TN: I guess in a weird sort of way (which gets rather convoluted and stupid but I'll get to that), the chapter did tug at my heart a little bit in an emotional way. Dr. Bombe is still a character who really feels like a DEM and forces regular characters to do things they wouldn't usually do, but I like his relationship depicted with Prince Kamehame and how the two of them essentially were allied to the very end, including the whole metaphor of the unfinished chess game. And somehow I find it funny that Geronimo's assistance suggests he really should go into medicine instead of Choujin fighting and that this chapter felt like a special edition of Black Jack or some medical drama on TV...but that's about all I have to say that's good.

Turning back to my "other side", this chapter really makes me question when the heck Doctor Bombe was created by Yudetamago in the first place and if they intended him to be treated this way...or just created him as a DEM as such and threw this together at the last moment. OK, I get that they needed a doctor character to explain how Ramenman lived through his hell and returned as Mongolman. And at the same time they were able to use him to flesh out Kamehame a bit more post-death. But think about this: if Doctor Bombe came to the Tag Tournament to "help the young Choujin" (even if he "foreshadow dreamed" Kamehame's death) and saved Geronimo after his match...then what about Kamehame/Kinnikuman Great!? The incident where he was sucked in by Sunshine's Cursed Roller was the same exact fight as Geronimo getting hit by the Improved Ashura Buster! If Doctor Bombe was meant to exist then, he could have saved Geronimo as well as potentially save Kamehame without giving away his identity! Sure, there's the matter of Terry becoming Kinnikuman Great, but that could have been covered easily: Kamehame gives Terry the costume while getting treated! And furthermore, while the Cursed Roller was ultimately fatal for Kamehame, it wasn't fatal to other characters so he could have lived! Therefore, this late addition and his subsequent story just seems to screw everything up yet again and destroyed what could have been probably a similarly implausable...but more interesting scenario.
