One Piece 422

Here’s a translation of the script posted in the spoiler thread. There was already a translation posted, but some of the lines were a little off. Lucci’s attacks are mostly named after flowers, so I’ve left their names in Japanese for now (since I don’t know the names of most Japanese/Chinese flowers). Enjoy!

Chapter 422: Rob Lucci

船員A「中将殿！！ためらいの橋のニコ・ロビンの拿捕はどの様に！？」
Marine A: Vice-Admiral!! How should we handle the capture of Nico Robin on the bridge of Hesitation!?

中将A「放っておけばいい」
Vice-Admiral: Just leave it be for now.

中将A「―もう5年も昔の話･･･―ある王国で500人もの兵士が海賊に捕まる事件があった
海賊の船長は人質の命と引き換えに王の座を要求　人質を思うあまり手も足も出せず降伏寸前の王国に世界政府より送り込まれた少年が一人･･･少年は海賊達のアジトへ潜入すると人質である王国の兵士 500人をその場で皆殺しにしたのだ！！」
Vice-Admiral A: This story happened over 15 years ago…there was an incident on an island where 500 soldiers were captured by pirates. The pirate’s captain wanted to become king of the island in return for sparing the soldiers lives. It was all but impossible to act when thinking of the lives of those hostages and just as the island was about to fall, a single boy was sent by the World Government…The boy infiltrated the pirate’s hideout and killed the island’s 500 soldiers on the spot!!

驚愕する船員達

中将A「海賊達は怒り砲弾を浴びせたが少年は爆炎の中から海賊の船長の首を取って一件を収めた･･･！！！背中にいくつもの砲弾の跡を持つ少年は13歳にしてCP9の諜報部員　闇の正義を天職とするCP9史 上最も強く冷酷な殺戮兵器と人は言う　その男がこの島にいてニコ・ロビンの護送任務を受けている以上我々がそこに手を出す必要はない　我らはためらいの橋を除く全てを焼き尽くすまで」
Vice-Admiral A: The pirates became angry and showered the boy in bullet fire. The boy emerged from the explosions and took the head of the pirate’s captain and ended the incident…!! That boy who had many bullet wound scars covering his back, at the age of 13, became a member of the intelligence unit at CP9 and found his calling in life there serving justice from the darkness and became the strongest and coldest killing machine since CP9’s inception. As long as that man is here on this island to assist in the escorting of Nico Robin there is no need for us to act. We will do nothing until all but the bridge of hesitation is destroyed.

*Scene change to Zoro, Sanji, and Sogeking

サンジ「あのな･･･こんな地下通路に水なんか流れて来たらおれ達ァ溺れ死ぬしかねェじゃねェ か」
Sanji: So…you know if water were to start flowing down in this underground passage we would really just end up drowning.

そげ「ゾロ君は聞こえないか水の音！！」
Soge: Zoro, do you hear the sound of water!!

ゾロ「んん確かに･･･妙な感じはするな･･･」
Zoro: Yeah…I have a weird feeling about this…

あ･･･!!!
AAh….!!!

そげ「やっぱり！！！」
Soge: I knew it!!!

ゾロ「バーさんやナミ達が水に追われてるぞ！！！」
Zoro: Nami and the old lady are being chased by water!!!

そげ「ホラ見ろ！！！この通路は水で埋まっちまうんだ！！！」
Soge: SEE!!! This passage is gonna fill up with water!!!

ナミ「あんた達この水なんとかして――！！」
Nami: You guys, do something about this water---!!

サンジ「ナミさんが････！！！」
Sanji: Nami is…!!!

サンジ「俺の胸に飛び込んで来る――――――！！！（目がハート）」
Sanji: …is trying to leap into my arms (really his chest)!!! (*his eyes have hearts in them)

そげ「ポジティブ――――ッ！！！」
Soge: You’re too positive---!!!

一同「うわあああ！！！」「きゃああ」
Everyone: Waaaaaaaaa!!! Kyaaaa

全員水に飲まれる
*They all get sucked up by the water

巨人の銃食らうルッチから
*Lucci having just gotten hit by the Gigant Pistol

ルッチ(意識が飛びそうだ　このまま･･･海に落ちるわけには･･･！！！）
Lucci: (I'm feeling faint...I can't just fall into the sea like this...!!!)

艦隊の甲板に落ちるルッチ
*Lucci falls on the deck of one of the fleet’s ships

ルッチ(軍艦の甲板か･･･助かった･･･)　元に戻るルッチ
Lucci: (The deck of a ship…I’m saved then…) *Lucci returns to human form

船員B「何者だァ！！」船員C「獣！？」船員D「いや！！能力者だ！！」船員E「やはり能力者 ！！」
Marine B: Who are you!!
Marine C: A beast!?
Marine D: No, it’s a DF user!!
Marine E: I knew it, a DF user!!

船員F「何者だと聞いているんだ答えろ！！！」
Marine F: I’m asking who you are!!!

大佐A「よさんかバカ共！！銃を下ろせ！！！」船員G「大佐！！」
Commander A: Would you idiots stop already!! Put down your arms!!!
Marine G: Commander!!

大佐A「･･･その人はCP9のロブ・ルッチ氏だぞ！！」
Commander A: …that person is CP9’s Rob Lucci!!

背中に傷の見える半裸ルッチ(ここでルッチの年齢がバレる）

ルフィ「ゴムゴムのロケットォ―――っ！！！」
Luffy: Gomu Gomu Rocket---!!!

船員H「何か出てきたぞ！！！」
Marine H: Something just came out of there!!!

船員I「あれは一億の首！！麦わらのルフィだ！！！撃てェ！！！」船員J「意外と太ってる！！ 」
Marine I: That’s the 100 million bounty, Strawhat Luffy!!! Fire!!!
Marine J: He’s actually kinda fat!!

ルフィ「効くかっ！！骨風船は固ェんだ！！！ゴムゴムの巨人の斧(ギガントアックス！！！！」
Luffy: You think that’ll hurt me!! This Bone Balloon is really hard!! Gomu Gomu Gigant Axe!!!!

かわすルッチ　かわしながら突進しながら完全獣化　ルフィに噛み付く
*Lucci dodges and turns completely into his animal form and bites Luffy

ルフィ「うわあああああ！！」
Luffy: Uwaaaaaaaaaa!!


身体を膨らませて弾き飛ばすルフィ　再び元に戻るルッチ
*Luffy flies away by blowing his body up. Lucci turns back to human form.

ルフィ「ゴムゴムの巨人の鞭(ギガントウイップ）！！！」　かわすルッチ
Luffy: Gomu Gomu Gigant Whip!!! *Lucci dodges again

船員K「うわああ危ないマストを折られた～～～～！！！」
Marine K: Whoa, that’s dangerous. The mast was broken~~~!!!

船員L「ムチャクチャだあの２人の戦いは！！」
Marine L: This fight is too wild!!

ルッチ「指銃　撥！！！」食らうルフィ
Lucci: Shigan, Bachi!!! *Luffy is hit

ルッチ「力が増す分スピードは落ちる様だな」　蹴りをかますルッチ
Lucci: It seems as though your speed decreases as much as your strength increases. *Lucci kicks

ルフィ「ぐあ！！！」
Luffy: Guaaa!!!

ルッチ「嵐脚　凱鳥！！！」
Lucci: Rankyaku, Kaichou!!!

船員M「鉄の外板に切れ込みが！！！この船ヤバイぞ！！！」
Marine M: That ships iron brackets are starting to split!!! That ship is not doing well!!!

ルフィ「危ねェ真っ二つになるとこだ！！」
Luffy: Too dangerous, the ship is gonna split in half!!

不敵に笑うルッチ
*Lucci laughs boldly

中将B「何事だ」
Vice-Admiral B: What’s going on.

船員N「はっ！！中将殿！！麦わらのルフィとCP9ロブ・ルッチ氏が戦っているそうで船内がメチャクチャに ･･･」
Marine N: Haaaa!! Vice-Admiral, sir!! Strawhat Luffy and CP9’s Rob Lucci seem to be fighting…that ship is getting torn apart…

中将B「･･･････ロブ・ルッチなら死にはせんな　全艦砲手第4号艦に照準を合わせろ　5秒後に一斉砲 撃」
Vice-Admiral B: ….If it’s Rob Lucci then he won’t die. All ships, target the number 4 ship. All ships fire at once 5 seconds from now.

船員O「な････中将殿ご冗談を！！味方が千人も乗っております！！」
Marine O: Vice…Vice-Admiral, please don’t joke around!! 1,000 of our allies are aboard that ship!!

ドン！！！（船員Oに銃を放つ中将B）
*Bang!!! (Vice-Admiral B shoots Marine O)

中将B「一瞬の気の迷いで取り逃がした凶悪犯から　おめぇ････未来を守れるのか？」
Vice-Admiral: Can you protect the future…from a criminal who escapes/d because of a/your moment of weakness/indecision?
