It's a simple but brutal battle stage: surrounded by metal meshing and barbed wire with no way out...perfect for the 20 Million Powers and the Hell Missionaries...yet such perfect fighting scenarios always find a way to become a problem...

Chapter 245: Dream Choujin Tag Arc (37): Wire-Screen Nightmare!!

181.
Mongol: By using this wire-screen…
Mongol: I can accomplish in place for the rope!!

182.
Announcer: Mongolman’s mental play has made Neptuneman a victim of the barbed wire---!!

183.
Neptune: U…Ugugu.
Terry: I ignored Mongolman’s true power and expected a Hell Missionaries victory in five minutes. However, there’s Mongolman’s true identity. If he is an efficient Choujin, then I expect that the Missionaries will be under compusion for a really hard fight!
Brocken: And five minutes have already passed since the start of the match…
Suguru: So…then, Mongolman’s true identity really is one we’ve kept an eye on since long ago…
Terry: As I think, there’s no mistaking it!

184.
Suguru: Mongolman…if you are Ramenman when your mask is ripped off, then you may be able to tell us the reason why you had disappeared from us until now when you were hurt by Warsman’s Bear Claw in the Choujin Olympics!!
Suguru: Ha, how…ever, Mongolman having his mask ripped off will mean that he’s been defeated by the Hell Missionaries!!
Suguru: Uoo—I want to learn if Mongolman is Ramenman, but I don’t want him to be defeated by the Missionaries!!
Terry: Right then…to not allow cracks in the 20 Million Powers friendship is to not want to see the defeat of our original ally.
Budo: Neptuneman-sama!
Neptune: I’m…alright! I was just a bit unprepared…

185.
Mongol: Neptuneman, do you know why our team is called the 20 Million Powers?
Neptune: …………
Mongol: Buffaloman’s power is his 10 Million power Choujin strength!!
Mongol: But, even if you add in my million power, it’s 11 Million, far from 20 Million…however, I do have a compensation for my lack of power.
Mongol: I have 10 Million techniques---!!

186.
Mongol: Buffaloman’s 10 Million Power--!!
Neptune: You~~
Mongol: Plus
Mongol: My 10 Million Techniques!!
Neptune: Guhe

187.
Neptune: Guo—
Neptune: Uh.
Mongol: Equals…
Everyone: AAH…

188.
Mongol: 20 Million Powers---!!
Announcer: Somehow, Perfect Choujin Neptuneman is down again due to Mongolman’s aerial black magic---!!
Neptune: An inferior Choujin has caught me~~~

189.
Announcer: Neptuneman is angry---!!
Suguru: Uhohoho—having the always calm, child-like Neptuneman angry is bizarre.
(TN: I really doubt “child-like” works, but Suguru refers to Neptuneman here as “burikko”, which is a “child-like woman”)
Terry: The amazement of the Perfect Choujin is the point that the feelings of love, anger and hatred has been completely abandoned! However on the other hand, a Perfect Choujin’s weakness is when those feelings are revived………So then Mongolman is purposely making Neptuneman angry!
Neptune: I’ll…kill you~~~!!
Mongol: You’re trapped.
Neptune: The trapped one is you---!!

190.
Announcer: Neptuneman was pretending to seem angry---!!
Buffalo: Mongolma—n!!
Neptune: Mongolman’s aerial techniques earlier were clearly going easy on me…I would have been defeat if I released my full power, but why…it was there that I quickly realized it! Those aerial techniques weren’t to defeat me, it was to make me angry!!

191.
Terry: On top of reading what’s within Mongolman’s heart, he dared to take the attacks………what perfect judgement!!
Suguru: Ooh!! Mongolman is moving!
Mongol: …………
Mongol: Uh, U~~n.
Mongol: Uwaaa—
Mongol: UWAAA…

192.
Mongol: N…no--!!
Mongol: Aah!!
Mongol: Uwa—
Mongol: Aah!!
Mongol: So…someone~~remove all those wire-screens--!!
Announcer: Mongolman has quickly started to become scared of the wire-screens from Neptuneman crashing him into them—

193.
Suguru: Wh…what’s going on…I thought that Mongolman was able to use those wire-screens freely with his hands and feet until earlier, but this time, he’s scared of it like it’s an enemy!
Mayumi: He has a bad memory of wire-screens from far in the past.
Suguru: R…right!! If Mongolman’s true identity is Ramenman, then he had fought in a wire-screen with Warsman in the past!
Brocken: Right. Actually, Ramenman was unable to come back against Warsman in that match and ended up seriously hurt. Thus, when he threw Neptuneman into the wire-screen, it revived that nightmarish memory!!
Brocken: Buffaloman! Hurry and switch with Mongolman—If you don’t, that Mongolman will end up in terrible danger---!!
Buffalo: So…then, is Mongolman’s true identity being Ramenman true! If it is true, then if he can’t live through this at all…
Buffalo: Mongolman, tag—

194.
Neptune: Fufufu, you’re a tad slow, Buffaloman, in being told all of his story. This will greatly increase the fun of the Mask Hunt.
Neptune: Sorya
Mongol: Uwaa~~
Buffalo: St…stop—
Neptune: Now, Budo!

195.
Budo: Too—
Announcer: A double attack of a Backdrop and Neck Breacker is attacking Mongolman at once---!!
Budo: Kukukuku, you seem to hate wire-screens!
Budo: So then, here’s more to hate!!

196.
Announcer: Big the Budo has surrounded Mongolman in the wire-screen and is waving him angrily---!!
Budo: You’ll die with this!! Later we’ll slowly remove your mask—
Terry: At this rate, the terror of wire-screens and the centrifugal force will disturb him down, making his mind explode--!!
Suguru: Somehow we can’t do anything.
Brocken: Him…
Brocken: I can only ask him!!
Suguru: Br…Brocken, where are you going—
Brocken: Warsman, currently you’re the only one who can fight to save Mongolman now from his wire-screen fear!!

197.
Brocken: Please—save Mongolman…no, Ramenman--!!
Suguru: Brocken, what are you doing? Wasn’t Warsman killed in action taking the Missionaries’ Cross Bomber in the first round?
Meat: Right, Warsman is sleeping peacefully where his corpse is enshrined.
Brocken: Warsma—n!!
Suguru: Where exactly were you facing and screaming at?
Neptune: Fufufu…dummy…how could you ask for the assistance of a dead Choujin!!

198.
Budo: Die--!!
Mongol: Uwa
Brocken: Warsman!!
Announcer: What’s going on? The wire-screen sack that engulfed Mongolman was destroyed--!!
Buffalo: Ooh!!

199.
Buffalo: The marks of the wire-screen on Mongolman’s body are quickly disappearing!!
Mongol: Wh…what happened to me…!?
Buffalo: It’s him…he saved you from the terror of the wire-screen!
Mongol: Warsman!!
Budo: Guo—I’ll beat you dead---!!
Mongol: Leg Lariat!!
Announcer: Mongolman somehow has recovered from his wire-screen terror----!!
(End of Volume 20)

TN: This chapter is just one of those...that really proves Yudetamago were making things up as they went along with this series. I get they tried to maybe make it connect back to a past scenario in order to try and make it work (Ramenman fought Warsman in a cage match, got tossed around and ultimately turned into a vegetable in that scenario), but that doesn't stop the stupidity of everything that went on. For one thing: how the heck does getting wire markings from the cage suddenly make Mongolman panic so easily? I get his trauma of his previous cage match (since it is obvious now who he is), but he was really working really easy in the cage until the marks. (regardless of the whole "he threw Neptuneman against the cage and now he is afraid due to past trauma" bit) Further, the bit with Warsman saving Mongol/Ramen from the bag created by Big the Budo...it was probably one of those "so cool that it doesn't need an explanation" moments, but it just makes no sense: Warsman's mask hears Brocken Jr's plea, suddenly does his classic smile while on Neptuneman's cape and throws down a Bear Claw to slash the net open? What next: a magic Ashura Buster from the same cape!? I did like moments in this chapter such as Mongolman's "20 Million Powers" explanation and Big the Budo's sack attack, but the negatives sometimes just seem to overrule the positive, particularly in this series.
