Kinnikuman hasn't had too much luck handling anything on his own lately, but when a Kaijuu approaches who may (or may not) be looking for him, he's about to prove that he can handle it and not bungle it up...yeah right.

“Yudetamago”: Good morning.
Sign: Zoom In Morning
(TN: “Zoom In Morning” (also known as “Zoom In Asa” is a Tokyo-based morning show on air via Nihon TV from 1979 through 2001. It has since been replaced by “Zoom In Super”)
Meat: Prince, so there are handsome people in this world, aren’t there!
Sign: Muscle is Friend!
Suguru: Umu! Just like Paul McCartney and Sylvester Stallone.
“Yudetamago”: To begin with, I do this thing called manga.
Announcer: Pardon me! Some special news has come in just now.
“Yudetamago”: Uh…um, I’m still going…
“Yudetamago”: WA~~H, I’M THE LEAD IN THIS CORNER!
Bouncer: We’ve got no choice, it’s special news! You—guy—
Producer: Too bad~~~that was this guy’s first TV appearance.

Announcer: We interrupt this program to bring you special news. A frog monster appears to be headed towards Tokyo.
Suguru: …Meat, its purpose is to get me!
Meat: Eh? Prince!
Suguru: Of course! That guy has heard about my activities from America or Europe and has come to challenge me!
Meat: He—a foreigner is searching for you~~
Suguru: Fu fu fu, it occasionally isn’t bad for me to even defeat a blue-eyed kaijuu.
Announcer: Now, this Kaijuu appears to be from Akita.
(TN: Akita is in the north-west section of the Tohoku region of Japan)
SFX: DODO
Meat: It’s from neither America or Europe……
Suguru: Well…anyhow, I’m certain it’s come to challenge me.
Suguru: But, as is, whenever a kaijuu appears, I’m always being usurped by Meat and Terryman…it’s come to that I haven’t had the setting to achieve anything.
Meat: I understand. This time, I’ll quietly stay in the house.
Suguru: Wh..what!?

Suguru: Uuh…This…this is great~~~it’s been a long time since I’ve had a solo scene~~~
SFX: CRY
Meat: If it’s great, then I won’t appear anymore!
Suguru: WA~~~I heard that! They’ll forget about you when you’re already cut from Jump!
(TN: I’m a bit confused about the context: is Suguru talking about Meat being “cut from Jump” or “they’ll forget you and we’ll be cancelled from Jump?”)
Meat: Wawa…this has become terrible…
Suguru: Now I’m off!
Suguru: Ara…
SFX: AHO—AHO—
Suguru: Oh, it’s there!
Suguru: It’s you!? Are you the Kaiju who came in search of me from Tohoku?
Kaijuu: No, you’re wrong-zura.
Kaijuu: I’ve come in search of Kin-zura.

Suguru: What are you saying? That “Kin” is me! Ha ha ha ha ha
Kaijuu: That man has some misunderstanding-zura.
Suguru: Hey, where are you going!
Kaijuu: I’m going in search of Kin……
Suguru: Isn’t Kin right here!

Kaijuu: It’s not you-zura!
SFX: Bounce / BA—M
Suguru: Unu~~~~Im…Impudent~~

Suguru: Will you take this!? This is my German Suplex!

Suguru: U, you haven’t made progress from before.
Kaijuu: I’ll remove it when I find Kin-zura.
Suguru: You…Self-Defense Force guys, can you please loan me some power!

(TN: Remember: Yoshinoya = gyudon chain, which Suguru adores, Morinaka = milk company, which is his weakness)

Suguru: Hey hey, is this time time to sing! Hurry and do something with my legs!
Meat: In a word, shouldn’t you take some advice? To be frank, it’s best if you raise your legs.
SFX: PLOP
Suguru: Ooh, I’m out!
Meat: Even the prince’s brain…
SFX: Pop

Kin: YOU SHOULD HAVE WAITED BACK AT HOME!

Kaijuu: Bu…but I was lonely…
Kin: There’s nothing I can do on when I am there!
Kin: You two, I’m sorry for all the trouble my husband gave you on his journey.
Suguru: That Kin wasn’t about me…

Meat: However, she was a strong lady. Something like that is called a Gyaria Girl.
Suguru: Looking at those two gave me memories of mom and dad on Planet Kinniku.
Meat: Of course.
SFX: ACHOO
Mayumi: So…someone is spreading rumors of me.
(TN: This is an old wives tale of someone sneezing when something is being said about them in Japanese lore)
Mayumi: Well, dear, I’ve made dinner.
Sayuri: We’re having curry rice again~~~!?
Mayumi: Bu…but, that’s all I can make…

TN: Somehow Kin (and Sayuri at the end) makes me wish we had more powerful female characters in this series. OK, we do meet one later but we never really get any really powerful or notable Choujin...well not until Nisei but who knows why Yudetamago never really did anything that had some great woman warriors alongside the men. Other than that...at least the editing department (circa '79) gets another blast from one of their own...sure it's not like Dr. Mashirito (who comes about when Toriyama starts Dr. Slump in '80), but anything that jokes on the editors is good enough for these mangaka.
