Number 2: "horafuki" means a braggart or someone who boasts a lot so an "ooborafuki" is someone who is a huuuge braggart or boaster.

With Kojiro here, we'll have a chance to sell our services to some daimyo. - I'd go for daimyo with a note explaining what it means on the side of the panel ie Daimyo: The daimyo (Japanese: 大名: daimyō) were the most powerful feudal rulers from the 12th century to the 19th century in Japan. The term daimyo literally means "great name." (from wiki)

Yeah, bridge to success is what it says in the Japanese, I guess we don't particularly have to be that literal but I think it's a nice way of putting it.
Bad translation, the word at the point literally means something of the following: "commanding esteem; winning acclaim; gaining; receiving; command esteem; win acclaim; gain; receive;"
How about: "I'll win acclaim for getting Kojiro into the Yoshioka dojo as an instructor."
This moment. It's vague. I'd assume after whatever Matahachi thinks is going to happen to Kojiro.
The here adds in the emphasis that Matahachi is also in Kyoto.
Literal Translation: I-up until now-heavy rocks in my belly-carried-lived-you probably don't know.
Yours works, but I'd rather: "You probably don't know anything of the burdens in my life."
I think we should just drop it down to: "How dare you..."
Used: "We're not going to go to the authorities."
How about: "They might make Kojiro their successor or something."
Reading it again he doesn't sound too sure.
