KINNIKUMAN VS. PARTHENON

TN: I seriously hope this is the end of Parthenon. I know it may or may not be from the way the chapter ended, but after every horrifying image I've imagined with him since this match started, the sooner he's defeated the better. That aside, I actually liked this chapter for the most part after the horrifying stupidity of the previous chapter. I didn't say everything about it was perfect: for one thing, while I don't mind Robin's encouraging words to Suguru of "even if you yourself give up, I believe in you and will keep fighting to the end", the way Ramenman and the hospital trio join in and it suddenly turns into a Friendship Power speech just felt very forced and saccharine. I don't mind trust in the ring...but Friendship Power speeches just seem very cliche and stupid after the Tag arc rammed it into the ground. Yet at the same time, I loved Suguru actually fighting alone against Zebra and Parthenon like he usually does when the odds are the most against him. And even more, I also really loved the appearance of "Evil Kinnikuman" (actually it gave me deja vu of Chanelman back in the America arc) and how Suguru started beating up on Ramenman as part of a weird "act". (to tell the truth, I actually sort of wished evil Suguru was a cliffhanger and then the next chapter ended the way this did: with Zebra getting tricked and Suguru revealing he played him for a fool) The way Parthenon's evil shadow was co-opted was almost considered cool...but then I realized it was because Robin's head is now engrained on Zebra's body and then I realized maybe it wasn't perfect but I give them points for effort. So for the most part, at least Friendship speeches aside, I'm happy to say this was probably the best complete chapter of the fight. (the "return from break" chapter had funnier bits but...yeah, it was ruined so this is better due to a "stronger average")
