Mongol: I’m…sure that it would be fascinating to have a tag-team with Buffaloman, who is proud of his 10 Million Power…
Mongol: But, I also see my long-time friendship with Kinnikuman important!
Mongol: But I’m not just worried of that.
Mongol: I must choose one of these two letters for the Tag Tournament in three days.
Ashura: Ka—kakaka, worry, worry! Justice Choujin, our work has become easy with the worries you have when you worry.
Sunshine: Fuo fuo…
Mongol: THAT’S…IT!!

141.
Mongol: I’ll make a tag-team with that man!
Narrator: With the start of the Choujin Tag Tournament captivating the entire universe in two days, the participating teams headed towards Japan one after another—those who ended their extra training in Hawaii and Guam and made their ways towards Japan—Or those who possibly, even now, head for Japan for the moment without choosing a partner—
Narrator: Those who saw special-training as useless and who had time for a boat trip—and those who had already arrived in Japan after struggle, building an operation for defeating their rival teams—

142.
Narrator: These various thoughts came from the east and west to Tournament Mountain, where the Space-Alien Tag Trophy sleeps!!
(TN: Yes, it’s called the “Space-Alien Tag Trophy”…”Uchuujin” is “space alien”)
Narrator: However, outside the effort of every other Choujin, there was just one Choujin who spent every day sprawled down without deciding his tag partner!

143.
Meat: Prince, the tournament is in another two days, so what are you planning!
Suguru: Don’t worry, Mongolman is sending a response! I can pick and choose the Choujin I want as my partner, even if he’s bad!!
Meat: Really—it hasn’t come to anything!
Meat: Huh! Daioh-sama, what are you doing?
Mayumi: I’m going into the ring as a partner when Suguru is rejected by Mongolman!
Meat: What will I do when you’re defeated!!
Mayumi: You’re that kind…!!
Narrator: And then, finally, it was the day of the tournament—

144.
Announcer: Finally, the first Space Choujin Tag Tournament will be occurring with the attention of the entire universe!! We’re here at Tournament Mountain, adjacent to Mount Fuji!!
Announcer: It is here that the death-matches will develop, with the chosen 8 champion tag teams gathered from throughout the universe aiming for the illusionary Tag Trophy sleeping at the summit of Tournament Mountain!!
Announcer: The teams are entering!!

145.
Girls: Kya—kya—
Announcer: Now, entering the arena first are The Most Dangerous Combo, Wolfman & Brocken Jr.
Girls: Kya—Brocken!! Wolf—
Announcer: They’re extremely popular, as expected of Idol Choujin!
Announcer: Now, entering next—
Girls: Kyaa—

146.
Announcer: Are more Idol Choujin: The Choujin Teacher-Student Combo, Robin Mask & Warsman!!
Girls: Kya—Robi—n!! Warsman, look here.
Robin: Warsman, this is the feeling of being an Idol Choujin forever!! We’re warriors going to our death!
Brocken: This isn’t Robin Mask and Warsman as usual!
Wolf: Aah…we can’t hold it in our fundoshis either…
(TN: “Fundoshi” is a sumo loincloth)

147.
Announcer: The arena has suddenly silenced! It’s the mysterious masked combo Hell Missionaries, #1 & #2.
#1 & #2: Kuo kuo kuo.
Announcer: Nothing is known concerning this duo, their birthplaces and way of fighting is all hidden in mystery. Really, are they orthodox Choujin or are they brutal Choujin!?
Yosaku: Ge—I feel sick!
Announcer: Well, the arena has switched around becoming bright as the 4th team enters—
Girls: Kya—
Announcer: It’s Terryman, who has dissolved the Machineguns with Kinnikuman and formed the New Machineguns with new partner Geronimo----!!

148.
Suguru: What, the New Machineguns—
Sign: Waiting Room
Suguru: That traitor—
Meat: Prince—
Announcer: Breaking up his combo with the selfish Kinnikuman, he made the right choice with the docile Geronimo!
Suguru: WHAT—
Meat: Control it, Prince! They’re introducing Geronimo, who finally became a Choujin from a human!
Suguru: Mu!
Announcer: Well, the new partner Geronimo is entering slowly after team leader Terryman!!

149.
Boy: Geronimo, you can do this!
Everyone: Aah
Suguru & Mayumi: Ge
Terry: No, Geronimo possesses a violent Choujin power since he was a human until a while ago!!
Boy: WA—H
Geronimo: That child was selfishly touching my body!!
Terry: That was too much. Choujin Power is used to hit the Choujin in the ring!
Announcer: He had blood thirst a bit before the match in the ring--!!

150.
Suguru: Gu…gumu—That Geronimo, he’s greatly changed.
Suguru: Those aren’t the eyes of humans; those are the eyes of a perfect Choujin.
Mayumi: What a great situation, Suguru. It’s the day of the match and you still haven’t chosen your partner!
Suguru: That’s because it’s Mongolman.
Meat: I haven’t heard a bit of word of Mongolman arriving in Japan! What will you do, Prince? They’re already starting the introduction of the 5th team!!
Announcer: Well, the 5th team entering the ring is the 4-D Killer Combo, Black Hole & Pentagon!
Suguru: That warm-friendship Mongolman has seemed to betray me…
Mayumi: Suguru!!
Suguru: I’m sure he should be somewhere in this arena.

151.
Suguru: Mongolman……where are you, Mongol…
Suguru: Mon…Mongolman!!
Mongol: It’s been a while, Kinnikuman.
Suguru: You…finally did it. You’ve finally come for me, Mongolman!
Mongol: Actually, you must be mistaken about this.
Suguru: Mistaken?
Mongol: I’m not forming a tag-team with you, Kinnikuman……
Suguru: Whaat!?

152.
Mongol: I’ll introduce you to my partner!
Suguru: Oh.
Suguru: It’s Buffaloman!!
Buffalo: Kinnikuman, we’ve mutually decided to be a tag-team, so by choosing this, we’ve arranged this for the first time! I’ve chosen Mongolman and Mongolman chose me!!
Suguru: ………
Mongol: Don’t think badly of me, Kinnikuman.

153.
Suguru: Of course, of course, Mongolman. That’s your answer!
“Masked Man”: Fufufufu
Suguru: Ge!!
Suguru: It’s you from then…
“Masked Man”: Rejected by Terryman and now rejected by Mongolman? So then, want to join up for a tag-team!?
Suguru: Who and what do you want!

154.
Suguru: He—y, show me your face!!
Suguru: ………!!
Suguru: Ge—you…you’re
Suguru: N…No, it’s you!!

TN: Welcome back Prince Kamehame...it's been such a long time I almost forgot what you looked like! (OK maybe not, I did translate the first chapters with him back in January but to the Japanese reader seeing him here for the first time, it's been years) It's sort of strange how Kamehame is able to get around Suguru's "friendship" curse, but that will be explained soon enough. Meanwhile, there's plenty else to really go on about in this chapter, in particular with some of the interesting choices and concepts introduced. First of all are the newbies known as the "Hell Missionaries"...finally first being seen in public and they're already showing class (see "dinner on a boat") and a lot of fear in what they pull (see their entry into the tournament). Many of you know who "they" are now, but it's sort of neat seeing them just as...well, unknowns. Another interesting ordeal is seeing Geronimo head out in public for the first time as a Choujin...poor guy still doesn't even realize his new strength being a human for so long. And then of course is Robin's comment about dealing with being an "Idol Choujin" to Warsman...I guess being popular to the girls is a problem after all. (not his fault the fangirls loved him and Warsman...) As for Mongolman and Buffaloman...well we'll see why soon enough but there really isn't anything I can say about them for the moment.
