Genta: Hey, Conan..

Genta: What're we gonna do with this?
Conan: Well, first thing is...

Conan: We have to open up this coffin...
Mitsuhiko: Wa...
--Wait just a minute!

Mitsuhiko: According to the contents of the diary we just found...
--Somebody has kidnapped a small boy and confined him here...They also wrote that since the child appeared to be aware of his own circumstances he would have to be killed, right?

Haibara: Yes...Furthermore there is some sort of red substance adhering to the last page, And written there are the words:
--"Boy, I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

Ayumi: T-Then inside that coffin...
Mitsuhiko: ...is the boy's body...
Conan: Yes...

Conan: That's a possibility!

Mitsuhiko: But that's...
Conan: Hey, Haibara! Take them away from here! It's not a sight for children...
Haibara: Indeed...

Genta: Wait, you're a kid too!
Haibara: That's enough! Move away!

Conan: It's empty...
--There's nothing inside...

Mitsuhiko: Whew...
Ayumi: I'm glad!!
Haibara: If that's the case, then the boy...

Haibara: It's possible he he hasn't been killed yet...
--Had he killed the boy he would have quickly placed　him in the coffin...rather than heedlessly playing the piano...

Genta: L-Let's all go to the piano room and get our cell phones back!
Mitsuhiko: Y-Yeah!
Haibara: Don't be silly...Without any clue as to what type of weapon our opponent has in his possession, by approaching recklessly we're liable to get killed!

Ayumi: B-But if we don't do something that boy will...
Conan: Agasa'll be here in about an hour...We could go wait for him outside, but it's pouring rain...

Conan: But just waiting around won't accomplish anything, so why don't we all try searching for the kidnapped boy!
Ayumi: Yeah!
Haibara: Isn't it too dangerous? The kidnapper may still be here.

Conan: It be alright! As long as the piano music is still playing it means the culprit is still in that room...
Mitsuhiko: But he may not be working alone!

Conan: Most likely he is!
--The diary was written in the first person, and the style doesn't give the impression of any co-conspirators...In addition there was only one wine glass...

Conan: On the other hand I still want you guys to stick close to no matter what!
Genta: O-Okay...
Ayumi: B-But why wouldn't the culprit come here to catch us?
Haibara: Perhaps he doesn't want his face to be seen...

Haibara: If he makes an unskillful assault on us and we were able to escape and provide his description to the police he'd be in trouble...
--Perhaps that's why he's playing the piano in the dark...To give us the creeps and drive us out of here...

Haibara: He probably doesn't think we saw the diary and figured out about the kidnapping...
Mitsuhiko: But later on if the police come question the owner of this place won't they figure out he's the culprit anyway?
Conan: It may not be the owner...

Conan: It's more natural that he thought to break into this place...
--Pretend he's the wealthy owner of this villa, and then invite the boy here...

Conan: Hey, is the piano music playing?
Mitsuhiko: Yes...it's continuing still going...
Ayumi: He plays well even in the pitch darkness.

Haibara: It appears the child was playing that game while being confined in this room...

Conan: 30 more minutes until the Professor arrives...
Genta: Isn't this the kitchen we went to before?
Mitsuhiko: Looks like we've come full circle...

Haibara: No...The hallway branches off into two so there still appear to be areas that need to be searched...
Ayumi: Right, the place we went to before was...

Ayumi: Huh?

Conan: No, this piano music is different!!　It doesn't contain the note that's slightly off key!!

Haibara: It's possible he's playing that CD track on infinite repeat in the piano room to　make it appear he's still there...
--while secretly he closes in on us...
Mitsuhiko: You mean...

Conan: Anyway let's go look for her!
--She may simply be lost!!

Conan: Hey, are you there!?
Mitsuhiko: No, not here...
Genta: Just as I thought, the culprit ...
Haibara: The possiblity exists that the worst has happened...

Ayumi: No way! Then the culprit really murdered....

Genta: Ayumi!? Where were you!?

Ayumi: It's just that I thought I'd look for the boy!
--I left the kitchen when everyone was getting all excited...

--When he tries to speak, he's quite a pleasant child. Smiling and playful...Today I don't know if he comprehends where he's been placed, but he apparently passed the days appropriately restrained...In any case, he only has to endure 2 more days...

Conan: March 22, cloudy...Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven...Heart wrenching melodies...Geniuses born of the same era...I resent those talents...Playing music in this situation is inappropriate, but I can forget the time...Just one more uneventful day...

Conan: March 23, rain...
--Terrible...Somehow the boy appears to know who I am...If it's revealed there will be future hindrances...Poor thing, but it appears my only choice is to kill him...

Conan: And the last entry...
--March 24, rain...Boy, I'm sorry...Please forgive me...

Conan: The first thing that bothers me is why the entry for March 21 was omitted...In the March 20 entry he mentions "2 more days," and in the March 22 entry he mentions "1 more day."　It's as if he were connecting the dates without the 21st even existing.

Conan: What's more, it's odd that in the last entry he writes, "March 24, rain"
--This red stains are probably spilled wine, but the fact this they're dried up means that the entry must have been written at least an hour before we found it. Why did he write that it was rainy? It hadn't even been raining for an hour before we arrived...

Genta: Uh, Conan?
Mitsuhiko: What are you doing rubbing the mechanical pencil lead against the diary?

--It's the Monster Getta treasure map!
Haibara: What does it mean?

Conan: I don't have positive proof so I can't be certain...
--But if we head to the piano room and I can confirm it, I'll give you an answer!
Mitsuhiko: T-the piano room?

Haibara: You know there's a chance it's a ruse and he's actually waiting to ambush us...
Conan: Yeah...
--So we'll take precautions!

Genta: No-...
--Nobody's here...

Haibara: You were right. The piano music was just the CD...

Mitsuhiko: L-Look!
--Our stuff's all gone!

Ayumi: No way!
Genta: Seriously!?

Haibara: So how's your deduction going?
--Has anything revealed itself to you since our arriving?
Conan: It should have...but I don't get it...

Conan: By some chance...
--Perhaps they're seriously awesome...

Genta: Hey Conan...
Mitsuhiko: I can't believe you're playing around on the piano at a time like this!

Ayumi: But the height of the seat isn't right for you...
--Although it was just right for me...

Conan: Eh?
Mitsuhiko: Under the seat cover there should be a dial you turn to adjust the seat height...
Genta: Oh!

Haibara: So you were saying...
--That creepy piano player was awesome...
Conan: Yes, an extraordinarily awesome genius...

Conan: So much so that others resent...
--Their even being born!
