The setting is in World War era "Garuma" (Germany), but all people are anthropomorphic animals. In the aftermath of World War I, Garuma is devestated. In these chaotic current times, the displaced student Bau Mueller, who doesn't care for politics, is just trying to get by. Quite by chance, he finds himself pulled into a nationalist political activist group. This group contains people from all walks of life; A widowed duchess who provides financial backing, an exiled professor, a locksmith, a drunken poet, and more. From them, Bau learns about the political forces threatening his homeland, and that even someone young like him can make a difference. Will Bau be able to survive the times and do the what is right for himself and his country?

Recognizing her school uniform as coming from his own middle school, Kazuto manages to find this girl, Nanase Narue, and ask her out.

Though they both like each other quite a lot, the truth is that Narue is an alien, here on earth with her father, who is a Galactic Federation Investigator to Earth. This introduces countless troubles into their blossoming relationship, both from alien complications and from the debunking efforts of classmates that refuse to admit Narue is not human.

4koma manga about Sunao Moriyama, a male junior high student, who finds a small, cute creature in his refrigerator. During breakfast, Sunao looks down at what he is eating, a bun with potato and mayonnaise filling, and decides to name the creature Potemayo. Sunao takes Potemayo to school with him and she is an instant hit with his classmates, especially the girls. While they are at school, another similar creature comes out of Sunao's refrigerator and makes its way to a park where Sunao and his class are spending an art class. Kyō Takamimori, one of Sunao's classmates, finds the creature and names her Guchuko. Unlike Potemayo, Guchuko is aggressively antisocial and shoots searing energy beams out of horns on the sides of her head when she is confronted

Fleeing in a spaceship from her home planet of Valhalla, Princess Warukyure (Valkyrie) has crash-landed on the unlucky Kazuto and his public bathhouse. In order to save him from death, she has given half of her soul to Kazuto, binding them together irreversibly.

With only half her soul, unless she borrows power from Kazuto, Waru-chan reverts to the form of a child. For Kazuto's part, he's now basically invulnerable, which is a lucky thing considering all of the explosions, death rays, and crashing spaceships that are now a commonplace occurrence. Will Kazuto's bathhouse, friends, and city be able to survive being mixed up in Waru-chan's royal family drama?

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Kurobone was probably the most surprising. Despite it featuring anthropomorphic animals, it's actually a pretty serious political story. Narue no Sekai was cute, and it's kind of nice to read a romance where both the girl and the guy are pretty much good-hearted people. P.A. looks interesting, it reminds me of an article I read once about people's increasing social isolation leading to the growth of that sort of industry.
This week, I only found Ame Nochi Hare interesting (due to the genderbending aspect :P) and the Haco one-shot (the apocalyptic world aspect).
