Hankai: It's true the Amenotori is half gone and we have no means of controlling it. The fact remains that it is headed towards Earth as originally intended.
So if we were to flip that on it's head, we may not be able to control it normally, we can get to it's head and somehow tell it to stop.
With the system destroyed, we could work around security protocols and directly influence the core of the ship which would make it possible to stop it.
The problem becomes the Earth's gravitational field –with that inferring in matters I'm not sure how long we can keep the Amenotori from moving.
Shoukaku: So what are we lookin' at chances wise?
Hankai: I don't think you really want me to answer that.
However they aren't “zero” so theoretically there's still hope.
Shoukaku: Never thought I'd live to see the day where you say somethin' like that.
