Dream Choujin Tag Arc (13): Deadly Punishment!!
-> RTS Page for Kinnikuman 221
The trespassing Perfect Choujin have been stopped...but all of a sudden, the Hell Missionaries have been revealed to be the don of the Perfect Choujin all along! Are they the real deal...and what will happen to Kendaman and Screw Kid for failing?
Chapter 221: Dream Choujin Tag Arc (13): Deadly Punishment!!
113.
Suguru: What!? The Hell Missionaries are the Dons of the Perfect Choujin!?
Neptune: I’m Hell Missionary #1: Neptuneman!! And held by my side is Hell Missionary #2: Big the Budo----!!
114.
New Choujin: (from front, clockwise)
-NEPTUNEMAN (This Choujin was made by combining these two works below)
(TN: The combined Choujin are “Hulk Machine” and “Ichiban Mask”)
-KEYMAN
-FOXMAN
-ROLLERMAN
-CBM
-NOKOGIRAMAN
-MILDMAN
(TN: Hmm…why is "he" suddenly called “Big the Budo”…?)
115.
Neptune: Number one!!
Suguru: I’m scared--!!
Kamehame: N…no!! Even if they are the same Perfect Choujin as Kendaman and Screw Kid…the condition of their muscles, nobility and appearance are greatly different!!
Robin: Ha—hahahaha, what’s wrong, what’s wrong? Why are all of you scared of them?
Suguru: Ooh!! The next match has Robin Mask & Warsman confronting the Hell Missionaries!!
Robin: With Justice Choujin, there are Brutal Choujin, Devil Choujin and these new Perfect Choujin…right!!
Robin: Missionaries, this tag tournament has become interesting thanks to you!
116.
Robin: ………!!
Robin: Th…that face!!
Robin: This…this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this face. I’ve seen him before!!
Neptune: Insolent fool!!
Neptune: What’s with the handshake? Do you think that you inferior Choujin can compete in ability standing equal to we Perfect Choujin--!!
117.
Robin: What are you doing!?
Neptune: Well, hold on! We’ll be facing you after we deal with them!!
Neptune: Kendaman, Screw Kid, this is your judgement!!
Screw: We…haven’t forgotten. The Perfect Choujin Hell Judgment for suffering a defeat!!
Neptune: You two have desecrated the 3 iron laws of Perfect Choujin…first, the crime of showing your back to an enemy, making you unable to endure the 20 Million Powers attack!
Kenda: Ah…there was nothing I could do, Buffaloman had cut my chain…
Budo: It’s needless to have a reason! The law forgives wounds taken as you advance, but absolutely does not forgive wounds to the back as you retreat!!
Suguru: O…Ooh!! Now they mention it, both Neptuneman and the Budo have many wounds at the front of their body but
Suguru: They don’t have a scratch on their backs!!
118.
Neptune: And the second crime is use of a dangerous weapon, a taboo for Perfect Choujin!
Screw: But at that moment, the Dons told us to defeat the 20 Million Powers by any means poss…
Budo: We hadn’t said it was right to use a dangerous weapon! A Perfect Choujin’s weapon is just their body. In this world, those who can use but can’t destroy with their body shouldn’t be--!!
Neptune: And the last crime! That is you haven’t defeated the 20 Million Powers…as Perfect Choujin, that is the most serious crime for the defeat of you two!!
Kenda: So…then, the decision for us will be the death penalty……
Neptune: Of course!
Neptune: However, you two have remained a short while in this world. Thus, I’m giving you just once chance to live.
Kenda; A chance to live!?
Neptune: You’re fighting us! Further, if you fight and win against the Hell Missionaries, then we’ll let you go free!
119.
Kenda: It’s…impossible…to fight and win against the Dons!!
Screw: N…no, either way, if we kill them, we may be able to do this.
Kenda: We’re the dregs of the Perfect Choujin. Perhaps we can defeat the Dons.
Mongol: Stop this—you two can’t take any further injuries!
Screw: Let go, this is the only way we can be saved!!
Kenda: Sorya—Hell Screwdriver!!
120.
Screw: We’ve…done it!! It feels like we hit one of their hearts!!
Budo: You two, did you know that masked wrestlers wear over masks on top of their main mask!?
Screw: Wh…what does that mean!?
Budo: On top of my main body
Screw: Ge
Budo: I wear an over body.
121.
Suguru: Owa—Big the Budo’s body was destroyed and another body was within…!!
Screw: Ugyaa—
Kenda: Awawawawa
Kenda: Uwa—
Neptune: You showed your back to the enemy.
122.
Neptune: You said there was meaning in death!!
Kenda: Uwa
Kenda: Ugyaa~~~
Neptune: You can’t run anymore!!
123.
Suguru: Wh…what is that technique!?
Robin: Ha.
Robin: The illusionary deadly technique, the Quarrel Special!! There’s only one person in this world that can use this technique!!
Robin: I remember!! That face!!
Robin: Yes, that was 4 years ago—at the National Preliminaries to decide the participants for the Choujin Olympics world tournament.
Robin: The National Preliminaries are competed as a tournament split into A & B Blocks. I easily won the A-Block.
Caption: A-BLOCK: ROBIN MASK
124.
Robin: However at the same time, the B-Block was wild fighters who pursued victory in the opposite of my own clean fights. Ultimately there was an extravagant newcomer who easily went through the tournament! His name was Kenkaman!!
(TN: This is a bit strange but follow along: “Kenka” is Japanese for “quarrel” and the kanji is used for both “Kenkaman” and his trademark “Quarrel Special”. But while some people have called the wrestler “Quarrelman” due to this connection, his real name is “Kenkaman” and likewise his technique is the “Quarrel Special”, not the “Kenka Special”. Hope that clears things up, though essentially it’s the same whether “kenka” or “quarrel”)
Caption: B-BLOCK: KENKAMAN
Robin: The audience released a storm of applause and cheers with my victories, but
Robin: They threw boos and scorn for the newcomer’s victories!
Robin: And so there was finally a showdown to determine the British representative between myself, who won A-Block, and the newcomer, who won B-Block!!
Audience: Ro—bin, you’ll be the British representative!!
125.
Robin: And so the gong for the start of the match rang!!
Kenka: Kukukukuku
Robin: So…something’s strange.
Kenka: Kukukuku, this is the power of Robin Mask, said to be the greatest in England…
Robin: ………!?
126.
Kenka: Without being recognized as a true big-wheel, I assess you as a fake!
Kenka: I’m giving you the participation ticket for the world tournament, Robin Mask.
Robin: Th…then what about the match!?
Kenka: The match is over. You’ve lost to me.
Robin: What are you saying? We haven’t fought yet!!
Kenka: I saw it when we came together! You were defeated with your bloody vomit!!
Suguru: But Robin, just that doesn’t narrow this Kenkaman as being the same person as Neptuneman!!
Robin: Aah! Actually…
Robin: This Kenkaman’s pride is now owned by Neptuneman. The Quarrel Special!!
TN: This is a confusing chapter in more ways than one. Both Neptuneman and Big the Budo have one confusing fact about themselves and just seem to throw it out there for us to devour! Neptuneman...well, aside from being that Hogan ripoff I mentioned last time, suddenly has this weird connection to Robin Mask. But it does bring out a couple other problems. First of all, I sort of had this weird image in my head that Robin Mask was already the British representative of the Choujin Olympics having won the 19th (considering this is the tale for the 20th). I really don't get why a champion would have to requalify to represent Britain...but I guess it's like the Olympics: just because you win one means nothing ultimately for the next. (plus it would have prevented the whole situation with Kenkaman) The other factor is this: if he's essentially "Quarrelman" and the name of the attack is the "Quarrel Special", then why does he take the Japanese version of "Kenka" instead? If he's British (well a British Hulk Hogan), wouldn't he take the name in, I don't know, English? (or maybe Gaelic or Welsh, considering that's British too...) On the other hand, there's Big the Budo...don't get me started on what he pulled this chapter. I know about the whole "it was an over outfit" bit, but I have two stupid questions. First: why use said over-outfit and still be "Big the Budo"? Considering that "Big the Budo" was in the previous "Choujin group", kids would know something was wrong when he was introduced. And second...doesn't anyone even realize HOW dorky Mildman looks in the first place!? A weird mask with sunglasses and...that other stuff...it makes you happy it was destroyed but it also makes you wonder why Budo didn't just use another appearance instead of...that. My only theory: since "Mildman" is sort of the beginning of "Mild Mannered" (similar to the fusion of "Kendama" in "Kendaman"), they thought it was a good concept for the exterior prior to revealing Big the Budo. Still made him look stupid, though.
