俺英語すら話せない I can't even speak english
But I searched the net for examples of this and it turns out this quote is quite a big one. Which leads me to think that to this person, his sword was his everything. and when he lost, that that shock was quite big. Not only did he not have anyone love him, but his best friend also betrayed him... まぁその感じ so---
You could translate it like... a bit liberal but...(and not looking at the manga either just based off what I read when I searched :p)
[Was I destined to be] Rejected by everyone... Even my sword?
something like that might work ;)

I added the "..." to kind of show the disappointment, but I guess it could be without.

Musashi has nothing to lose, whereas we have too much. - or something along the lines. I'm not too crazy about repetitions in general.
How about legacy instead of history? We will not risk our family's legacy on a war with one mere rounin!
