Volume 20: A Devil’s Tears!!
Chapter 236: Dream Choujin Tag Arc (28): Hell Canvas!!

8.
Announcer: Kinnikuman Great’s new killer kick has made Ashuraman explode---!!
Mayumi: Ya—y, Great’s kick has gotten through for the first time in this match!!

9.
Suguru: You. I was sure I believed I had you figured out.
Terry: It’s because you bet on me when I was resolved to lose the match!
Terry: Now, we’ll tag.
Suguru: No, you’re finally found your ability! You should fight right now…………
Suguru: But it has been a while…
Suguru: Yossha—
Suguru: I’m going to run wild!!
Suguru: Now I’ll pay back my debts until now!!
Ashura: Guoo
Announcer: What magnificent teamwork for the Muscle Brothers! Kinnikuman is screwing him with a Cobra Twist!!

10.
Ashura: Su…Sunshine!!
Announcer: With his partner in a pinch, Sunshine flies into the ring—
Terry: Well
Announcer: But Kinnikuman Great cuts him without delay!!

11.
Suguru: Wo—w, great, Great!
Announcer: And there’s a storm of punches---!!
Ashura: Sorya
Ashura: Look here, Great!
Announcer: Making an opening in Kinnikuman, Ashuraman has escaped from Cobra Hell--!!
Terry: Ki…Kinnikuman!!
Sunshine: Guofuofuofuo
Terry: Uh.
Announcer: The Muscle Brothers, who were on the offensive until earlier, suddenly are captured by the Devil Combo----!!

12.
Ashura: The—re, you’ll get along together within the gondola…
Ashura: Go to bed--!!
Sunshine: Guofuofuofuo
Mayumi: The…the team who is thrown within that gondola first in this Lumberjack Gondola Deathmatch will lose!!

13.
Announcer: This is the conclusive defeat of the Muscle Brothers-----!!
Suguru: We’re not coming—
Terry: Ye—ah!!
Announcer: N…no, the Muscle Brothers endure just before they fly into the gondola--!!
Sunshine: They…stopped it…
Mayumi: They did it--!!

14.
Suguru: Let’s go, Great!
Terry: Yes!! Big movement—
Suguru & Terry: Sorya
Suguru & Terry: Body Attack!!

15.
Announcer: Team Kinnikuman doesn’t have a teamwork disorder anymore! They’re showing their perfected team play-----!!
Terry: We did it, we did it.
Suguru: HAHAHA
Mongol: Something is wrong.
Mongol: From the Kinnikuman and Great of before, the indication was presented that Great was always the team leader while Kinnikuman, who has a habit of not listening to people, was put into place by only Great, as if they were teacher and student!!
Mongol: Here in this match, those two are as if they’re on equal terms! It’s like they’ve formed a team of buddy comrades without saying which is team leader!
Mongol: Earlier, I read that Kinnikuman Great was a veteran Choujin over 50 in Choujin years, but
Mongol: Great now is clearly young! Yes, around the same age as Kinnikuman.
Buffalo: Wh…what!?
Buffalo: It’s ridiculous that a single Choujin can hold age and become young…
Mongol: So then, if Great’s true form has changed, how did it happen?

16.
Sunshine: Tho…those two~~~
Ashura: Wait! We can’t do anything against the Muscle Brothers now with their prided perfect team play!!
Ashura: However, a devil isn’t the defeat of two characters! Sunshine, we’ll use that!!
Suguru: Well, Great, let’s go genuinely exterminate the devils--!!
Ashura: Hold on--!! You two won’t step any closer.
Ashura: Hell Canvas!!
Suguru: Oh.

17.
Suguru: Owa
Announcer: Ashuraman has laid another enormous canvas on top of the canvas--!!
Everyone: AAH…
Ashura: This is the ultimate “secret” of the Devil Choujin: the Hell Canvas!!
(TN: “Secret” is “Ougi” in Japanese…since “ougi” isn’t really that used too often in this series, I didn’t leave it in Japanese)
Suguru: Gya—hahaha, what do you think you are doing……Even Devil Choujin have fallen to earth!! What exactly can you do with that dirty canvas!!

18.
Terry: This is bad, Kinnikuman, your leg is being pulled!!
Suguru: Eh?
Suguru: Guwa—
Sneagator: I hate you, Kinnikuma~~n.
Suguru: Uwa—the ghost of Sneagator……!!
Terry: Ge
Terry: Mo…Mountain and Planetman are coming from here----!!

19.
Khamen: Uwa—hahahaha
Atlantis: Hihihihihi~~~
Suguru: Aah.
Announcer: How could it get so bad? The ghosts of the Devil Choujin defeated by the Justice Choujin are appearing one after another from within the canvas--!!
Ashura: Kinnikuman, You should have taken that Blood Bind, the Devil Spirit Technique before!! As you’ve heard, thus, the souls of warriors continue to live as long as their blood, sweat and tears are in this world, even if their bodies are destroyed……!!
Suguru: So…so then, there’s blood and sweat attached to this canvas!!

20.
Sunshine: You finally realized it. This is the Cursed Canvas, a canvas that was sewen dyed with the blood and sweat that flowed from the Devil Choujin and the Six Devil Knights killed by you Justice Choujin----!!
Suguru & Terry: …………!!
Ashura: How’s that! We brought this to make the scene for the final battle of Justice and Evil!!
Suguru: Chi—Th…these tricks
Suguru: Aren’t used by Justice Choujin!!
Sneagator: Gya—
Suguru: ………!!

21.
Suguru: Pre…pare!! Stray Devil Combo----!!
Ashura: You’re the ones who should prepare!!
Audience: AAH…

22.
Ashura: Sunshine Magnum!!
Suguru: Geho
Terry: Ki…Kinnikuman!!

23.
Ashura: Th—ere, Sunshine Magnum Disorderly Fire!!
Announcer: Six cylinders fired from Sunshine’s body have gone through Kinnikuman’s body all at once----!!
Mayumi: Suguru!!
Ashura: Ka—kakaka, you can’t move this time.

24.
Ashura: Hey, Sunshine.
Sunshine: Gotcha.
Sunshine: Hell Combination Part III!!
Sunshine: Sky High Crash!!
Announcer: Finally, Kinnikuman of the Muscle Brothers has been thrown into the gondola---!!

25.
Announcer: Well, if the remaining Kinnikuman Great is thrown into the gondola, then the Stray Devil Combo will move into the finals--!!
Terry: Ki…Kinnikuman!!
Mountain: Huh? The feeling of this body……
Mountain: I…I have a memory feeling this body once in the past.
Planet: This…reminds me of a figure that I remember!!
Ashura: Wh…what!? If it’s true, then they remember that guy’s true form!!
Terry: Oh…no!! At this rate, they’ll reveal my true identity!!

(DREAM CHOUJIN TAG ARC)
SPECIAL VTR XV
KINNIKUMAN GREAT VS. SUNSHINE

TN: Well it's sort of strange: though they are all for the most part dead (well aside from the Stray Devil duo...and Black Hole), Yudetamago just keeps bringing back the former Devil Choujin in one form or another. It is obvious that this is probably an expanded version of the "blood bind" Suguru was forced to face during the "Seven Devil Choujin" arc, but somehow it works in it's own bizarre way. The chapter for the most part is also notable for two other factors: first of all, even though Suguru still doesn't realize it's Terry, the fact that the two are on the same wavelength even at this point has shown that they are starting to figure each other out. And the second...well OK, it's more for "Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" fans: this is where the infamous "Tokoroten Magnum" comes from, by way of the Sunshine Magnum. But at the same time...it's funnier with Tokoroten being all squishy and wobbily...and not hard and painful like...well, sedimentary rock.
