Left for dead in the underwater gate to the Choujin Graveyard, Geronimo has saved himself with a bit of magical botany by way of the Tam-Tam trees of his tribe...but will it be enough to help him take down Omegaman?

Chapter 359: Scramble for the Kinniku Throne (86): The War-Cry Reversal!!

107.
Announcer: Geronimo, who we thought had died underwater, has revived climbing a large-number of trees that are suddenly growing up from every direction of the moat of the stone-wall ring---!!

108.
Omega: Wh…what—all these trees were planted through every section of the moat---!?
Robin: Those are things that have grown of the same Tam-Tam seeds as the totem pole that was Geronimo’s charm!!
Suguru: These Tam-Tam seeds are the same Tam-Tam seeds said to grow from seeds to large trees in a short time that was handed down by Geronimo’s Indian tribe----!!
Geronimo: I was clearly resigned to die when my body was crunched by Omegaman’s ghost Choujin underwater.
Geronimo: And I was sinking into the Choujin Graveyard, the entrance to that world, while the blood rapidly flowed from my body…
Robin: What—the entrance to the Choujin Graveyard is within the moat of this stone-wall ring---!?
Suguru: Hie—fuwa—

109.
Geronimo: More and more I had come to the entrance of the Choujin Graveyard, which drifted with the stench of corpses. At that moment, a small bundled spilled out from the pocket of my tights.
Geronimo: These were the Tam-Tam seeds, which I had possessed from Chief Cheyenne, my master, before I contended in this Survival Match.
Geronimo: Knowing of the existence of the Tam-Tam seeds, I grabbed the seeds at once and threw them, aiming for the mud at the water-bed.
Geronimo: As you know, the Tam-Tam seeds grow into large trees with just an abundance of water, even without fertilizer…the point is that within the moat of this stone-wall ring is correctly a treasure-trove of water! The Tam-Tam seeds that were buried in the ground budded at once and matured into large trees—
Geronimo: I who bore these serious wounds climbed onto the Tam-Tam tree and returned above ground, barely escaping alive.
Announcer: Now the serious truth has been revealed by Geronimo! It really can’t be but the inside of the moat that surrounds the stone-wall ring connects to the entrance of the Choujin Graveyard!!

110.
Geronimo: The purpose of the Choujin called Omegaman is to participate in this tournament for, of course, directing Phoenix to the Throne of Planet Kinniku, but his other is for the purpose of searching for the corpse of Neptuneman, which has become missing, and kill everyone on our Team Kinnikuman, which set free Warsman from the Choujin Graveyard, by order of Choujin Enma, the governor of the Choujin Graveyard---!!
Suguru: Hie—kill everyone on our team---!!
Omega: Fuo—fuofuo: it’s late even to be surprised now, Kinnikuman.
Omega: I have already caught the tail of Neptuneman.
Neptune: Uuh!!

111.
Omega: The way that I kill Team Kinnikuman will be the same as how I’ve already taken the life of Geronimo!!
Omega: Five Ghost Choujin, open your mouths---!!
Geronimo: Ge—I’m certain…the Ghost Choujin should have had sharp fangs in their mouths from when they attacked me but…they don’t!!
Omega: Hey, Geronimo, their teeth are in the five wounds in your body.
Geronimo: Geee!!

112.
Omega: Omega Blood-Spray Fangs---!!
Geronimo: Gyaa---!!
Announcer: The fangs of the Five Ghost Choujin eating into five points in Geronimo’s body are increasingly opening Geronimo’s wounds, gushing blood out of them---!!
Omega: Fuo—fuofuo: further pain: pull out all of the blood that’s the blood in his body---!!

113.
Robin: That Omegaman: he’s remote controlling the fangs of the Ghost Choujin eating into five points of Geronimo’s body by sending a directive wave from the five Ghost Choujin on his back---!!
Geronimo: Aah…the large amount of bleeding is dimming…my consciousness……
Phoenix: Omegaman, now is the best chance to deliver the finisher to Geronimo!
Omega: Understood, Phoenix-sama.

114.
Announcer: Omegaman is climbing the Tam-Tam Trees and is moving to the side aiming for the direction of Geronimo so he could deliver a finisher to Geronimo---!!
Geronimo: If…I take his finisher, the lives of Neptuneman and Kinnikuman’s group will be in danger…
Geronimo: Bu…but, with my physical strength now…it’s close to impossible to prevent an attack by O…Omegaman…
Geronimo: N…no: there is! Just one me…method to prevent Omegaman’s attack!!
Omega: Ke: what are you grumbling to yourself: are you saying your prayers?
(TN: Omegaman actually says “nenbutsu de mo tonaete yagaru no ka?”, which is “are you chanting out to Buddha”…but of course, considering Geronimo is a Native American and somehow it didn’t feel right in English in this case, I made it more generic in “say your prayers”)

115.
Geronimo: APACHE WAR-CRY----!! (URARARA)
Announcer: Geronimo has turned to Omegaman and fired his Apache War-Cry, which possesses a destructive power to the extent said to crumble a mountain with it’s cry----!!
Omega: Uwa---!!

116.
Announcer: Somehow Geronimo’s Apache War-Cry is being taken and starting to greatly sway the Tam-Tam Trees---!!
Robin: Geronimo is doing a trick by presenting a vibration to the air by firing his War-Cry, causing turbulence to the Tam-Tam Trees that are bathing in the vibrating air!!
Omega: Uwa—stop! I can’t hold on anymore----!!
Phoenix: You can do this, Omegaman!!
Omega: It’s too late---!!

117.
Suguru: He did it: that Omegaman has fallen, coming to not withstand the shaking of the Tam-Tam Trees----!!
Announcer: Geronimo has made Omegaman grovel to the canvas for the first time by the Tam-Tam Trees handed down by his Indian tribe---!!
Audience: He did it—Geronimo, now conversely return back with your finisher---!!
Geronimo: If…if I give a finisher to…to Omegaman…
Geronimo: St…starting with saving the lives of Kinnikuman and Robin mask, who are greater in power than I, I really would have come to this without handing over Neptuneman to Choujin Enma!

118.
Geronimo: Fo…for now, even with Team Kinnikuman fighting in the Scramble for the Throne for predominance……I…I will defeat Omegaman even in exchange of my life!!
Announcer: Geronimo is falling from the Tam-Tam Trees as well----!!

119.
Geronimo: WOOD CUTTER HAND!!
Announcer: Somehow Geronimo is deforesting the Tam-Tam Trees in the moat one after another with his hand blade in place of an axe; that’s the form of a Choujin chainsaw---!!
(TN: “Hand blade” is in Japanese “shutou”, which is using the side of a hand like a sword or blade)

120.
Geronimo: UH!
Robin: That’s absurd, Geronimo! You’re deforesting the large trees bare-handed--!!
Suguru: You’ll come to not be able to use that hand ever again---!!
Geronimo: This is the last one!!
Announcer: The finished-cut Tam-Tam Trees are collapsing one after another on top of Omegaman, who is stretched out in the stone-wall ring! Can Omegaman do nothing more---!?

121.
Geronimo: I’ve saved you: this is for Team Kinnikuman and Neptuneman…
Suguru: Al—right: with this, we can finally line up even numerically with Team Phoenix---!!
Robin: Lo…look: Omegaman isn’t dead yet…
Omega: Fuofuofuo…………
Omega: You thought I was alone: you’re always forgetting that the Five Ghost Choujin are protecting the safety of my body.
Announcer: Somehow the five Ghost Choujin on Omegaman’s giant fingers defended Omegaman from being crushed beneath the Tam-Tam Trees---!!

122.
Geronimo: M…my Choujin Power has completely been used up with my Apache War-Cry and Wood Cutter Hand; I don’t have power left to just…stand up anymore…
Omega: Geronimo, they very first I’ll be sending to the Choujin Graveyard will now be you!!
Suguru: Ooh: that stance is the Omega Catastrophe Drop!!

123.
Voice: Geronimo, take this assistance!!
Announcer: The Miracle Ash that rescued Geronimo from the first Omega Catastrophe Drop is being thrown again from the spectator seats aiming for the stone-wall ring!!
Omega: I’m certain that the person who threw the Miracle Ash is the wanted man Neptuneman---!!
Omega: Ge! N…no: that’s not Neptuneman! Wh…who is that Choujin!?

124.
Geronimo: This…is a long-awaited favor, but th…this Geronimo doesn’t need your assistance.
Suguru: AAH
Announcer: Somehow Geronimo is throwing back the Miracle Ash that is said to be his liferope---!!
Neptune: Geronimo, what are you doing!!
(TN: Yeah…I know it is “Samurai” as introduced a few chapters back on the title page, but considering Neptuneman is the one tied to the ash, I’m treating it how I treated Kinnikuman Great: though we’ll see him as “The Samurai”, he will be in the scripts as Neptuneman)

125.
Geronimo: Thank you, Neptuneman…you would rescue me to the point of changing your identity…but if I accepted the ash now, you living in tranquility will come to be swallowed within the swirl of battle once again.
Geronimo: Just that I can’t do!!
Omega: Fuofuofuo: go—down to Choujin Enma---!!
Announcer: Geronimo is captured in the Catastrophe Drop by Omegaman once again---! However, Geronimo this time doesn’t have the Miracle Ash used to save his life like the first time---!!

126.
(SCRAMBLE FOR THE KINNIKU THRONE ARC)
SPECIAL VTR LXXIV (XXXXXXXIV)
GERONIMO VS. OMEGAMAN

TN: As stupid as the last chapter was, I have little to say this time around. It isn't that I'm tired, it's that there was more just a lot of strange things going on as opposed to anything particularly stupid or evil or ridiculous. A lot of the stupid stuff is for the most part the same as usual: the weirdness of the Ghost Choujin in Omegaman's hand, the Miracle Ash and Geronimo being as human as a Choujin can get...as usual. But even with the stupidity, there were some interesting ideas and choices for the chapter. I actually sort of saw the ingenuity Geronimo had once upon a time this time with his usage of things such as the Apache War-Cry to shake Omegaman from the Tam-Tam Trees and then lumbering them all with his bare hands. I even found it weird but cool that Omegaman essentially used "remote controlled teeth" to hurt Geronimo further. (see, when they're not concerned with Friendship and making an intriguing plot to explain the bullcrap, Yude can still write a cool fight) I even sort of found cool Geronimo's choice at the end to no longer take the Miracle Ash and actually take the final Omega Catastrophe Drop to protect Neptuneman's identity. Yeah...the Samurai uniform was weird particularly how Neptuneman pulls it out of nowhere to hide himself though it's obvious we know it's him as does Geronimo think so...but it works: it allows for him to go out in public but also hints to Geronimo he threw the all-purpose ash out there. (though why not just go as Kenkaman due to no one remembering him...I don't know)

If this series had less stupid stuff and more remote-controlled teeth, it would be remembered as more epic as it is.
