Meat: That’s from one of the pivot screws of Mixer Taitei. That one came out in the middle of the match earlier. Well then, I have to give a shock to the back of his head from one good blow. If I can do that, then the body of this machine guy should fall apart.
Meat: Right: I don’t have any reason to really not win this. Prince has perfectly performed a preliminary on him.
Mixer: Does…this Short Stuff really plan on facing me!?

KINNIKUMAN VS. MIXER TAITEI
TN: I have to start by dedicating this chapter script to AmeftoWriter, a big Kinnikuman fan here on MH as well as throughout other websites like Little Rubber Guys and Mangafox. Since the day I started translating these scripts, he's been a massive supporter and has been waiting for one chapter in particular: Meat's big battle against Mixer Taitei in the 1st round of the Throne Succession Tournament. (since he's a huge Meat fan, even making a comment on his own way back when Yudetamago tried to make him "Meat Kinniku" as opposed to "Alexandria Meat" like he finally is now). As many moments as the little guy had since arriving to keep Suguru in line to follow in his dad's footsteps, Meat has mostly been a major supporter whose kept mostly the logistics and the moral support to Suguru, mostly in the early days (when he really had very few supporters human or Choujin) but still there even more recently. (well...except the whole "Devil Choujin separation plan"...I never got how Meat could live with his body split apart like that) Sure he does seem a bit annoying to some and had a horrible non-child-like voice in the dub (what is he, Burgess Meredith?), the scrawny, bespectacled kid is the heart of Kinnikuman...and as you all know, the heart is just as important a muscle as any of the others.
Well with sentimentality and nostalgia out of the way, Meat's big moment is here...and let me say there's no disappointment at all! In some ways, the set-up of the chapter, aside from the David vs. Goliath aspect of some kid whose merely watched matches vs. a professional "mixer thing" Choujin wrestler, feels so much like the good old days of the series, where Suguru had little respect himself and had to earn it through his fights and his deeds. It's not the audience's fault that Meat is the only fighter left on Suguru's side...particularly with Robin and Terry acting like jerks earlier in the arc, but he impressed them ultimately by using everything he witnessed. Sure it was against Mixer Taitei, who as I mentioned before is essentially made of glass and will shatter if hit hard enough, but it was still something that seemed hard and that ultimately succeeded on his behalf. And I find it a bit surprising that his favorite of Suguru's moves is his backdrop...but the kid has taste otherwise.
Oh, one more silly thought: in the midst of the complaints early on about Meat facing Mixer Taitei, someone mentioned the whole factor of "the Evil Gods taking over Earth". It makes me wonder: why the heck does Planet Kinniku politics screw with the rest of the universe so badly? I mean, not one of the Evil Gods has yet to say anything about "taking over the Earth/universe", merely that they don't want to have Suguru rule! Heck, none of them have even set up a political platform of what they'd do with their Prince as ruler of Planet Kinniku...I guess it's one of those "we'll figure that out when we get there" concepts I assume.

When I heard about this match for the first time, I was shocked and I didnt know that he could actually fight.
Meat was really awesome in his fight. He even used a verson of the KKD. Which suprised me a bit because of the fact that Kinnikuman was the only one who can do the KKD.But the match was still great! :D
Well actually I have still have other matches i've been wanting to be transalted as well (Brocken Jr's match :D and the final match of the arc), but I'll wait for it.
I was also confused of that part about the Evil Gods taking over the universe, since they didnt mention it at all.
(oh and umm by the way, I'm a girl. Sorry!)
Meat doing KKD/Burning Inner Strength was bizarre but I guess it's just the latent potential of all...and Suguru just using it the best/most somehow or another. It's never explained but, as i said, think of it as the "early days" homage the chapter gave to the little guy.
As for the "gods ruling the Earth", sadly that's Earth's whole purpose in this series. Though all Choujin crap is ruled by the Kinniku Clan, everything happens on Earth. I guess after Buffaloman, Akuma Shogun and the Hell Missionaries, the people can only dread what the Gods want with them.
