Prince of Tennis Genius 319 The Gate Has Been Tightly Shut

Okay, here's the trans for PoT 319. Just as a heads up, if you haven't figured it out already, I know nothing about tennis or terminologies used in tennis, so if I've gotten any of them wrong, feel free to correct me. :D Same goes for anything else you notice is incorrect.

and man, i love how fuji jumped right back into the game and caught up. i can't think shiraishi will let it go on like this, but i can't imagine fuji losing, especially after looking at his facial expression on the last page.
but isn't the 5th counter illegal? i would have thought it'd be considered carrying the ball :X

hey, thanks LOADS for the scanlation. and nope it aint illegal. in tennis, you can hit the ball as many times as ya wanna... as long as it is done in ONE swing of the racket.. for eg, when you play tennis and take a wild swing on the forehand, you miss and the ball hits the frame twice, adding super spin to it.. its still legal.. flukes like these are a HUGE advantage cause the super spin can make the ball bounce back to your side of the court..kinda like hakugei.. but not so exaggerated.. this happened to me once on a forehand volley..it was SWEET.. ball came right back to me.. i believe there is some famous trick shot player who could do it consistantly.. cool eh? its not all fake after all..
The characters read the the 5th counter, but the author calls it the final counter in the furigana next to the kanji which tells the reader how he wants that kanji read. So I went with what the author calls it, just as I did with the Hacatonchires. Which wouldn't be read that way in kanji, but it's how the author specifies it also with the furigana.
but i guess i shouldn't be too keen on the rules of pot... after all, echizen even used umpire's chair to jump and cool drive in his match with sanada XD
