Kinnikuman 196

Kinnikuman has discovered a potential new weapon that can stop Akuma Shogun! Now with Terryman by his side and new ally Buffaloman holding the evil Choujin aside, can Suguru make the preparations to perfect the Kinniku Driver?

Chapter 196: Gold Mask Arc (37): Unsinkable! Akuma Shogun!!

55.
Suguru: I will, I will certainly perfect the Kinniku Driver and return---!!
Announcer: Kinnikuman is going on a journey with Terryman for a Kinniku Driver crash course—

56.
Buffalo: I’ll be waiting, Kinnikuman.
Shogun: You…can’t escape, Kinnikuman!!
Buffalo: Well, you won’t get out from this ring, even if my life is replaced!
Shogun: You—you betryed me!! Do you know what will happen to you~~~!!
Buffalo: Uwa
Buffalo: His…demonic Shogun Claw……

57.
Shogun: Did you know! My Shogun Claw is the most terrible claw…
Robin: Lo…look!! The build of the ten-millon power proud Buffaloman is by one of Akuma Shogun’s hands…!!
Meat: And further, he’s doing it by a perfect Bear Claw…!!
Buffalo: Uwa

58.
Announcer: Somehow, Akuma Shogun has lifted Buffaloman with one hand---!!
Shogun: That’s the difference between merely a devil and Akuma Shogun--!!
Shogun: Here—Hell Super Express!!
Announcer: It’s Akuma Shogun’s One-Handed Slam!!
Shogun: ………!!

59.
Shogun: Gee!!
Shogun: Uh…!?
Announcer: Buffaloman made a tenacious reversal---!!
Buffalo: There.
Buffalo: You’ll never get out of this ring!!

60-61.
Suguru: Huh, there’s an excellent training ground in the midst of the mountains…
Terry: Kinnikuman, this special training ground is to perfect your illusionary deadly-technique, the Kinniku Driver, which is still only bits and pieces!
Suguru: It’s my obligation to perfect the Kinniku Driver quickly also fro Buffaloman, whose holding off Akuma Shogun in the ring!!
Suguru: For that purpose, I can only use a special method!
Suguru: I’ll use this big tree to train the Kinniku Driver!

62.
Suguru: Watch, Terry. The root of the tree is the opponent’s legs, and the branches will be the arms.
Terry: Ooh, that tree will be your training means!!
Suguru: First, this technique called the Kinniku Driver…!!
Suguru: Must be tossed up to that height!!
Suguru: And next!

63.
Suguru: Jump to aim for the opponent!!
Terry: Watch out for the waterfall!
Suguru: And then take the position of the Kinniku Driver!
Suguru: Last, aim for the canvas.
Suguru: Owa—

64.
Suguru: Hm--m, just grabbing an opponent's body and dropping them from the top of their heads doesn't surpass a mere pile driver! On top of grabbing an opponent's body, the Kinniku Driver must break both of an opponent's arms and legs......
Suguru: In short, the sticks of the large tree...are the leg sections and the branches...the arm section!!
Terry: Kinnikuman, your repeating your "extreme clumsiness" in this thing called special training: by practicing, you can make it perfect. Getting skilled at it from the start must be done by this special training!!
Suguru: Terry, it's as you said!! I have to repeat this until I become good, no matter how many times.
Suguru: Dorya--

65.
Narration: Within the furious flow of the waterfall--
Narration: Kinnikuman's special training of catching the large tree continued--
Suguru: Uwa
Suguru: Uwa
Narrator: Even though he was swallowed by the waterfall and hit his body on the rocks many times, Kinnikuman repeated his training with tenacity!!
Terry: Kinnikuman, in your difficult moments, remember Buffaloman!!
Suguru: Bu...Buffaloman!!

66.
Shogun: Ou…out of my way—Buffaloman!!
Announcer: Buffaloman has expanded his arms creating a massive wall and Akuma Shogun can’t make a step outside driven to a corner.
Buffalo: You…can’t move until Kinnikuman returns!!
Shogun: Buffaloman, why aren’t you attacking? If I can’t get out from the ring, shouldn’t you KO me rather quickly, even if none of your techniques can hurt me?
Buffalo: I…I had sparred…with you many times long ago…but I haven’t defeated you even once.
Shogun: That was long ago. However, the you now is first-grade, even from me…your Head Scissors from earlier had me crawling on the mat without taking me down. Could the you from long ago do that trick?
Buffalo: Ac…actually, my force now is the most perfected. I can’t lose to anyone!
Buffalo: Per…perhaps I can defeat him. This unsinkable Akuma Shogun!!

67.
Shogun: An opening!!
Announcer: With Buffaloman’s iron wall slacking, Akuma Shogun heads to attack—
Buffalo: Ku
Buffalo: Special Hurricane Mixer!!
Announcer: It’s Buffaloman’s improved Hurricane Mixer!!
Buffalo: The spin speed has powered up times 100 since the Hurricane Mixer against Kinnikuman!!
Announcer: So, can Akuma Shogun avoid that!!

68.
Buffalo: If you can return that, then return it!
Announcer: Without returning the technique, Akuma Shogun has crashed into the canvas head first---!!
Shogun: Uwahahaha
Everyone: AAH
Shogun: Why didn’t I return your technique? Because I have the strength to withstand your technique.
Shogun: It’s clear!
Shogun: My body can’t feel pain! If I don’t feel pain, then I can take a technique without giving up. That’s the secret of my strength!!

69.
Buffalo: A…body that can’t feel pain!!
Suguru: HAA HAA HAA HAA HAA
Suguru: The…the last tree!!

70.
Suguru: God!
Suguru: May this remaining tree now show the results of training---!!

71.
Buffalo: Guhe
Buffalo: Guwa
Shogun: Buffaloman! I can endure
Shogun: every technique in the universe!!
Announcer: Buffaloman is down!

72.
Buffalo: Sho…Shogun-sama! If there’s just one technique to defeat you, then it doesn’t exist in the universe yet…that is the new hold being born!
Suguru: Uwa—
Suguru: Owa—
Suguru: S**t!
Suguru: Will I lose?

73.
Terry: Kinnikuman!!
Suguru: I’ve done it---!! The Kinniku Driver is complete---!!

74.
GOLD MASK ARC
SPECIAL VTR X
KINNIKUMAN VS. ASHURAMAN (1)

TN: You've got to give it to Buffaloman: even though he seemed like his victory with Akuma Shogun seemed hopeless, just the aspect that he was willing to sacrifice himself to stop him while Suguru trained to perfect the Kinniku Driver was strong stuff! Likewise, Akuma Shogun shows a new level of creepiness, not just in his "immunity to pain" (which reminds me a bit of Nisei villain Checkmate) but also in him buttering up Buffaloman to force him to use that improved Hurricane Mixer...just to prove his own pride is his weakness. Meanwhile...how convenient was it that there would just be some Choujin training ground exactly where they were? I mean it would have been one thing for Suguru and Terry to just train in the mountains to get the Kinniku Driver right, but that whole "mysterious unknown training ground" bit was just silly...which is probably par for this series.

Edit: Once again, I thank Mohammad ALRadhi for providing me the scan so I could finish this script!
