Futagami Double Oneshot : Futagami Double

Phew... I haven't done any translation since ToLoveRu ended... Hopefully I'm not too rusty. :)

Also, sorry about that it took so long... I couldn't find much free time to work on this while I'm at my parent's house, not to mention I needed to do the Chinese Translation first before working on the English...

Anyway, enjoy! And hopefully you'll like it!

03
Sousuke: I'm home.
Sister: Eh~~ Sousuke!?

Sister: When did you leave the house~~?
Sister: You were still in your room just now.

Sousuke: Huh?
Sousuke: What are you talking about, Nee-chan...
Sousuke: I've only got home from school just now...

Sister: Eeeeh---!? You're kidding----! I was sure you were here.
Sousuke: ... Sure, sure.

04
Sousuke: ... Sheesh, Nee-chan must've slept too much and confused herself...

Sousuke: Mom?
Sousuke: What are you doing in the dark?

Sousuke: Today, I----

Sousuke: ......

05
Sousuke: What in the world was that...?
Sousuke: It vanished right after... I must've been too tired or something......

Friend A: Yo, Sousuke!
Friend B: Why the hell did you ignore us when we called your name yesterday!!?
Sousuke: !?

Sousuke: Huh?
Sousuke: I was walking in front of the train station last night!?

06
Sousuke: You got me mixed up with someone else. I was at home all day yesterday.
Friend A: Quit playing dumb! Anyone who've seen it would know it was you!

Girl: We saw you as well----
Girl: That you were walking on the street like you're out of it, Futagami!

Friend A: So it WAS you!!
Sousuke: Whoa! T... There has to be some kind of mistake!!

Yuka: ......

07
Friend B: What was it then? You're making it sound like some sort of Doppelganger.
Sousuke: D... Doppel what!?

Sousuke: !!

Panel Text: Doppelganger.
Panel Text: It is a paranormal phenomenon also called a "double", where one would witness another one of themselves.

Panel Text: It's been said that those who witness the other self will suffer death.
Sousuke: Huh?

Sousuke: ......

Sousuke: I... It can't be! I must have seen something else!!

Yuka: ......

08
Yuka: So what DID you see, Futagami-kun?
Sousuke: Gyaaaah-----!

Sousuke: Amane!?

Sousuke: It's Amane Yuka!!
Sousuke: Did she talk to me just now!? We had nothing to talk about up until now. So why...!?

09
Yuka: So did you see it?
Yuka: Yourself?

Sousuke: Erm... What...?
Yuka: Your other self!

Sousuke: ......
Sousuke: Yes, I did see it!

10
SFX Bubble: Stomp
Boy: ?

Yuka: I see... So you did see it...
Sousuke: S... She kicked my face in...

Yuka: I thought it could be something else when I heard from the other classmates...

Sousuke: ......?

11
Sousuke: Whoa!

Yuka: Listen to me, OK?
Yuka: Futagami-kun, what you have seen is called an "Id".
Yuka: It is the collective of your residual feelings!

Sousuke: !?
Sousuke: She's so close...
Sousuke: Id...?

Yuka: Yes...
Yuka: That's the true identity of phenomenons such as living spirits, ghosts... or Doppelganger.

12
Panel Text: People are constantly radiating various thoughts and feelings to their surroundings.
Panel Text: These residual feelings would normally dissipate as time goes on.
Panel Text: However... In extremely rare cases, instead of dissipating, some of these high density residual feelings will actually manifest itself and take on its own form... It is called an "Id".

Yuka: Id is mostly likely to manifest itself during ones teen ages, when they are extremly sensitive. Data also shows that...
Sousuke: W... Whoa, there, Amane!?

Sousuke: I... I'm sorry to say this, but I'm just a normal person, right?
Panel Text: What the hell? Is this girl just delusional or what...?
Sousuke: I just don't have that kind of special ability where I can make clones of myself or something.

Yuka: ......

Yuka: That is actually quite common.
Yuka: For a person's mind, this kind of influence is actually just the starter.

13
Yuka: With a strong will, a person can achieve above his or her normal physical ability.
Yuka: There are also cases where incurable diseases become fully cured.

Yuka: Also----...

Sousuke: T... The water!?

Yuka: I am able to manipulate water with my mind.
Yuka: A firm will can even bend the laws of physics.

14
Yuka: Of course... To achieve this will require similar level of training.
Bucket SFX: Splash
Sousuke: ......

Sousuke: A... Amane...
Sousuke: Who are you... Exactly...?

Yuka: Enough about me!
Yuka: We don't have time to just sit around and chat right now, Futagami-kun.

Yuka: It's settled! We'll be skipping school!!
Sousuke: Huh!?

15
Sousuke: We're going to capture the other me!?

Yuka: Id is basically just a doll without a mind, who wonders around places where the original usually goes.
Yuka: Also, if the original person touches it, it will disintegrate and disappear.
Yuka: We have to capture it before something bad is to happen.
Sousuke: ......

16
Sousuke: My usual hangout is pretty much around this spot.

Yuka: Hmph.
Yuka: Looks like it's not around here. I can't feel anything remotely like it either.

Panel Text: Amane Yuka... Seriously, what kind of girl is she exactly?
Panel Text: Until just now, I've only known her to be this "cutesy girl~"...

Officer: Hey!
Sousuke: !

17
Officer: You two, the young couple! Why aren't you in school!?

Sousuke: C...!
Sousuke: Couple!?

Officer: Hey! Hold it right there!!
Sousuke: Damn, let's run for it!!

Sousuke: Hah... Hah...
Sousuke: T... That scared me a bit right there~~~~~
Sousuke: Come to think of it, wearing uniforms sure makes us stand out in the crowd! Haha......

Sousuke: Amane?
Panel Text: Gah... Did that make her mad?

18
Yuka: ......
Yuka: They actually saw us as...

Sousuke: Huh?
Yuka: N... Nothing! Let's hurry up!
Yuka: We don't have much time left!!

Sousuke: ... Hey!

Sousuke: What do you mean... By we don't have much time left?
Yuka: ... I'm talking about Id "Fallen into Negative".

Sousuke: "Fallen into Negative"?

19
Yuka: An Id is a naked Thought Entity.
Yuka: It is placed in this world filled with people's hatred and resentment.
Yuka: Under the influence of such strong "Negative" residual feelings, it will gradually be infested by darkness.

Panel Text: And when it is completely taken over... It is called "Fallen into Negative".
Panel Text: An Id which has "Fallen into Negative" has it's own consciousness and will want to kill the original...!!

Sousuke: Kill the original!?
Sousuke: W... What for...?

Yuka: So that it can replace that person.
Yuka: And become the one and only!!

20
Panel Text: Five years ago, my brother was...
Panel Text: Murdered by his own Id, which has Fallen into Negative...

Yuka: I do not wish to experience that ever again...
Yuka: Which is why I......

Sousuke: Amane...

21
Sousuke: !?
Sousuke: A water gun!?

22
Id Sousuke: Screech
Yuka: Futagami-kun, stay behind me!!

Panel Text: That is to use an even stronger will power.

Panel Text: And destroy it!!

Yuka: !?

26
Sousuke: Amane!?
Yuka: !!
Panel Text: It can't be...

Id Lady: Kill the original!!
Id Lady: That shall finally clear your mind!!
Id Lady: And help you becoming a new and more superior being than any human!!

Yuka: This Id... has grown tremendously in mental state.
Yuka: To what extend will taking upon human form help an Id grow...!?

Yuka: I don't have enough water with me to beat her... I must move to somewhere else...
Yuka: But that would put Futagami in......!!

Id Lady: So you're a Slayer with ability to manipulate water...

30
Id Lady: Slayers... Abominations who can control "Thought Entity" and Hunt for Id...
Id Lady: To put it plainly, we are merely "sustaining" ourselves.

Yuka: I know that!
Yuka: Aren't you the ones hunting down humans and devour their consciousness!?
Yuka: All just to maintain that Thought Entity you have as a body!!

Yuka: The sudden deaths... as well as disappearances over the years...
Yuka: Aren't all of these has something to do with Id!?

Id Lady: I'm not really interested.
Id Lady: On subject regarding humans, our food.

Sousuke: G... Get out of the way.

Sousuke: Aren't you born from my thoughts!!?
Sousuke: Which means...

36
