(TN: It was sort of hard to identify “him”, considering that “kateikyoushi” is “coach” on its own and “home teacher” if you take the two words apart, so I went with “home coach”)

KINNIKUMAN VS. SUNSHINE

TN: And...this is where things get really weird. I mean really: the first appearance of "teary-eyed" Ashuraman in the midst of his "angry face" pose is just one of the freakiest moments in this series! Though as bizarre as this was, in a weird way I did like the backstory that seemed to show how Ashuraman became the horrific way he was leading to his ultimate breakthrough at the end. It's sort of hard to figure if/how Devil Choujin have sympathy or friendship aside from the alliance they have (such as Sunshine with Ashuraman) but it is peculiar to see a Devil Choujin who showed sympathy and a soft heart like Ashuraman's teacher (of whom you'll discover a lot more way later...hint, hint) You do need to figure how Ashruaman's dad would hire this guy as the coach, but I guess that as well as Sunshine sort of figuring it out was what finally made him crack...though now things are going to get even weirder.
