the captain, number 5 Sawamura Yuuji.
Announcer: Playing on the right today is the very tall number 13, Sakamoto.
Announcer: And the attacking midfielders are Hyoudou Makoto, number 8,
who is good at offence and defence, and a very reliable player...
Announcer: and, of course, the famed Fantasista of Eno High!
The "magician of the 2nd row" [K: so awkward.. ><], number 10, Araki Ryuuichi!
Audience: Araki-kuuun! Slim down!
Araki: I've lost quite a bit already~!
Announcer: And now for the forwards, whose lineup has changed in the games until now due to their variety.
Announcer: The "Technician", number 7, Matoba Kaoru.
Girls: Aaaaaaaaah! Kaoru-kuuun!!
Girls: So cuuuuute!! [heart]
Matoba: P... please don't call me cute.
Announcer: The center forward is the ace striker, who has scored 3 goals so far... number 9, Hino Junpei! [K: <3]
Audience: Hino!! Don't let us down!!
Announcer: And newly on the left is a tall forward from the 1st year...
Announcer: Takase Michirou, the "Enoshima Tower"!!
sfx: CRACKLE CRACK
Takase: Wha... why "Enoshima Tower"!?
Kakeru: Go, Eno High!
Kouta, Nana: Go, Go, Enoshima Tower!!
first set of words: He's so tall...
second set of words: ahaha
Announcer: Now I've just been handed the files of the Tsujidou Academy team members. I'll do a simple introduction.
Announcer: The goalkeeper is number 1, Onizuka Makio.
Announcer: There are 4 defenders. On the right...
Announcer: is number 4, Ishikawa Kei.
Announcer: Center backs are number 2, Akagi Touru,
Announcer: and number 3, Sugama Shou. [K: i like this guy, he seems more designed than the others bar fuwa, kim and hasegawa :D]
Announcer: On the left is number 5, Honda Kenta.
Announcer: The defensive midfielders are number 6, Fuwa Kinichi,
Announcer: and number 8, Kumada Kazuo.
Announcer: There are 3 attacking midfielders. On the right is number 11, Seta Shintarou.
Announcer: The playmaker is number 10,
Announcer: Kim Dae Sun.
Announcer: And on the left is number 7, Shindou Nobuaki.
Announcer: Lastly the one forward is number 9, Hasegawa Kyousuke.
Announcer: Both center backs are tall enough
Announcer: to rival our Takase, it seems.
Announcer: The only forward Hasegawa is also very tall.
Announcer: In fact, the whole starting lineup is in great fighting... no, physical shape. [K: this announcer is a big old dickweed >.>]
Kim: Hey, Shou! Move down!
Do you want me to kill you, asshole!?
Shou: Shut up, Kim! I get it!
Announcer: Tsujidou's past 3 games, with scores of 2-0, 4-0 and 3-1, result in a total goal count of 9.
They are probably an offensive team that takes advantage of their excellent fitness.
Announcer: However, we hope that their rough style of play will be toned down a bit today.
Tsujidou: Huuuuuh!? Hey, you shitface Broadcasting Club, don't be looking down on us!
sfx: thunk (baseball bat, punk is holding it)
Kakeru: It... it sort of feels like a pro wrestling match...
Yakumo: Oh? If there's gonna be a fight leave it to me!
Fuwa: Oh? Aren't you Hino-Jun?
Fuwa: So you left the guys to play football again, eh?
Hino: Fuwa...? What's someone like you doing here?
Fuwa: Eh? I'll tell you something, dumbass.
You won't get to do anything in this game!
Mako: Leave it, Junpei. It's time for kick-off.
Announcer: Enoshima starts off with the ball in the first half.
Announcer: Hino passes the ball to Hyoudou,
Announcer: quickly and proactively moving the ball out of the center circle.
sfx background: WHOA [K: do it really large and impressive, please! You can do it down the character on the left in a very cool western comic book way or however you like just make sure it makes the reader go OMG!]
Announcer: Ah, Tsujidou's Fuwa and Kumada rush towards him immediately with a battle cry.
Will this be rough play, so soon!?
Mako: Wha... what the heck...
Araki: Hehe, got...
Hino: Hey, that had to be a foul!
Ref: No! He hit the ball.
Kouta: Whaaat!? No foul?
Nana: No, it's more like they tackled him out of the ref's main line of sight, thus appearing to do it perfectly. They seem to have done their research. They know that the pass route between Oda-san and Araki-san is a main component of our offence.
Announcer: The ball's been picked up by midfielder Shindou, number 7!
Announcer: But Eno High's number 13, Sakamoto, is marking him tightly!
Sakamoto: You won't get past!
Araki: Look out, Sakamoto!
Sakamoto: S... shit!
Kakeru: It's a side out!
Announcer: Oh! Tsujidou Academy's Shindou misjudged his kick! [K: haha, no.]
Announcer: Fortunately the ball deflected off Sakamoto and Tsujidou has been awarded a throw-in.
Tsujidou: Whoaaaaa!! Go Kim!!
Announcer: Oh! The playmaker Kim is going for the throw-in.
But I wonder why there's such a big commotion?
Announcer: It's only a throw-in close to the center line,
but cheers reminiscent of those from an awarded penalty kick are coming from the stands.
No.3: All right!
Kakeru: The center backs are moving!
Nana: It's starting.
Iwaki: Takase-kun, cover the goal!!
Takase: Y, yes!
Announcer: Hmmm... what are these movements?
Announcer: Has Hasegawa made a careless mistake?
And the two tall center backs are running towards Eno High's goal like the wind.
Announcer: No, Eno High's defence is also unexpectedly tightening in front of the goal.
I don't know what this means!
Uryuu: Heh, well, you will soon.
Announcer: Kim Dae Sun, number 10...
what an energetic throw-in!
WHOO (1 per character)
Kakeru: It... really happened!
Announcer: Whaaaaat!? What... what was that throw-in!?
Announcer: Don't tell me... don't tell me it'll reach Hasegawa?
Announcer: It... it did!!
announcer: A throw-in that flew a distance of 30 metres... as if it were a free kick...
Announcer: It reached him!
Hasegawa: I got iiitt!!
sfx in bg: WHOA
Kakeru: Ta... Takase-kun!!
Announcer: E... Eno High is suddenly in trouble!!
