After a lucky first round, Suguru survived into the second preliminary...but does he have what it takes to get through another round? And what the heck is Kinkotsuman planning anyway?

(TN: Korakuen Stadium was the home stadium of the Yomiuri Giants and the central stadium of Tokyo until it was torn down and replaced with the Tokyo Dome in the late 1980s)

Announcer: This competition will be judged by facial expression and pose.

Narrator: After Specialman, the others cleared one by one.
Meat: Wa……amazing
Announcer: And~~now, Terryman has also cleared! The only one left is Kinnikuman.

Announcer: OK, he’s cleared it this time.

Terry: Id…idiot, you can raise up ten ton steel.

Narrator: However, it wasn’t just Specialman, the next competitor and the one after that failed……
Terry: I’m certain this is the work of Kinkotsuman…
Terry: Of course it is. They completely zapped themselves with an Invisibility beam to completely disappear. That is what Kinkotsuman’s group does.
Terry: The invisible Kinkotsuman tickled the bodies of the challengers, making them falter.
Choujin: WAHAHAHAHA
Iwao: Hey.
Terry: Then they pettily kick them in the vitals…
SFX: CLUNK
Terry: They’ll get crushed underneath the kaijuu.
SFX: SLAM

Iwao: Yep.

Announcer: Kinnikuman has a bit more but he really can’t do it!
Kazuo: What isn’t going in is Yudetamago’s manuscript.

(TN: The expression they asked is “Fukanshou”, which is a term for sexual frigidity)
Suguru: My frigidity is bad, Kinkotsuman-chan.
Kinkotsu: WA~~~~I’M EXPOSED—
Kani: O—K, How about this!

Suguru: OWAAAAA

Chair: Ooh, that pose and that painful-looking face~~~
Kinkotsu: …That appeared to help him…
Chair: Success~~!!
Suguru: A RETURN GIFT FROM ALL OF US~~
SFX: SLAM
Kinkotsu, Iwao & Kani: GYAAA
Announcer: Well~~then, somehow or another, Kinnikuman cleared two tons!
Suguru: YA—Y YA—Y
SFX: BOING SLAM
Meat: However, this year the prince will get killed by the skys.
Kinta: Well, the competition hasn’t ended yet for the rest of us.
Brocken: It will be over real soon.

TN: This was a fun chapter with a lot of crazy hijinx with the Kinniku family (Mayumi is just crazy when he's running amuck), but it just feels a bit lost for one reason in particular: that explanation sequence of Kinkotsuman's invisibility plan. The way it was set up just seemed like it was Terry explaining everything so simply and easily as if he knew exactly what bonehead would pull. It was hard for me to discern whether that was him or the narrator but since he started talking at the start saying "Kinkotsuman would do this", it just lead to me thinking he was explaining it all and thus leading to my interpretation of the scene. Other than that, I think the whole situation with the defeat of Specialman...was strange. It was meant to be tragic but just the way they superimposed the American flag when Terry screamed seemed to just feel weird. Surprisingly this is probably one of the few times in this series Specialman gets such respect and treatment, though...but I guess even he deserves some props occasionally. (particularly since he and Terry are country-mates...though I really don't know where in the "North" Specialman would come from)
