-> RTS Page for Kinnikuman 256
With his own power combined with the strength of Buffaloman, Suguru is finally willing to take on the Hell Missionaries in the Tag Tournament finals! But are the Muscle Brothers really ready for this final match and what it entails?
Chapter 256: Dream Choujin Tag Arc (48): Terrifying Sword Deathmatch!!
28.
Everyone: AAH
Audience: OOH
Announcer: The…left arm of Kinnikuman that we worried about…has completely recovered in a night’s rest!!
29.
Audience: As expected, Kinnikuman is invincible with his Burning Inner Strength!! Your complete recovery was believed from our hearts—
Suguru: Ev…everyone’s cheering for me…
Terry: The Justice Choujin who were called champion candidates until now have ben smashed and even the audience had lost their trust facing the Justice Choujin.
Terry: But, Kinnikuman, by seeing your complete recovery, the audience can cheer for the Justice Choujin once again!
Audience: Mus—cle Mus-cle.
30.
Audience: Mus—scle Mus—cle
Announcer: Those in the crowd who were calling for the Missionaries until earlier are giving rise to the Muscle Call as if in antagonism----!!
Budo: I…don’t understand! The expression of Kinnikuman at the moment he was kicked by Neptuneman and fell saved himself. My feelings didn’t tell me that!
Neptune: If Kinnikuman can move his left arm unconnected to his intention…
Budo: Huh—are you saying that Kinnikuman’s left arm has intention--!?
Neptune: I certainly saw it!! As he fell from Tournament Mountain, Kinnikuman’s left arm……
31.
Neptune: Moved on its own…
Neptune: And held back his fall!!
Neptune: Somehow, if we don’t pay attention to that left arm during the match……
Budo: Huh!
Announcer: Now, Kinnikuman is entering the Finals Box!!
Harabote: Fufufu, shall we finally introduce it: the perfect stage to compete in the finals!
32.-33.
Suguru & Neptune: Th…that’s!?
Suguru: Wh…what is that—The ring has things spreading around it--!?
Terry: Th…they’re boards with swords nailed on them…
Suguru: What?
Neptune: A Sword Deathmatch? The chairman has thought up a fun thing.
Suguru: Great, do you know what a Sword Deathmatch is?
Terry: U—m, I don’t know it well, but if I can infer my feelings of what we see…
34.
Terry: It’s similar to a Lumberjack Deathmatch with the point of impossibility to escape, but compared to being pushed back those who would escape the area…here you’ll be greatly wounded by falling out……truly if it’s hell in the ring, then its hell outside the ring too!
Suguru: Hie~~
Harabote: Well, does it suit you? This match method is a method of perfect conclusion, frequently used in the era of ancient Choujin……since this was ultimately a brutal match method in present times, it has come that we haven’t had to use it at all!!
Harabote: For starters, the man who thought up this brutal battle method was Neptune King, called the strongest man of the ancient Choujin world!!
Suguru: Th…this Neptune King is here. That old man was said to award Neptuneman his mask—
35.
Budo: Neptune King-sama bound Choujin wrestling to rules, fearing that it would be changed into sports!
Budo: The basis of fighting is to kill or to be killed. Based on his spirit, Neptune King-sama devised this Sword Deathmatch!!
Terry: ……………
Neptune: A deathmatch guided by Neptune King, who is my master at heart, will be fun!!
Neptune: How about it, Muscle Brothers?
Terry: If we don’t accept, then you two will possess
Terry: The Gold trophy.
Suguru: Neptuneman, you’re a coward. If your master Neptune King is an expert in the Sword Deathmatch, then aren’t you an expert in this deathmatch too since you’ve inherited that master’s mask!!
36.
Suguru: Ke…I’m not going into an enemy trap under my nose. I quit, I quit.
Terry: Kinnikuman, wait!!
Suguru: Even if anyone stops me, I’m not going into this match—
Suguru: My…left arm is on the rope…
Suguru: Bu…Buffaloman!!
Suguru: Right…That’s it. My body isn’t just my own. Buffaloman lives inside this left arm!
37.
Suguru: I’m sorry, Buffaloman. I’ll have a legitimate fight for you.
Terry: Kinnikuman!!
Suguru: Great!!
Announcer: Well, with the two teams who are disputing for the finals in the ring complete, the path to the ring having a sword-board placed down. Now there isn’t a place to escape from the battle area anymore!!
38.
Suguru: Well, with that, come at me!!
Neptune: Hold on a moment!
Neptune: This Sword Deathmatch is actually interesting, but don’t you think it’s boring with just this?
Suguru: Then, what are you saying?
Neptune: Choujin tag rules are a one-round match with no match time limit, but with this the final match, I want to make this a special three-round match with no match time limit!!
Suguru: Huh—make our one-round match into three-rounds--!?
Terry: In short, it’s a match method where even if a team gets the first round, they won’t win if they don’t get a second round.
Suguru: Great, we’ll do it! Thus, even if we don’t get the first round we’ll win when we take back the remaining two rounds.
39.
Robin: No, Kinnikuman! Accepting this rule is what the Missionaries want!!
Suguru: We’ll do it: the three-round rule!
Announcer: Thus, the final match will be a three-match, no time-limit Sword Deathmatch---!!
Robin: Kinnikuman, you’re undertaking a terrible match method. The reason the Missionaries insisted on a three-round match is so they can be certainly have their Mask-Hunts, with Great in the first round and Kinnikuman in the second round!!
Suguru: Huh--!? You should have said that much sooner~~
Neptune: Fufufu…you’re too late.
Neptune: The empty spaces on my cape is where your and Great’s masks will be placed--!!
40.
Announcer: Well, the gong for this unprecedented historical big event is echoing out--!!
Neptune: Quarrel Bomber—
Announcer: The first combatants are Neptuneman and Kinnikuman--!!
Suguru: Owa—no, you’ll never rip off this mask---!!
Suguru: O—h, right, this match is a Sword Deathmatch!
Neptune: The twenty thousand swords beneath the ring are lying in wait to suck in the blood of the four of us!!
Neptune: Owa
41.
Neptune: Will you escape!!
Neptune: Sorya—
Announcer: Neptuneman has avoided his Quarrel Bomber and instantly is in the stance for his Double Arm Suplex--!!
Announcer: However, Great is throwing his body onto the drop point, entering to rescue Kinnikuman---!!
Terry: What!?
Announcer: Ge—However, Neptuneman has stopped partway through his stance for the Double Arm--!!
Neptune: Here, Budo!!
42.
Announcer: It’s the Missionaries’ Hijack Pile Driver--!!
Meat & Mayumi: AAH
Announcer: The connection of the Missionaries has exceeded the connection of the Muscle Brothers---!!
Terry: UOO—
Announcer: With Kinnikuman getting hurt, Great is an adverse current—
Neptune: Demonic Schuss!!
(TN: “Schuss” = “Straight Descent”, usually used in conjunction with skiing for downwards descents or a course of such)
43.
Suguru: Great~~
Announcer: Great has become the first victim of the Sword Deathmatch!!
Neptune: Fufufu…even if you want to save him, you’ll fall into the twenty thousand swords.
Suguru: You~~!!
Neptune: Come at me!!
Voice: Not only are you in a posture frantically protecting your mask, but you’ve been given a chance by them, Kinnikuman!!
Suguru: Bu…Buffaloman!!
44.
Buffalo: By protecting your mask now, all your nerves are concentrated on your mask and you’ve forgotten to protect your own body! Your body, now open for their aim, will be knocked about, and by being powerless, they’ll have the room to tear off your mask!!
Suguru: Of course…
Suguru: For them to dispatch and knock about my body, it’s best for them to drop me to the sword-planks outside the ring…By doing that, I have to aim for one of them!
Suguru: OK, Buffaloman, that’s enough advice!!
Neptune: Quarrel Bomber!!
Neptune: Demonic
Neptune: Schuss--!!
Suguru: Owa
45.
Announer: Neptuneman has switched from his Quarrel Bomber to his Demonic Schuss--!!
Suguru: The switch of your techniques
Suguru: I already accept!!
Neptune: Uge
Suguru: 48 Killer Techniques: Choujin Strangulation---!!
Terry: Ki…Kinnikuman!!
46.
(DREAM CHOUJIN TAG ARC)
SPECIAL VTR XXIII
KINNIKUMAN VS. HELL MISSIONARIES
TN: In a weird way I'm sort of happy with this chapter in some ways...but not others. The ways I'm happy is mostly due to Suguru actually revealing another of his 48 Killer Techniques while sacrificing himself to the swords beneath him as a means to take on Neptuneman. Even with the bizarre situations he's under, he still finds ways to fight back and place things to an advantage. (even if the trick of the match only seems to affect the beginning of said match) On the other hand...even if I caught on a bit later, the way that they had Suguru fall for the 3-round match as a means to get in two Mask Hunts was deceptive and a bit foolish...but smart on Neptuneman's behalf. But then again there is all that Buffaloman stuff...but you can't win them all I guess.
