And here's Vagabond 224. Sorry for the lateness, still kind of wrestling with this computer to get it to work. In any case, you guys had pocketmofo's (thanks dude) awesome translation to tide you over until mine come out.

I fancy Earth over Soil, because soil makes me think of excrements. So would "Earth that cries out for blood" work?

Yes. You didn't have a problem with this last chapter. It's the last line of 223.
I like referring to the populace as the public rather than saying 'people' or 'everyone', it has a more official feel to it. Also, judging from the picture they're talking about a sign, which is a sort of official thing.
The 'to them' is actually in the sentence. They actually say 'enemy', so more literally it would be: "that you turned your back on your enemy and fled. They will say as much as they like."

I'm old, I forget. Also, sometimes I miss things. But it's okay, the line, I mean, I just wanted a clarification.
Then how about leaving "on your enemy" in the sentence? I think it sounds better.
