So wait? Did they think Lavi was related to Cross at first or did the red hair remind them of Cross?
I think it's "get the princess" (princess referring to Lenalee) but I don't know any Japanese; it just sounds better. Also, I believe Debitt and Jasbero are fraternal twins; hence Debitt as the boy and Jasbero as the girl.
Thanks for the translation! I'll be stalking this board for a while.

/edit: In spoken Japanese, you often say "but" without meaning it (complicated matter). This one slipped into the translation by accident.
