Blue Dragon: Ral Ω Grado 12

Chapter 12, enjoy people.

Remember, this is a ROUGH draft. Mistakes are bound to occur, and updates might happen later on down the road.

Also, just so you know, before you read this chapter, the author decided to switch from Galette last chapter, to Gannett this chapter. I chose Gannett because it's a more well accepted name than either Ganette or Gannette are. (Google, 13 million hits as opposed to the 1.5k and 16k.)

Oh, and yes, on page 20 he does say Galette as opposed to Gannett. Then say Gannett again on page 21. I'm hoping this is intentional by the author.

We should first think of how we're to cross the sea, Ral.

グラドを飛ばして皆で乗って行けば3日で着く
It would take us three days to fly over there on Grado.

でも　それだと渡った途端グラドを休ませなくちゃならなくなる
But right when we landed I'd have to let Grado rest.

ミオ先生　海にも敵のカゲはいるんだよね
Mistress Mio, there are Shadows in the seas as well, right?

うん　でも　今までに確認されてるのはサメとクジラに似た2種類だけ
Yeah, but, the only ones we've managed to confirm are two varieties, sharks and whales.

魚類にカゲが入っても具現化はできない
A Shadow would not be able to materialize itself if it entered a fish.

元々　カゲは水中では生きられないからセカンド以上がサメやクジラを直接食べたとしか考えられないわ
Originally, Shadows weren't able to live in the water so only Seconds and up could directly consume a shark or whale and be in the water.

Probably just 'cause there aren't any humans in the sea.

海のカゲは闇女王(オブスキュリア)の命令でカサピア大陸に誰も近づけないために居るのだと考えられます
It is believed that Queen Obscuria ordered the Shadows of the sea to not allow anyone close to the continent of Casapia.

夜は船ごとグラドに運んでもらい　明るい時は船で海を行く
Grado will carry us at night, and when it's bright we'll use the boat.

その繰り返しならグラドの力も温存して5日もかからず渡れる
If we keep doing that then we can save Grado's energy and make it across in five days.

そういう事ならお金などいりませんよ
If that's what you need, then money isn't an issue.

They're not creatures of this planet. Must be Shadows that entered a whale or a shark.

Nine days ago Galette crossed the sea from here.

彼が海を渡りながら退治したカゲが上がってきたのだろう
These are probably the Shadows he exterminated on the way.
