and yeah it does seem a bit like the fake spike!!!
The way Agon's eye looks in the last page makes it seem like he'll intercept (it looks like a calm look) regardless of what he said in the chapter. Still, it seems like whatever Agon does is probably anticipated by Hiruma.
I think it'll be at least 3 more chapters until the game ends.
Besides, don't Deimon need a 2-point conversion to win? Game's been going so long, I've lost track of the score...
hiruma knows he can't win on overtime, that's the thing. sena is almost done for Oo
And there won't be any penalties either. 20-odd volumes worth, and has anyone seen any flags thrown? I can't remember any.

Ironic? Didn't know people can be ironic.
It can't go overtime. IMO, not because Sena is too fatigued or that Hiruma is risky or anything but because if they go into OT, Deimon vs Shinryuuji would practically be the best game. I think the majority of us believe that Deimon will definitely make it to the Christmas Bowl thus, they have to save awesome games for OT for the future, maybe against Oujou. Like I said, this is just IMO.
As for the last game Deimon will play against, I've seen most people say that it will be Seibu and some say that it'll be the Dinosaurs cause Marco seems like an important character but there must be some significance with Banba's face being all scarred up. Hey, maybe the manga will show the details of these matches.
I'm anxious now to see Monta vs Sakaruba's Everest Pass and Sena vs Shin's Ballista (or whatever the Ballista is - could be some formation).
my guess that shinryuuji match will be over in chap 197 with two point conversion (in the double jump in two weeks)
now, about that, oujou will definatly be next. my guess, seibu will *not* go to the finals, because as we saw with the last match, they will definatly lose (hiruma smarter than kid and sena better than rikku). my first opinion is that the taiyou will get there, but i'm not sure, the dinosaurs will probably won't get there, maybe the wolves, if the dinosaurs can beat seibu, they won't want to change with deimon so easily ^^"
seibu will lose only in the half finals, if anything, my guess is that their opponents will have the real ES21, but that's not yet to be known! it's either that, or their opponents will be taiyou after their spartanian training. it's was meant for that or for emphasizing the wolves win...
am not sure, but kakei was told that the real ES21 is kantou, am i wrong? because, if so, he's with the wolves. if not, he'll probably show up in the christmas bowl.

i see you've not read / have not understand / have heard rumors of v18-v19
akabane is never, but never, the real ES21, he's not the running back for starters, and kakei says he's no true ES21, he just named himself so with no reason. it is said many times that he's not the real ES21! there are enough proofs :P
I only read the ones that were scanlated. I thought he was the real ES21 since I read the last chapter and it sounded to everyone like he was and passed it on to Sena.
I didn't read the whole game (can't read japanese) but I assumed since Hiruma mentioned that ES21 is given to the fastest runner and then Akaba passed the name onto Sena.
Anyways, I figured he was a halfback but for some reason joined the Spiders as a TE. The main reason I want to read the scanlations of vol18-19 was to find out why ES21 left Notre Dame and why everyone denied his existence.
If he's not the real ES21 then I guess my questions won't be answered. It does answer why an an athlete like him would join a high school japanese team though (since he didn't).

I just said bonus point cause I didn't want to type out 2-point conversion. Besides, I always thought it was bonus kick and bonus touchdown. I figured bonus point was just the general term for either-or.
