Brocken: They’re knocking at me!
Beans: Crystalman, we’ll attack them in the fort.
Crystal: Right.

Ingen: You’re joking! That’s what you’re saying……
Beans: Right, right.
Suguru: Ah…

Police: U—m, this is an unlicensed driver with a speeding violation……

Voice: Who did it? Kinnikuman was on the handle…

TN: Phew...and with that, we have just finished several things. On one hand, this was just probably the shortest chapter I've probably ever done in my translating career. There probably is something shorter but the whole chapter was battle sequences and just too easy to translate. (aside from the final panel with the space police). And on the other...the whole Planet Rakka nightmare is finally over...and I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I mean seriously, all of this buildup and they just finish all the Space Nobushi off in one chapter? Was this part of the plan or did Yudetamago somehow screw up and decided to wrap it up in one chapter? Somehow, this whole arc has been a complete waste of time in all that we just witnessed...except for two things. First of all, we actually sort of do get our first taste of Brocken Jr. He becomes more prominent in the following arcs but this chapter introduces his trademark "Red Rain of Berlin" which he uses quite a bit. (and a further rivalry with Ramenman that gets studied in the following arc) The only other really good thing that I liked about the chapter (and the arc) was Crystalman: while he isn't used ever again after this (except maybe for some crowd shots), his use in this chapter and one of the early ones had him as a rather fun character. Sort of wished they used him more but...thems the breaks.

So with this chapter done, we've essentially crossed an important threshold. For the most part, the original project of bridging the gaps of chapters not done by Toriyama World in their Kinnikuman project is pretty much complete. You pretty much now have an easy time going from the start of the series to the end of the Devil Choujin arc with no problem. On the other hand..there's still actually one chapter to go. It really isn't anything important or crucial, but I am a completist so I just feel like it has to be translated before we finally can move to some new stuff. And that's...the next translation!
