Suguru: Right: due to the person taking the Napalm Stretch having both their arms and legs held firmly and falling from the distant skies, they take violent air resistance, with their body being carved in what’s like the form of an “A” of the alphabet.

Evil God 1: Phoenix, we three had possessed those three Fated Princes of Mariposa, Big Body and Zebra who participated in this Scramble for the Throne match and have already been defeated, but…
Evil God 2: If it has come to this, Evil Gods, and so an Evil God can win through to the end, then we will all gather as one and cooperate for Phoenix who is possessed by the God of Intelligence.

“Evil God”: It is not just the three of us: the God of Brutality is slipping out from the corpse of the real Soldier, who has already died at the Himeji Choujin Hospital earlier and, for some reason, has discovered a potent clue that is concerned with the true identity of the fake Soldier.
Phoenix: Somehow getting the cooperation of all the Evil Gods of Flight, Strength, Techniques and Brutality is heartening.

Mayumi: Hold on, Ataru! You’re the vortex man who will rescue Suguru’s soldiers of friendship just like in the Prophecy---!!

Brutality: Kekeke: that was trouble. This is a section written about the true identity of the fake Soldier of the Muscle Prophecy, which is held with utmost devotion by the Great King Kinniku.

KINNIKUMAN SOLDIER VS. KINNIKUMAN SUPER PHOENIX

TN: This is a chapter which I'd like to nickname "Smart Choujin doing Stupid Things...and Stupid Choujin doing Smart Things". Why give such hard, harsh words? Well if you see the characters and how they act, you just sort of wonder who is using their brains and who is just screwing up with everything. The first Choujin I'd like to refer to this example is Suguru's father Mayumi, who ended up in this chapter doing probably the one thing that ends up essentially screwing up the arc even more from here on out: using the Muscle Prophecy as a shield allowing for the page explaining "fake Soldier = Ataru". Now let's think about it: it's bad enough that the Muscle Prophecy even exists in this series...but to use it as a shield against a bird, especially considering the bird is a transform representation of the God of Brutality who wants that very page you had opened to screw with your own son (who, you know, isn't supposed to exist or be known to the world at large), is just plain stupid! I know Mayumi has done dumb things in the past, but this has to be one that either was purely instinct...or just purely stunk. (and while I'm on that briefly, this chapter seems to confirm it further: Phoenix is just a "tool" of the Evil Gods and they're more douches than he is)

On the other hand, if Mayumi looks like the idiot of the year after this chapter, then Mammothman is a complete and utter genius! Heck, who would have thought that a character like "Mammothman", who seemed to be all brawn and muscle and "grr, must destroy you" as recently as last chapter, would actually use his mind for a genius, match-saving maneuver regarding ripping up the floor of the ring and using it to stop the Napalm Stretch of Ataru, then use it to kick "Soldier's" butt for the rest of the chapter shows probably one of the reasons why he's a member of 'intelligence' team. I guess it goes to show you: sometimes brains is all based on how you battle in the ring...but of course Suguru does that all the time.

And while we're going on and on about smartness and stupidity in this chapter, I think I need to just get this out there about the one factor that shows more of the latter more than anything in this stupid series: the TV broadcasters who are airing everything involving this tournament. Now I already made a complaint about them a few chapters back in literally "force-feeding" Ataru (yeah, we can say that now) the images of his panicking mother Sayuri forcing those tears out of him due to her plight. But as if I wasn't already angry or stupefied by the nonsense the TV cameras show or advertise, this chapter made it even more befuddling! First of all, we cut back to the stupid airing of "the dying Soldier" at the start of the chapter, which the Evil Gods stated prior "aired just earlier that morning" (which makes sense considering how long the match had been going) but seemed, just as I made mention probably last time...that he died in real time. Yes, when we saw Soldierman in the last couple chapters, he wasn't just on "TV that morning" but airing right there and then! And yet while the cameras can air that...guess what else they could have aired...and decided not to? You got it: Osaka Castle at the moments Mayumi kept going on and on about "don't reveal who you are, Ataru, the fate of the world is depending on that!" Now as you know, the idiots seem to be broadcasting at Osaka Castle and showing every little tear on Sayuri's cheek a few chapters ago...what's to stop them from airing Mayumi going on and on about Ataru and revealing him to the world, doing what even the Evil Gods were befuddled on how to handle!? Are they that sacred that they want to air something that was just emotional-exploitation but at the same time don't want to show off a game-changing event that, you know, is important at this point in the tournament!? How the heck can they exploit one thing and not another!? Why do they seem to love showing off one thing stupidly but can't, you know, also air the nonsense about Ataru's revelation!?!?!?

And the worst part: this chapter is the exact middle point of the entire arc...which means we have an entire half of an arc left...and this rate will have it all be that whole final battle, which could drive us all insane by then!
